Eternal Thief

Chapter 1304 Violent when Shy!

The Grandfather looked between his ferocious granddaughter and then Ace, who was hiding behind him, with a pitiful expression on his face. He had never imagined that this trip to persuade his stubborn granddaughter would take such a dramatic turn. Furthermore, he found it quite amusing since it was his first time seeing his as stubborn as a mule of a granddaughter this frustrated, which was normally his role, and he felt great!

So, whether Ace was telling the truth or not, he had an excellent impression of this courageous young man who dared to tease his granddaughter and wasnʼt afraid of unleashing hell upon himself.

Thatʼs why the moment Zaria acted to grab Ace, he cleared his throat, and an invisible pressure suddenly enveloped Ace. Zariaʼs claw-like palm was inches away from Ace in the air before it was stuck.

Ace was sweating when he saw that claw and couldnʼt help but curse Zaria for being so violent as she directly attacked him. Although she didnʼt use any spirit Qi, he could feel the terrifying power behind it.

But seeing it getting blocked, he had a sigh of relief and became even more confident that he had played it right. Furthermore, he didnʼt even see the old man making any move, yet he blocked Zariaʼs claw without any effort, which means this grandfatherʼs cultivation realm was unfathomable.

Zaria was also startled when she failed to reach Ace, and she instantly looked at her Grandfather, her eyes almost on fire; she barked, ”Falcon! Are you really going to protect this Pervy Deviant?!”

The Grandfather or Falcon cleared his throat again as he hid his delight seeing Zaria so worked up and quickly said in a gentle tone, ”Dear Granddaughter, thereʼs no need to be shy. Donʼt worry, I wonʼt interfere with your love life. In fact, I like this valiant young man for coming clean and telling me about your ʼfortuitous encounter.”

”Fortuitous encounter my foot!” Zaria screamed as she stomped her feet and looked at Falcon with disbelief.

She had never imagined Ace would pull something like this on her; usually, it was her who bullied others, but now, all of a sudden, the tables have turned. She wasnʼt frustrated about Ace claiming him as her lover; she was furious about him doing it in front of Falcon and humiliating her.

Furthermore, Falcon even believed him, which left her reeling in frustration, and she even had a feeling he was doing it on purpose.

She furiously glared at Ace before she took a deep breath to calm down and back down, ʼIs he doing this so I could let him leave?” She suddenly thought, and her eyes flashed with a cold glint.

All of a sudden, she pulled an icy cold smile as she glanced at Ace before she looked at Falcon and said, ”Alright, since cats are out of the bag, I admit what he told is truth. Now you know that we are ʼlovers,ʼ alright? But this has nothing to do with you, and itʼs between me and my ʼboyfriend, so leave!”

”This cut-throat woman is too difficult to deal with!” Ace cursed as he wasnʼt expecting Zaria to regain her wits so quickly and even turn the tables on him.

Ace quickly spoke, looking at Falcon with a fearful expression, ”No!

Grandfather-in-law, you must take me with you! Sheʼs going to beat me up, black and blue. Sheʼs simply too violent when sheʼs shy! Iʼll come back when her temper cools down a little!”

Falcon was even more shocked since Aceʼs claim and Zariaʼs admitted it was two different things, and he looked at Ace again.

I had to admit that this human did have some looks that were almost like me when I was his age. Furthermore, he gives a strange aura that makes even my bloodline stir, and thatʼs because he is still weak. I donʼt know if itʼs become more powerful with his cultivation base. Itʼs almost like he has authority over my bloodline... Where did she find him?”

Although Zariaʼs predicament amused him, he wasnʼt an idiot, and with a terrifying cultivation base, he could sense more things than Zaria. Thatʼs why he instantly noticed Ace when he sensed his own bloodline stirring.

”Ahem...” He cleared his throat again since Aceʼs aura wasnʼt the main topic now, and hearing Aceʼs words, he wanted to chuckle but control himself.

He looked at Zaria, who was gritting her teeth hard after hearing Aceʼs absurd words. He really wanted to beat him up!

He said, ”Sigh... I never expected you would find love one day; Iʼm really happy for you. Although his strength is on the weak side, he has the courage to step forward and take responsibility...”

”Like hell, you, Stinky Old Perv! Just leave and let ʼusʼ sort out things between ourselves!” She directly cut him in his speech.

ʼSheʼs going to beat him up! Falcon knew Zaria more than anyone, and he knew if he left Ace here, he was going to suffer today for telling the ʼtruth! He even wonders how they ended up together.

”No!” Ace quickly chimed in, ”Grandfather-in-law, if you leave me here, Iʼm going to lose my poor little life today! You donʼt know, but little Zaria is even fiercer when sheʼs shy and overprotective! Ask little Leah; she would tell you how she confided me here because a woman glanced at me the wrong way!”

He then looked at a flabbergasted Zaria and said with a pained smile, ”Look, little Zaria, I know you love me, but you canʼt be violent. I only have you in my heart, and when Iʼm strong enough to endure your ʼtough love, Iʼll come back!”

Falcon was speechless as he looked at Ace strangely. It was his first time hearing such a thing, and no matter how he saw it, Ace seemed like someone who wanted to escape from the clutches of the devil. But when he considered Zariaʼs personality, he couldnʼt find fault with his situation.

At this moment, Leah, who was watching everything with great relish, suddenly blinked when her name was mentioned. Furthermore, when she heard Ace wanted to leave, she panicked a little and quickly shouted, ”Badass Ace, are you going to leave?” ʼWait... did she just call me by his name? Impossible, unless Zaria told her to, she would never call someone by their name! Falconʼs eyes widened a little, and a profound glint flashed as he looked at Leahʼs anxious expression.

Zariaʼs eyes instantly lit up when she heard Leahʼs words, and she looked at Ace, whose face fell slightly. She smiled coldly and quickly added, ”See! Even Leah is too attached to him. If you take him, sheʼll cry and blame you! You know I care about Leah, right? So, I wonʼt do anything which makes her sad. Iʼm only going to show this scoundrel some ʼtough loveʼ for his revealing our ʼrelationshipʼ without my

permission!”

Ace had a grim look on his face since he could tell his plan had failed, and it was about to backfire as he looked at Falconʼs thoughtful expression.

Falcon looked at Ace, sighed as he stepped aside, and said helplessly, ”Look, young man, Ace, I like your honesty. But this matter is between the both of you. So, forgive me, my hands are tied. However, you have my approval. Just stay strong, alright? Iʼll come again to check on you; hang in there!”

Before Ace could say anything, Falcon flashed a gentle smile towards Leah and quickly vanished from his spot. Although this visit didnʼt bore any fruit like always, he still found something exciting.

Ace looked blanking at the spot where Falcon had vanished and all of a sudden a chill run down his spine as he felt the temperature of the shop sharply decreasing, it was like he was locked by a bloodthirsty beast.

He quickly looked at Zaria, who was glaring at him with an icy smile as if a cat. watching a corner mouse.

He smiled stiffly as he started to back up, ”I-itʼs all just a misunderstanding, Boss!”

Zaria scoffed as she shook her head and started to cup her fists, making gruesome cracking sounds, ”No, no, no, we are lovers after all, so let me give you some tough love that you will never forget!”

Ace felt like crying as he looked at Leah, who was watching everything with shining eyes, and promptly cried for help, ”Leah, save your Badass Ace!”

That day, the streets where the Feline Alchemy Shop was locked were filled with wailing schemes and powerful shockwaves, adding another legend to the Big Boss Zariaʼs gruesome tales!
