Nightfall, the bright Moon hid shyly among the soft, silk-like clouds, casting its pristine radiance upon the serene world.

*Tap, tap, tap…* Accompanied by light footsteps, a figure emerged slowly from the depths of the night.

It slowly raised its head, gazing into the distance where stood a Towering Tree so huge that its canopy itself was like the sky, the figure in a black robe narrowed its eyes slightly.

“Long time no see, Master.”

“Long time no see, Ling Er.” As Yu Zi Yu gently replied, countless roots rose from the ground, continuously intertwining and transforming into a slender figure.

Ling Er was the most renowned figure in China, known as the Empress, and also an enigmatic and mysterious character passed down among Humans as a legend

Now, she lifted the black robe from her head, unveiling her exquisite countenance. Her eyes shimmered like flames, radiating a dazzling gleam. Cascading like a waterfall, her long hair fluttered in the breeze, with tongues of flame dancing amidst them.

Compared to before, the current Ling Er appeared more imposing.

In the words of Yu Zi Yu, she had truly grown up from the little girl she once was.

“Master.” Calling out softly, Ling Er took out a box from her bosom and slowly approached Yu Zi Yu.

“What is this?” Slightly curious, Yu Zi Yu cast a long glance at the box in Ling Er’s hand.

“It’s a secret treasure from China’s national treasury. If I hadn’t obtained the Dragon Heart from the White Dragon’s Cave this time, that guy wouldn’t have given it to me.” At this point, Ling Er’s corners of lips curled slightly into a smile.

It was a trade. However, Ling Er was quite satisfied with this trade.

Even if the Dragon Heart could fulfill that guy’s wishes, Ling Er did not mind because compared to the Dragon Heart, what she had in her hands was the real treasure.

No, to be more accurate, it was the real treasure for her Master.

Nothing could replace it, nothing.

With these thoughts in mind, Ling Er slowly opened the box under Yu Zi Yu’s curious gaze.

The next moment, a seed the size of a fist, throbbing like a heart, entered his sight.

It was just a seed, but Yu Zi Yu could hear a heartbeat from it, which caused an expression of disbelief to appear on his face.

An inexplicable longing momentary engulfed his entire body, a longing so strong that even the Towering Tree behind Yu Zi Yu trembled slightly.

*Boom, boom, boom…* Amidst the continuous rumbles, countless Silver Snake-like threads descended from the sky.

“What exactly is this?” Inquiring once again, Yu Zi Yu took the box from Ling Er’s hand.

The seed was just about the size of a fist, yet it exuded a fearsome vitality, as if it was gestating, yet also waiting.

However, that wasn’t the scary part. The truly terrifying aspect was that Yu Zi Yu actually felt an indescribably vast Spiritual Energy gathering within it. This Spiritual Energy was quite rare, being predominantly of the Water Element.

However, compared to ordinary Water-Attribute Spiritual Energy, its purity was terrifying. To a certain extent, it even made Yu Zi Yu’s pupils shrink. Just by touching it, Yu Zi Yu felt an extremely cold Energy surging into his body.

[It seems this box has some mysterious function. Otherwise, the cold energy within this seed is enough to cripple an ordinary Tier-3 Transcendent.]

“This is the seed of the Sweet Osmanthus Tree,” Ling Er replied.

She took a deep breath, and continued explaining, her gaze becoming more serious and solemn, “Two years ago, the Chinese Government discovered a Sweet Osmanthus Tree with sentience in a Forbidden Zone. Considering the situation of Master, the Chinese Government used a considerable amount of military force to kill this Sweet Osmanthus Tree in its infancy. Later, under the felled Sweet Osmanthus Tree, the Chinese Government found this seed.”

“It was by chance I discovered this seed in the national treasury. Compared to ordinary people, my powerful Spiritual Energy enabled me to perceive the extraordinary nature of this seed for the first time. It seemed to be sealed, with even its vitality obscured. Just a few days ago, I used my purple flames to burn away the seal on this seed, and it transformed into its current state. The fact that it’s constantly surging with such rich vitality and Cold Energy makes it hard to believe that it is quietly blooming.”

Hearing this, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes also flickered with curiosity.

He couldn’t help but admit that Ling Er gave him a big surprise.

Just like Mutant Beasts reverted to their Ancestors, this seed also had the potential to revert to its Ancestors, awakening powers beyond comprehension.

However, at this moment, before Yu Zi Yu could say anything, Ling Er added, “Master, after checking many biographies and secret records, and I have some speculations about this seed.”

“What do you mean?” Ling Er’s statement immediately made Yu Zi Yu eyebrow raise, piquing his curiosity.

“In ancient myths and legends, there is a Sweet Osmanthus Tree. Similar to the Fusang tree, it has the Innate Spirit Root of the Extreme Water Dao, born on the oldest known constellation, the Moon. However, unlike the Fusang tree, which birthed the Golden Crow, the Moon is desolate, extremely cold, and devoid of life. Therefore, the Sweet Osmanthus becomes the center of the Moon. As long as the Moon exists, it will be immortal. Likewise, its form cannot change forever, nor could it grow sentient. This seed, being so extraordinary, should have some connection with that Ancient Sweet Osmanthus Tree.”

At this point, Ling Er paused for a moment before adding, “Of course, this seed definitely cannot transform into the legendary Sweet Osmanthus Tree. After all, that Sweet Osmanthus Tree should be a Tier-7 Transcendent, or even a terrifying entity surpassing the Tier-7. While this seed, judging by its potential, only has the possibility to reach Tier-4.”

Yu Zi Yu also agreed with Ling Er’s speculation, nodding, “Indeed.”

However, the next moment, Yu Zi Yu’s tone changed, as he stated with a smile, “Even so, this seed is a true treasure to me.”

With his Innate Talent — Absolute Evolution, Yu Zi Yu was still considering the next Divine Tree to deduce. Ling Er’s bringing such a legendary seed had really given him a huge pleasant surprise.

While Yu Zi Yu couldn’t guarantee anything else about this seed, he was certain about one thing. If this seed truly had some connection with the legendary Sweet Osmanthus, Yu Zi Yu would definitely be able to deduce part of the legendary Sweet Osmanthus’ power, and even simulate, and then Master it.

For Yu Zi Yu, this was truly a great fortune.

This was truly a stroke of luck. The Ancient Divine Trees in legends were more than a level higher than the Divine Tree that Yu Zi Yu had imagined to open his Heavenly Eye.
