Emperor’s Domination

“Why are you on this side if you think he will win?” Phoenix Queen asked Golden Law.

“I am different. You all seek everlasting life but what I want is balance and judgment in this murky world. Before a better guiding principle appears, I believe the high heaven must exist. The laws of the high heaven are the best we have and cannot be overthrown.” He stared at Li Qiye and said.

“How admirable, we cannot compare to you then.” Heavenfall said.

“When imprisoned, one will first try to resist and crash against the wall. Slowly, the prisoners become accustomed to its existence, even leaning against the wall and relying on it, feeling a sense of security.” Li Qiye smiled.

“You are correct, Sir.” Golden Law admitted: “I don’t have the same decisiveness as you, or in other words, my dao heart isn’t firm enough, so my dao stops here, how shameful.”

“Do you believe you can stop me?” Li Qiye didn’t mind.

“My shallow cultivation makes me an insect before you.” Golden Law said before taking out the scale: “But you made this capable enough to judge you, right?”

“We leave this to you.” Phoenix Queen and the others immediately backed off, not trusting the scale.

“Yes, I have carried out my promise.” Li Qiye smiled.

“So it can judge you as well?” Golden Law asked.

“Depends on the underlying principle.” Li Qiye said.

“The balance must be maintained, anyone who disrupts the balance must be judged.” Golden Law said firmly.

“Then yes, it can judge me, a true immortal.” Li Qiye nodded.

“That is all I need to hear, Sir.” Golden Law unleashed the scale and said: “Please accept your judgment!”

The scale unleashed golden light and sweeped Li Qiye onto one end of the scale. It hovered in the air with two sides.

When both sides were empty, no one was allowed to break the perfect balance. Once judged, the target would be placed on one side. The other side would conjure a being capable of delivering judgment.

Overwhelming this being meant the scale would tip in the target’s favor, granting them freedom. On the other hand, losing meant death.

Lastly, a perfect balance due to being equally matched meant being trapped in the scale forever.

Prior to this, Golden Law was responsible for delivering judgment. Now, after Li Qiye’s blessing, Li Qiye was responsible for this task.

Thus, an identical Li Qiye appeared on the other end of the scale, creating an equilibrium.

“Sir, I apologize for taking advantage of our deal.” Golden Law heaved a sigh of relief since the true Li Qiye couldn’t overwhelm his copy.

“What a clever idea, letting the self judge. There won’t ever be a clear victor.” Genesis praised.

He had never seen Li Qiye’s outcome before, only aiming for his key scene. Perhaps he didn’t need to move toward it at all since Li Qiye was trapped.

“Finish this, the sooner the better. Fellow Daoists, be ready!” Phoenix Queen said, releasing tribulation bolts.

Her allies shouted and protected their true fate, fully channeling their powers. They then connected with Phoenix Queen, allowing lightning bolts to course through them.

The bolts multiplied immediately, akin to grass being nourished with incredible worldly essences.

Oceans of bolts formed around them in the blink of an eye to the defenders’ dismay.

Earlier, Duality Master had stopped the bolts descending from above. Now, these bolt oceans were already in the mortal world.

“We have to kill them now or the oceans will grow to be as strong as the real thing!” Origin Heaven Emperor shouted.

If they allowed further accumulation, nothing would be able to stop the eruption from destroying Heavenrealm.
