*Boom, boom, boom…*

Accompanied by terrifying tremors, the entire canyon seemed to be experiencing an earthquake.

Looking up, at the base of a steep cliff, there was a finger-sized, golden-coated humanoid Ant, hacking and slashing at the cliff with its four legs that resembled scythes. Occasionally, it would even throw punches, smashing fiercely onto the ground.

However, this seemingly small Golden Ant left everyone stunned.

“I can’t believe it. Is this for real? Just a tiny ant like this?” Dozens of meters away, Qing Gang gestured with his finger and exclaimed, “Either times have changed, or my eyes are playing tricks on me. This little Ant is actually single-handedly shaking the entire canyon!”

“Uh…” A stiff expression appeared on Leng Feng’s face as he played with his dagger and looked at the distant Golden Ant. Cold sweat trickled down his forehead.

[This…is too terrifying! It’s shaking the entire canyon with its own brute strength! If it were formidable creatures like White Tiger or even Sarcosuchus, it would not have been surprising But… such a small Ant…]

*Ha…* Exhaling a deep breath, Leng Feng calmed his horrified heart. Then, his gaze shifted and he seemed to have discovered something; his pupils instantly constricted.

Not far away, a colossal White Tiger, the size of a small hill, was slowly approaching the Golden Ant, which was still focused on hacking and slashing the cliff.

Little by little…

Bit by bit…

He moved forward like a soldier crawling on the ground…

Until he was about five meters behind the Golden Ant…

*Howl…* With a terrifying Tiger roar, White Tiger lunged at the Golden Ant.

However, before he could reach the Golden Ant, a cold voice suddenly rang in his mind, “Third Brother,  if you dare to pounce on me, I’ll cut you down.”

“Uh…” The TIger’s face stiffened. And as he was halfway through the pounce, his large body propped up on his hind legs, the large White Tiger suddenly changed direction and leaped toward another direction.

Then, several Tiger roars follower, seemingly saying, ‘Just kidding, just kidding.’

“Hmph!” The Golden Ant made a cold snot, and then, without even turning its head, coldly rebuked, “No wonder, Lord Divine Tree says you’re stupid. You have already reached Level 9, and you still can’t do telepathy…”

“Uh…” The White Tiger did not know what to say. He felt like finding a hole to bury himself.

[Where did this damned Little Fifth come from? It’s already terrifying by possessing such terrifying strength at Tier-0 Level 5, but how can it use telepathy too?]

Now the White Tiger felt like he had lost all his dignity.

*Wu wu…* Whimpering softly a few times, the White Tiger shot a glance in the direction of Divine Tree, then quietly turned around and chose to leave.

[This is no longer fun. I will go find other ‘cute little things’ to play with.]

…

Meanwhile, in the distance, Yu Zi Yu and Xiao Qing, witnessing this, could not help but laugh and cry.

“That’s so funny! Old Third must be feeling hopeless.”

“Probably. After all, Little Fifth can do telepathy at just Tier-0 Level 5, while he can’t even say a word.”

Speaking of this, Yu Zi Yu could not help but sigh.

“Little Fifth indeed has extraordinary talent, but…”

“But, what!?”

Upon hearing Yu Zi Yu’s somewhat worried tone, Qing Er asked in surprise, “But Little Fifth had a difficult upbringing. Under Human experimentation, it witnessed the death of countless clansmen and experienced countless experiments. Sigh… it must have left deep scars in its heart.”

Nodding in silence, Qing Er seemed to have thought of something as suddenly a nonchalant smile flashed on her lips.

“But, Master, Little Fifth is quite close to you. In just half a day, it already listens only to you.”

“That’s true. After all, I’m the one who saved him.”

Smirking, Yu Zi Yu found it quite fortunate.

The Golden Ant maintained a menacing look toward everyone else, but he showed particular respect for him.

He even kneeled on one knee in reverence when meeting him, just like a Human.

According to Qing Er, the Golden Ant had not only been involved in genetic experiments but also underwent brain domain development experiments, exposing him to various knowledge.

In other words, he understood many things. He was just unable to express them before. But now that he had grown to Tier-0 Level 5, he could clearly express his thoughts and even control his actions.

…

At this moment, as if he thought of something, Yu Zi Yu’s branch suddenly beckoned Little Fifth.

Looking at the branch, Little Fifth— the Golden Ant in the distance— swiftly approached Yu Zi Yu without a moment of hesitation, then kneeled before him, paying his respects, “Greetings, Lord Divine Tree.”

“Good.” Nodding, Yu Zi Yu suggested, “There is a Spirit Stone plaza underground. You can go there to cultivate using the Spirit Stones.”

Then, he added a reminder, “If you want to hone your strength, you can also unleash it hundreds of meters underground…I don’t even mind if you create an underground space for yourself.”

“Yes, Lord Divine Tree.”

Lowering the antenna on the top of his head, the Golden Ant bowed.

However, if someone carefully observed Little Fifth’s expression, they would be surprised to notice that the indomitable look on his face never disappeared, not even for a moment.

Untamed, talented, and born with ferocity.

Certainly, Little Fifth was truly to Yu Zi Yu’s liking. Moreover, the most critical factor was his golden-scaled armor all over his body, that made him look like an ancient general clad in armor, making him look quite heroic.

Grinning, Yu Zi Yu felt that making him the fifth Beast was indeed the right choice. After all, there was no shortage of talented creatures in the entire North Canyon.

For instance, the Golden Monkey had the talent of Extreme Absorption, which allows him to strengthen his body by absorbing Spirit Treasures. With such talent, it would not have been a problem to become Yu Zi Yu’s fifth Beast.

Unfortunately, that little fellow was inherently unruly and could not be tamed. Unless he underwent trials or training for some time, he really was not qualified.

This qualification was not about talent but about character.

However, Little Fifth possessed excellent talent and character, making him worthy of the title of Yu Zi Yu’s Fifth Beast.

Speaking of which, while Old Third–– White Tiger seemed silly, he never takes fighting lightly.

As the King of Beasts, he had his own pride. Due to this pride, he was unwilling to fall behind others. He not only kept up with his daily cultivating, but he also showed signs of doubling his efforts.

As for occasionally catching butterflies, it was just his nature and could not be changed.

After all, he is a member of the Cat family. When not lacking food, his behavior was not much different from a domestic Cat; he liked to play with moving objects and was very curious.

When he first saw Little Fifth, he could not help but size him up.

He even wanted to play with him.

However, unfortunately, the current White Tiger seemed to be seriously depressed. He lay on the ground alone, using his Tiger claws to repeatedly write the word ‘Human’ on the ground.
