Beneath the beautiful night sky stood a Towering Ancient Tree, lush and verdant.

What set this Towering Tree apart from the rest was that it was currently emitting two kinds of light: green and red.

The green light was mysterious and extraordinary, faintly giving the impression of vigorous vitality while the red light gave off an inexplicable feeling.

Upon closer inspection, one would notice Yu Zi Yu’s trunk gleaming with a metallic texture in the pulsating red glow, and behind its hard texture was a hint of icy chill.

“The fusion is proceeding smoothly…” Chuckling, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze focused on a certain part of the trunk.

There, a heart burning with crimson flames was slowly sinking into Yu Zi Yu’s body.

Beside the Steel Elemental Heart was Yu Zi Yu’s Tree Heart, surging with rich vitality, resisting the terrifying Assimilation Power of the Elemental Heart.

Nonetheless, judging by the current condition, fusion was just a matter of time.

When the fusion was done, Yu Zi Yu would also gain the ability to devour the exotic metals to gain formidable metallic properties.

If he could obtain some legendary Metametals, it would be even better.

Even for the current Yu Zi Yu, it would be a significant improvement.

With these thoughts flickering in his mind, Yu Zi Yu glanced at a corner of his Tree Body.

*Yip…* With a Fox Howl, a huge Fox emerged from a sea of flames.

“Master, do you need something from me?” With a light giggle, Nine Tails looked at Yu Zi Yu’s Tree Body, which was currently surrounded in green and red glow, with a hint of astonishment in her eyes.

Only by staying a long time by Yu Zi Yu’s side could one perceive the terrifying changes Yu Zi Yu was undergoing. Although this change was slow, Nine Tails could still feel that her Master had gained a trace of coldness that didn’t belong to him before. A coldness that sent shivers down one’s spine.

“Nine Tails, instruct the Mutant Beasts below to pay attention to some unique metals.”

“Yes, Master,” Nine Tails readily accepted the command.

However, just as a moment passed, as if remembering something, Nine Tails immediately asked, “Master, speaking of exotic metals, shouldn’t Steel World…”

“Mhmm…” Before Nine Tails could finish, Yu Zi Yu nodded slightly, adding, “There should indeed be quite a few exotic metals in Steel World. But, there should only be a few that catch my eye. Let’s temporarily classify ‘Collecting Exotic Metals’ as a Priority One Mission in Misty Mountains. If somebody found something, we can divide the merit based on the value of the exotic metals.”

Listening to this, the corners of Nine Tails’ mouth drew back into a smile. [It seems like the Mutant Beasts of Misty Mountains are about to get busy again.]

After all, merits in Misty Mountains were very precious. A small merit could allow one to cultivate in the cultivation paradise of Misty Mountains for half a month, or even be guided by many powerful Kings.

In light of this, one could also imagine the preciousness of merits in Misty Mountains.

As for major merit, one could even invite the Divine Tree to cleanse one’s body and marrow and personally guide them.

*Tsk, tsk…* Just the thought of it left Nine Tails excited, not to mention those ordinary Mutant Beasts.

[I believe that when this mission is issued, the Mutant Beasts of Misty Mountains will start digging up the ground three feet under Misty Mountains. Most likely going to even farther regions.]

However, just as Yu Zi Yu ordered Nine Tails to search for strange and unusual metals, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes suddenly narrowed, as if sensing something.

“Master…” Nine Tails too called out, a slight change in her expression as well.

“I got it.” Nodding, Yu Zi Yu looked towards a certain direction to the south of the continent.

Yu Zi Yu could sense a familiar aura in that direction, an extremely familiar aura.

Even though Yu Zi Yu had not seen the opposite party, he wouldn’t forget it.

The aura belonged to none other than Qing Er, who also happened to be nicknamed the Empress.

“She should be leading the expedition to the Forbidden Zone: White Dragon’s Lair with the support of China.”

“Yes, Eldest Sister should be,” after recalling for a moment, Nine Tails also confirmed.

However, after a moment, as if remembering something, a worried expression appeared on Nine Tails’ face.

“Master, Eldest Sister…”

“It’s okay.” Waving off, Yu Zi Yu interrupted, “With Qing Er’s skills, she can handle the creature in the depths of White Dragon’s Lair.”

“Really? Okay.” Muttering, Nine Tails also let go of her worries. [Since Master said so, there shouldn’t be anything to worry about.]

However, just in the next moment, Yu Zi Yu’s suddenly rang in her ears again, “However, you should still lead Bull Demon and go take a look. If she needs assistance, you can help her out.”

At this point, Yu Zi Yu glanced at his own body, where the Elemental Heart was still slowly merging, and added, “I’m at a critical juncture at this moment, and can’t move for the time being.”

“Understood, Master.” Nine Tails nodded her understanding.

The next moment, without any more delay, Nine Tails let out a long howl. At the same time, a sea of flames rolled over as the four thick and long tails behind Nine Tails flail wildly, dyeing the night sky red.

*Moo…* At the same time, hearing Nine Tails’ call, a deep and resonant bellow, seemingly coming from ancient times, erupted from another corner of Misty Mountains as a burly and fiendish figure, wielding a giant axe, slowly stood up.

“Are we going out to get some exercise?” Glancing thoughtfully in the direction of White Dragon’s Lair, the perceptive Bull Demon naturally guessed the reason why Nine Tails called for him.

Bull Demon took a step forward, creating a loud thumb, before his figure disappeared from the depths of the mountains. When he reappeared, he appeared in the sky, leaving a streak of purple light behind.

Upon closer inspection, the hazy purple light seemed to be hovering beneath Bull Demon’s feet, as if lifting his entire body.

Antigravity – Bull Demon’s another ability gained after deeper mastery over Gravity, which allowed Bull Demon to easily lift his body and travel in the air.

While it might not make him as agile as White Tiger or even Nine Tails, it was still a decent means to move in the air.

“Master, shall we set off right away?”

After greeting the towering tree surrounded in red and green glow, Bull Demon grinned, gazing at Yu Zi Yu’s main body in inexplicable respect.

Perhaps it was as Bull Demon had once said, ‘His strength would change, but his undying loyalty and devotion to Yu Zi Yu would remain unchanged.’

“Mhmm.” Nodding slightly, Yu Zi Yu flicked his branch.

The next moment, a light green rain came down on Bull Demon and Nine Tails.

“Go, don’t disgrace the prestige of Misty Mountains.”

“Naturally,” responding, Nine Tails and Bull Demons turned into streaks of light without a moment of hesitation, shooting towards the horizon.
