Emperor’s Domination

She was right since Heavenly Crane was the creator of Isles of Evil. Although he was far from the strongest in Old World, this region stood strong despite having many enemies.

There existed a great fortune here originating from Immortal-seek Peak, the source of everything. Staff Ancestor’s strike should have killed him.

After all, she was a supreme overlord and no primal ancestor could survive. However, his soul remained and still controlled the isles.

Because of this fortune, the other eight villains never tried to rebel. They understood he was still in charge.

“Immortal-seek Peak.” Li Qiye smiled.

She pointed over yonder - a peak hidden by clouds. It seemed to be the highest point.

“Over there, he never appeared in public again so others think his soul is bound there.” She said: “But there are ripples every once in a while, he might be trying to find a way to become independent.”

A primal ancestor would never want to be stuck in one place forever. Therefore, his seclusion was only in name.

“Immortal-seek is a nice name but it’s not the source of this region.” He smiled.

“What is it then?” This answer surprised her.

“Surviving one blow was expected because this peak came from the abyss. A stone came out of it once.” He said.

“An immortal stone?” She asked.

“That would be an exaggeration, but it has the potential to become a supreme overlord given enough time.” He said.

“A stone capable of becoming an overlord.” She shuddered. Having the word “immortal” in its name was reasonable since a stone from it could become an overlord.

“Nevertheless, it’s not the thing uniting this sea and islands.” He continued.

“What is it?” She searched all the islands before and none was particularly special outside of Immortal-seek.

Everyone else shared the same belief and coveted Immortal-seek. However, they didn’t dare to do anything since Heavenly Crane was too strong.

Now, was there a bigger fortune hiding among Isles of Evil?

“There.” He waved his hand to chase the fog and clouds, pointing at the sky.

Many rocks were suspended in the air. Perhaps they were shattered during the calamity and sent down just like the other peaks.

Li Qiye pointed at a massive stone slab - flat and unimpressive. It was inconspicuous among the bunch, neither a divine metal nor a special ore.

“That’s the core of our isles?” She couldn’t believe it.

She herself had landed there many times without noticing anything special. How could it be the core instead of Immortal-seek?

“It is a ballast stone.” He said.

“For what?” She asked.

“For Eternal Abyss.” He revealed.

“Y-you mean you sat on it back then, Young Noble?” She recalled the image of a figure turning his back in her mind.

The legend spoke of an immortal purifying a boundless abyss. In her mind, she saw the image of him meditating on a rock and leaving behind an indelible will. She obtained a sliver of light - an illuminating symbol of hope.

However, how did the abyss turn into Isles of Evil?

“The abyss became our isles? What happened?” She asked.

“Look down there.” He pointed at the ocean beneath.

Their isles resembled a crystal and there was an ocean beneath, wanting to overlap with them.

“Imperial League.” She knew what it was.

The league was immobile while they were always on the move.
