Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 653 653:- Last

Cough....!!!

As he coughed weakly, blood trickled down from the corner of his mouth. Aditya weakly opened his eyes and saw the Hydra staring at him. ʼThis is my last chance....!!ʼ 『Dragon Monarchʼs Domain!!』

Lara was already crying seeing Aditya like this. Unlike others, she was very inexperienced and this was the fight time she had seen Aditya fight. Seeing her man in such a state, she just could not control her tears. ”We will have to help Aditya...!!” Riya urgently said. Swoosh...!!!

However, the next second, they all saw a red light moving towards the Hydra at super speed. The red light was so fast that even Riya and other Mid-5th-order cultivators were having a hard time following. Only the Peak 5th-order cultivators were able to get a glimpse of the red light. As for others, everything just happened too fast for their minds. Their eyes werenʼt even fast enough to see what happened just now. As Aditya charged towards the Hydra at his full speed, he summoned his Adamantite Doomblade. He changed the size of the sword and made it 10 times bigger than before. At the same time, he was completely covered in a ball of Crimson flames. Seeing how fast Aditya was approaching it, the Hydra hurriedly constructed a circular transparent mana shield around its gigantic body whatever leftover Mana he had in his body. Booom.....!!!

However, the Mana shield did not even last a second upon impact. The shield completely shattered. Bang....!!!!!

”Whatʼs that.....?” Lilith quickly pointed out. Everyone was stunned to their cores to find a 200-meter hole in the middle of the Hydraʼs body. The hole was made in the Hydraʼs heart. Aditya had completely destroyed the Hydraʼs heart in one body. Adityaʼs whole body was covered in blood. It was the blood of the Hydra. However, within a few seconds, all of the blood covering him quickly evaporated. The Hydra did not roar. It looked back and stared at Aditya in a mix of shock and fear. It never expected that this Dragon would be powerful enough to make a hole in its heart. The Hydra also realized that its opponentʼs Aura had now become many times stronger than before. The next second, even though the Hydra was unwilling, 4 of its heads turned into golden light. Then the golden light was absorbed by the Hydraʼs body. The hole in the Hydraʼs chest closed within a second. A new heart was constructed for the Hydra at the cost of using Forbidden Sacrifice.

Seeing this Aditya smiled. At that moment, the Hydra understood that it could not defeat this Dragon. While fighting him, The Hydra was forced to use Forbidden Sacrifice 3 times now. For the first time since this Hydra had reached Peak 5th-order, it felt fear from an opponent. The Hydra had understood that if it stayed in this place for any longer, then it was going to be killed. Despite being so strong, the Hydra was very afraid of death. Revenge can be taken later; only if it manages to survive today. With such thoughts, the Hydra created another massive portal in the sky. The portal was easily over 2000 meters big. The Hydra was about to flee but how could Aditya let that happen? Aditya had been seriously injured by this Hydra today. Now that Aditya had the chance to kill this Hydra, he wasnʼt going to let go of such a golden opportunity. If he lets go of such a golden opportunity now, then who knows when he will find this Hydra? Maybe the next time they meet, the Hydra will be even stronger and might be able to kill Aditya.

Or maybe to get revenge on Aditya, this Hydra might randomly start attacking various parts of the Istarin Empire. It was very possible that this Hydra might decide to do something like this. After all, being a Peak 5th-order Magic Animal, this Hydra had the intelligence of an adult human. The Hydra was capable of intelligent decisions. During their fights, Aditya had seen that happening. The Hydra was capable of deciding what was good and what was bad for it. So letting off this Hydra was not an option. Aditya was determined to end everything. ”Where do you think....youʼre going...?” This time, Aditya turned into a bolt of Crimson lightning and chased after the Hydra. Aditya appeared in front of the Hydra.

Seeing Aditya, the Hydra roared at Aditya. Aditya could feel the anger and frustration in its roar. Aditya charged towards the Hydra at his full speed. He only had less than 3 seconds left before Dragon Monarchʼs Domain was deactivated. When that happens, Aditya wonʼt be able to fight anymore. He would lose consciousness and faint. From the ground, everyone saw, a giant black sword appearing in Adityaʼs hand. Using that giant black sword, he began slashing the Hydra. He was attacking so fast, that he was leaving afterimages behind. Grrraaaooowwwl!!!!!

The Hydra roared...more like screamed out in pain one last time before Aditya completely cut its body into thousands of pieces. 『Ding!! You have killed a Peak 5th-order cultivator. You have obtained experience points. Your experience points have been saved.』

The next second, all the severed body pieces of the Hydra began falling to the ground. But everyone ignored the falling body pieces of the Hydra. Instead, they stared at the future who was standing in the sky, alone. Looking at Adityaʼs figure, everyoneʼs hearts were beating loudly. Before today they had never seen something like this. Today, the Istarin Emperor has just shown the world just how strong he is. 『Ding!! Dragon Monarchʼs Domain has been deactivated. As a consequence of using ʼDragon Monarchʼs Domainʼ, the host will lose consciousness.』

The next second, Adityaʼs eyes rolled back and he also started falling towards the ground. Bang....!!!!

The Dragon Monarchʼs body fell 10 km away south of the Dragon Palace. His huge body fell on a small mountain. Falling from such a distance wouldnʼt hurt Aditya that much given he was a cultivator. Sasha was the first one to arrive. As the Goddess of Lust, she always has been the one who took lives. But this was the first time, she had been so worried about her life. This wasnʼt just any soul that she had been worried about. This was the life of her partner.

If anything happened to him, she wonʼt know what she would do. So the first thing that she checked after arriving was his condition. Noticing that he was still breathing, the Goddess felt a massive weight had been lifted from her whole body. While arriving, she was so nervous because she felt Adityaʼs Aura was getting weaker and weaker with each passing second. She even feared that she wouldnʼt be able to make it in time. When she arrived, she noticed that the Crimson flame that constantly burned at the end of his tail was getting smaller and smaller. It had reached a point where it looked like even a small wind blow would be enough to extinguish the Crimson flame. ”No.....!! Please donʼt die....!!!” Tears formed in her eyes as she noticed this. Sasha quickly took out all the healing potions that she had with her. Without wasting a second, she carefully fed him all the healing potions. Sasha let out a sigh of relief when she noticed the Crimson flame on the tip of his tail grow a little bit. The change was so small that she almost didnʼt notice it. Sasha then quickly began inspecting the wounds on his body. The more she looked, the more shaken she became. From that beam attack, Adityaʼs entire body was burned badly. There was a massive hole in his left wing. There was also another big wound on his face. The flesh on his cheek was missing and the white bones that were under his flesh were exposed. The scene was really scary.

However, the Goddess did not feel any fear or disgust. She just felt sad that Aditya was so seriously injured because he was protecting everyone. ”Sasha, how is he?” Amelia was the second one to arrive. Sasha was the fastest among everyone else. Amelia was the second fastest. Riya and Lilith werenʼt so far behind. ”Not good.....!!!” Sasha did not look at Amelia. She was kneeling beside his giant body.

Aditya was still in his Dragon form. Because of all the injuries that he received, he was unable to transform back to his human form. Instead, she gently stroked his burned body.

She wasnʼt disgusted by this. ”I have fed him some 5-star healing potions which seem to have stabilized his condition a little bit.” Hearing this Amelia nodded her head without saying a word.

This was the first time she had seen Aditya in such a bad condition. Her heart ached to see this sight. ʼIf he hadnʼt saved me then he wouldnʼt have gotten injured in the first place.ʼ While trying to save Aditya, he received the first major injury since the start of the battle. ʼI really wish I was strong enough to help him even a little bit.ʼ Amelia tightly clenched at fists. She was getting her teeth in frustration. Despite being a Peak 5th-order cultivator, Amelia felt the strength that she had wasnʼt enough. This was the first time in her life she had ever felt so useless. She felt pathetic. Swoosh.....!!!

Lilith and Riya appeared at the same time. Riya did not waste a single second. Even though she was currently low on mana because she had used most of her Mana earlier, she still used whatever Mana she had left in her to heal Aditya. Others might not realize it, but the Goddess of Nature could tell that Aditya was very close to dying. Fortunately, Sasha had arrived just in time and had fed him those 5-star healing potions. Riya used most of her remaining Mana to heal Aditya. Her healing helped his burned skin get a bit better. Now, his skin wasnʼt as black as it was before. This change happened because his whole body was completely burned and turned black. Thanks to her, his skin was starting to look a little more normal again.

Seeing this Lilith sighed in relief. Although she tried to remain strong in front of others, inside her heart had been trembling. ”I have done whatever I could with my current Mana. To increase his healing speed, we will need to take him back to the Dragon Palace.” Although Aditya never told anyone but as the Goddess of Nature, Riya could tell the benefits that a Dragon received being inside the Dragon Palace. As long as Aditya is inside the Dragon Palace, then his healing speed will increase by 120%. Aditya will be able to heal and recover a lot quicker. ”Mom....!!!” Amelia nodded her head.

The next second, Adityaʼs entire body began flying. Amelia was using her wind magic. Amelia was an expert at using Wind and Earth Elements. -

Scene change______

As soon as Aditya was taken back to the Dragon Palace, the news of the Dragon Monarch being seriously injured was immediately suppressed by the orders of Prime Minister Spencer. The Imperial troops made sure to spread the word that the Dragon Monarch was currently resting inside the Dragon Monarch. Spencer did not want the news of the Dragon Monarch being seriously injured from fighting Hydra to spread out; especially to the enemies of the Istarin Empire. Who knows, the Empireʼs enemies might use this chance to launch a full-scale invasion. Or some unexpected situations might arise if the news gets leaked. Hence, the news was suppressed. Only the members of the Royal Family, close relatives, Generals, and a few top nobles of the Istarin Empire knew what really had happened. While Aditya was out of commission, Spencer took full charge and handled everything perfectly.

While Aditya was out of commission, Spencer took full charge and handled everything perfectly.

Firstly, all the people who had been evacuated to other cities had been brought back to Azure City. With the Imperial troops, the chaos within the city was very quickly taken care of. The public was relieved to know that their Emperor had defeated the powerful Hydra. Next, Spencer sent another batch of Imperial Troops to provide aid and healing potions to those who were injured or on the verge of death. After all, thousands upon thousands of people outside of Azure City, who mostly lived in nearby villages were injured. It was unfortunate but many citizens also died. The death number was less than 10,000. Thirdly, Spencer also sent another batch of Imperial Troops to collect all the body pieces of the Hydra. He made sure no one was able to steal not a single piece of the Hydra. As for what to do with these body pieces, it will be decided later, once Aditya wakes up. At least, for now, the aftermath of the whole chaotic situation had been dealt with.
