Chapter 1342  Magister of Destruction! (2)

Ace was startled by the systemʼs sudden prompt and gulped dryly, ʼMagister of Destruction? And that thing is only an avatar?! Then what about the real Magister of Destruction?ʼ

He felt a sudden chill running down his spine as he looked at the majestic Magister of Destruction, hovering at a dark angle, covering everything in its towering shadow.

At this moment, the Magister of Destructionʼs colossal form suddenly shuddered, its lightning-wreathed body collapsing inward like a dying star, startling Ace.

Thereafter, its 5,000-meter frame folded, compressed and crystallized into a ten-meter-tall figure—a distillation of destruction. Every ounce of its primordial power now thrummed beneath an obsidian-carved exoskeleton, its surface etched with glowing tri-colored runes that pulsed like a heartbeat.

The shadowy aurora around it condensed into a cloak of fractured space, bleeding prismatic light. Where its wings once spanned miles, now skeletal blades of volcanic glass arched from its back, humming with resonant fury.

Its face—no longer hidden by a helmet—was a mask of cold, geometric perfection. Six eyes, each a swirling black, crimson, and silver vortex, locked onto Ace, making Aceʼs heart palpitate.

Ace hadnʼt even recovered from this sudden transformation when the Magister suddenly descended gracefully, each step shattering the air beneath its feet. Space itself peeled away in jagged ribbons, leaving trails of void that hissed like dying serpents.

Furthermore, a terrifying pressure weighs down on Ace with Magisterʼs descent, and Aceʼs body feels slightly ached for the first time after the start of this heavenly punishment.

The ground beneath him liquefied, then hardened into glass as the Magisterʼs aura radiated outward—not as a storm, but as a singularity.

Another series of unexpected notifications rang before the pressure on him suddenly decreased, and the glyphs on Aceʼs back ignited, the black hole pattern devouring the ambient spatial fractures filled with primordial destruction.

His life swords trembled, their blades now sheathed in a mercury-like film of condensed Force; they hungered!

Ace was filled with power at this moment. He wasnʼt expecting so many surprises this time and hidden secrets in his body. Nonetheless, whatever the case was, Aceʼs eyes shimmered with confidence as he looked at the Magister of Destruction, and his fear vanished.

Although he admits if it werenʼt for these sudden boots, he wouldʼve probably died with just the Magisterʼs pressure, much less fighting him. But now, he could sense his prowess was significantly increased because of Magisterʼs primordial law. The Magister seemed to sense the changes in Ace, and its abyss-like eyes ignited with terrifying destruction, and a metallic sound reverberated, ”T.H.I.E.F…”

Ace was astounded because this was his first time seeing a Heavenʼs Terminate Manifestation speaking, and on top of that, he said those words in a language almost similar to the Language of Ancient Gods.

Although this language wasnʼt the same, it felt very close to the Language of Ancient Gods.

However, Ace didnʼt have time to mull over it because the Magister suddenly vanished, leaving behind fractured space, and the next moment, he felt a sharp sense reaching towards the back of his neck.

Ace instinctively reacted, moving his short sword using terrifying speed with force and thereafter, ʼclang…zap…ʼ

A deep sound of metal clashing together reverberated in the vicinity before sounds of light bolts striking overcame, and a torrent of shockwaves filled with destruction, lightning, and darkness started to rampage, destroying everything in their path, even space collapse!

The entire ancient remnant was leveled, leaving behind barren, charred lands filled with space tears. In the center of this destruction, Ace and Magister stood while locking blades with each other. Aceʼs eyes were icy cold as blood trickled from his nose, and the Magisterʼs gaze alone pressured his very soul, yet Ace didnʼt flatter. Even though this attack rattled his entire body, his injuries were healing at a terrifying rate with force.

Although the Magister was powerful enough to even Ascension Lords, for Ace, the Magisterʼs power also increased his strength. It was all because of the Universal Black Ascension Physique!

However, the Magister didnʼt seem surprised by Ace blocking his attack, and without wasting any time, he stabbed his blade-like arm toward Aceʼs heart. On top of that, threads of tri-colored light—thinner than silk suddenly shot out from the Magisterʼs body and shot toward Ace!

Ace knew things were going south, and without hesitation, he performed the Sword of Mortal Heart with his long sword and angled his short sword directly toward the Magisterʼs neck!

The next moment, sword Qi filled with force, blasted through Aceʼs swords, slicing through those threats, and the Magister was sent flying while trying to get rid of Aceʼs sword of Mortal Heart, releasing terrifying heavenly punishment lightning.

ʼNo wonder this technique is called the Heaven Sundering Sword…ʼ A hint of ecstasy flashed past Aceʼs eyes as he noticed how effective the Heaven Sundering Sword was against Heaven.

After all, the Heaven Sundering Sword contained Aceʼs will of defiance, and the stronger this will, the stronger the Heaven Sundering Sword, especially if he adds the Darkness Orderʼs sword intent used with Force!

This time, he didnʼt wait for the Magister to recover and attack again, and taking this chance, he instantly performed, ”The Eclipse of Heaven Blade!” He roared, terrifying darkness released from his sword, cutting everything in its path, and directly headed towards the Magister who was about to dissipate the Sword of Mortal Heart; the next attack instantly landed on him, creating a chaotic void of energies!

Aceʼs eyes were fixed on the chaotic void before him, where the Eclipse of Heaven Blade had sliced through the very fabric of existence with the Magister at its center.

The devastating crescent of destruction gradually dispersed, leaving behind only shimmering remnants of space distortions. A cold, grim look settled on Aceʼs face as he steadied his breathing, his heart still pounding from the sheer force required to unleash that attack.

Yet, his instincts screamed at him—it wasnʼt over!

At this moment, from within the fractured space, an eerie, translucent figure began to take form. It was the Magister, but his once imposing presence was now reduced to a ghostly silhouette. His energy wings were tattered and barely seemed to cling to his almost ethereal frame. Portions of his body flickered, struggling to maintain shape, and his face was misty.

Aceʼs gaze sharpened, ʼHeʼs barely hanging on… but heʼs still dangerous!ʼ

Indeed, the Magisterʼs current state was precarious. His body was translucent, evidence of his powerʼs instability. Yet, within that fragility, a terrifying force gathered—a force that made the air tremble.

”Still struggling?” Aceʼs cold manner was unwavering.

But he was slightly anxious because the exhaustion gnawed at him, his chest heaving as he struggled to maintain his posture. The Eclipse of Heaven Blade had drained him more than he anticipated, and even with the terrifying recovery rate, it didnʼt seem enough.

The Magisterʼs body glimmered with malice as if it wanted to take Ace down. Without warning, the void quivered, and an ominous aura spread from the Magister, warping the surrounding space.

Aceʼs pupils contracted, ʼPure power of Law of Destruction, and itʼs filled with primordial might…ʼ

At this moment, the Magisterʼs translucent form flickered violently as he raised his hand. The space itself seemed to bend, spiraling into a vortex of annihilation.

A colossal wave of destructive force surged toward Ace, devouring everything in its path. The ground beneath it disintegrated, leaving behind only the abyss. It was as if existence itself was being erased.

Ace gritted his teeth, his body screaming in protest. But he clenched his fists, feeling his depleted reserves. There was no time to hesitate. If that wave hit him, he might really be obliterated.

ʼNo choice…ʼ

Summoning the last of his strength, Aceʼs eyes burned with defiance. He tapped into his Primordial Qi, feeling the primordial power surge through him. It was raw, unrefined compared to his Darkness Force, but potent nonetheless. He raised his sword, the blade vibrating with anticipation.

”Eclipse of Heaven Blade!” Ace roared once more, his voice shaking the heavens.

This time, the crescent was different—pale and luminous, lacking the profound darkness from before. It was the pure embodiment of the swordʼs Law, forged with Primordial Qi. It collided head-on with the Magisterʼs wave of destruction.

BOOM!

The explosion was cataclysmic. Waves of primordial energy rippled outward, tearing apart the landscape.

Ace felt his body strain, every muscle screaming in agony as the two forces battled for supremacy. The pale crescent was slowly overwhelmed, the destructive wave pressing forward.

Aceʼs face paled, ʼItʼs not enough…!ʼ
