Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 334 Pink Roses

”Ahhhh… that was no one, Ross. Just someone who wants to pass the time because heʼs bored. Itʼs harmless talk, I swear!” Jessicaʼs lips trembled.

”I donʼt doubt you, Jessica,” Ross replied, his voice calm but unnervingly firm. ”But Iʼm curious about your friend. Iʼd like to know him better too. Invite him over tomorrow—Iʼd love to meet him. Make it happen.”

Though his tone seemed casual, Jessica couldnʼt shake the weight of his words. It felt more like an order than a request. She wanted to argue, to defend herself further, but a terrifying pressure suddenly bore down on her. Her chest tightened, and she struggled to breathe, let alone speak.

Before she could gather herself, Rossʼs final words sliced through the suffocating silence:

”Or have you forgotten why youʼre here, Jessica? If you choose to fight me, I might as well pay your father a visit. Unlike Mr. Adams, I wonʼt be so merciful. You know that. Perhaps a little reminder would do you some good. What do you think?”

With that, Ross turned and walked away, heading back to join his wives. The suffocating force vanished as quickly as it had come, and Jessica collapsed against the wall, gasping for air.

”Hahhhh… Hahhhh… Hahhhh…”

She gulped down deep breaths, her mind racing to process what had just happened. One thing became crystal clear in the aftermath—Ross was a dangerously jealous man.

Kevin ascended to the upper deck of the cruise ship, hoping to catch a glimpse of Jessica. Disappointment weighed on him when she was nowhere to be found.

Left with little else to do, he sought out breakfast and ate alone, the clatter of utensils on plates his only company.

”Kevin, are you free today?” a familiar voice called from behind him. He turned quickly, hastily wiping his mouth.

There she was, Jessica, looking breathtaking in a white maxi dress adorned with red and pink roses. The floral pattern was interspersed with darker blooms and leafy accents.

The dress, with its V-neckline, fitted bodice, and slightly flared skirt, had a thigh-high slit that revealed a hint of her leg as she walked.

The lightweight fabric swayed elegantly with her movements, and she paired it with nude-colored heeled sandals.

Despite its flowing design, the dress subtly accentuated her curves, capturing Kevinʼs attention in a way he struggled to mask. Discover stories at My Virtual Library Empire

His eyes momentarily lingered on her big huge amazing bosom before he gulped, flustered by his own desire.

They had only been strangers a few days ago, but after spending hours in conversation, Kevin felt emboldened—like he was beginning to understand the enigma that was Jessica.

”Anything for a goddess,” he replied with a playful grin, standing up and executing an exaggerated bow. ”Point me where, and I shall go to war for you.”

He hoped the gesture would earn a laugh, or at least a smile, but Jessicaʼs expression remained uncharacteristically somber. Her lips pressed into a thin line, and her eyes betrayed a hint of unease.

Kevin straightened, his playful demeanor shifting to concern.

”Whatʼs wrong? What happened?” he asked, his voice tinged with worry.

”Nothing,” she said quietly, her gaze flickering away. ”I just need you to follow me.” Without another word, she turned and began walking, leaving Kevin to scramble after her.

His heart raced, not just from the pace but from the unspoken tension in the air. He followed her like a moth drawn to flame, unable to resist her pull.

The hero complex within him stirred, urging him to help even without understanding the situation.

Yet, he couldnʼt have foreseen how this moment—this encounter with fate—would unravel his carefully constructed life and lead him down a path of chaos and transformation.

Two minutes into the silent walk, they arrived at a large, opulent cabin nestled amidst the dense woods. The warm glow of golden light spilled from the windows, illuminating the clearing outside.

Inside, the space was nothing short of extravagant. A massive table dominated the center, laden with a feast that could rival a royal banquet.

Platters of steaming meat, freshly baked bread, exotic fruits, and fine wines crowded the surface.

Yet, despite the grandeur, the cabin had an eerie emptiness, for there was only one occupant in this massive space.

The man lounged casually in a high-backed chair, his presence radiating arrogance and power. His face was unmistakable, known far and wide thanks to his media exploits.

Lately, he had become the talk of the social medias—and beyond—after pulling off his latest outrageous stunt: marrying twelve stunningly beautiful women in a single day.

His name was Ross Oakley, a figure both idolized and despised.

As Kevin stepped inside, his stomach churned. He couldnʼt help but feel the air shift, growing heavier under the weight of Rossʼs presence.

”I know you…” Kevin finally spoke, his voice tense, his gaze sharp.

”Donʼt tell me Jessica is also one of your…” The words stuck in his throat, the thought too unbearable to complete.

The idea of the kind-hearted, radiant Jessica being ensnared by this infamous playboy felt like a dagger piercing his chest.

Ross smirked, his lips curling into a predatory grin. He rose from his chair with deliberate slowness, each movement exuding confidence and disdain.

”Indeed, she is,” he said, his voice dripping with mockery.

”Sheʼs mine. One of my women. One of my bitches.” He let the word hang in the air, savoring Kevinʼs visible discomfort.

”I own her. And yet,” he added with a casual shrug, ”she still doesnʼt quite act the part. But she will, in time.”

Kevinʼs fists clenched at his sides, his jaw tightening. The audacity of Rossʼs words ignited a fire in his chest, but he bit back his rage, knowing this man thrived on provoking others.

”But letʼs talk about you,” Ross said, his tone suddenly sharp and commanding.

”I hear you have a thing for Jessica. I hear you fancy yourself a hero, swooping in to rescue the damsel from the big, bad villain. Isnʼt that right?”

Kevinʼs eyes narrowed.

”What are you getting at?”

Ross chuckled darkly, walking toward the table and pouring himself a glass of wine. He swirled it idly before taking a sip, then set it down with a deliberate clink.

”Iʼm proposing a bet,” he said, his smirk returning.

”If you win, Jessica gets her freedom. She can fall in love with whoever she wants—even you, if thatʼs what she desires.”

Kevin crossed his arms, glaring at Ross.

”And what would you get from me? I have nothing youʼd want.”

Rossʼs smirk deepened, his eyes gleaming with a mix of amusement and malice.

”Oh, but you do,” he said, his voice dropping to a low, menacing drawl.

Kevinʼs frown deepened. Every instinct screamed at him to walk away, but curiosity kept him rooted in place.

”What do you want?”

Ross took a step closer, the smirk never leaving his face. His next word was like a thunderclap, making Kevinʼs blood boil with fury and disbelief.

”Ayla.”
