Dragon Monarch System

”Aditya, this should be your last option. But if you really have to go, you should go and seek your Grandfather.”

”He is still alive?” He was surprised.

”Of course, silly!” Alen chuckled, seeing Aditya’s reaction.

”He had ruled the Empire for almost 10,000 years. When I reached maturity and got married, he decided to hand things over to me and retire. Maybe if Mom were still alive, he would have stuck around. But without mom, he became lonely. But still, once in a few decades, he used to visit us in secret.”

”If you do visit that place, then whoever tries to stop you, tell them that you are my son. My name should be enough for them to let you pass.” He silently nodded. This meeting with his parents turned out to be more valuable than he initially thought.

”Then why is the Dragon Mountain Range considered so dangerous?” Rin did not understand. Despite living in the Main Continent for so long, she had very rarely heard anyone mention the Dragon Mountain Range, much less explain why that place was so dangerous.

”Well, for starters, the entire Mountain Range is surrounded by dense purple fog. This fog can disorient your senses so much that even if you keep walking in circles, by the time you realise it, more than a few decades would have passed.” Hearing this, Rin felt a chill run down her spine.

”Even I didn’t dare go to that place until I reached Beginner 7th-order.”

”So only cultivators of the 7th order are not affected by the Purple Fog.” Alen nodded.

”According to Dad, there are cultivators who have walked in circles for hundreds of years without realising. Even after they realised it, they could not escape. Because with senses disoriented, it’s simply impossible.”

”You might be standing just 20 meters away from the outside world, but you wouldn’t know.”

Rin looked at Athena and whispered. ”That’s horrible. We should definitely stop him if he wants to go to that place.” Athena just smiled at her. For some reason, her smile felt very mysterious, but Rin could not point at it.

”What about the Goddess of War?” Aditya suddenly asked. She wasn’t part of the Celestial Dragon Empire, but the Empire she ruled shared a border with it.

”Well, having her on your side can be very beneficial. It will convince other allies of the Celestial Dragon Empire to also join your side.”

”But the reason I did not mention this option is that most allies of the Empire will choose to stay out of it and observe from outside. The only exception is the Goddess of War.” Previously, the plan was to find her and convince her to side with him. Alen’s words only made Aditya more convinced.

Her strength commanded respect and fear. Even those who doubt his strength from his low cultivation will be more willing to choose his side if he has her by his side.

”Another powerful influencing factor is the Celestial Dragon Empire’s military.” Alen then went on to explain the military’s structure. If the entire Imperial army were against Aditya, then his chances of winning this civil war would significantly decrease.

There was a total of 13 7th-order who are called National Treasures of the Celestial Dragon Empire. Each of them alone could change the tide of a battle. Facing all 13 national Treasures will be certain death. Fortunately, not all 13 National Treasures were under the Emperor’s command.

”The most important thing in this war will be how you play your cards. If you are predictable, then the Organisation will send carefully planned targeted attacks. And let’s not forget that you are no longer in the Six Continents.” Here, cultivation was not suppressed like in the Six Continents.

After hearing, Aditya fell into deep thought.

Seeing him thinking so much, Elena felt her heart ache.

”My poor child! If we could, we would come to show our full support for our son. But ever since Ren became the Emperor, we have no memories of what happened next.” At the very last, if they stood by Aditya’s side, many houses and a few of the National Treasures would take Aditya’s side without needing to be asked.

”The last thing we remember is going to sleep. I guess we never woke up.” That made sense. Once Ren felt Alen and Elena were no longer useful, he put them to deep sleep.

”It’s also possible Ren can use Uncle and Aunt against us.” Athena suddenly said.

Hearing this, Elena’s expression turned grim.

Meanwhile, Alen’s face became frosty. He tightly clenched his fists in anger.

”Is there a way to get Uncle and Aunt from the Palace and bring them to some safe place?” Rin could not help but ask.

Right now, the Former Emperor and the Empress were prisoners. It was very possible at the last moment that Ren could use them to threaten Aditya or use them against Aditya. Depending on how he uses his parents against him, it could have a devastating effect on this civil war.

”It’s just impossible.” Breaking into the Palace of the strongest Empire of the Main Continent and taking two people was just impossible. Not even a Peak 7th-order cultivator would have that much courage.

”Is there no other way?”

”Given our current situation, the answer would be no.” Athena felt that the atmosphere was becoming depressed, so she decided to change the topic.

”Dwarf Tribe Leo wanted to meet you.” She reminded everyone.

A moment later, Leo, along with a few other elders, appeared.

”You guys continue talking. I want to have a private chat, you two girls.” Respecting her wishes, Rin disappeared with Athena and Elena.

Both of them appeared in the living room of the Dragon Palace.

In front of their mother-in-law, both girls strangely felt very nervous.

’Hey, let me out. I want to meet my mother-in-law.’ Laura’s voice sounded in Athena’s mind. Athena smiled and let her out.

As soon as Laura appeared, she politely greeted Elena.

”Hello, Au...Mother. I am Laura. I am the Empress of the Deep Sea Palace.” Hearing her call Elena before anyone else, Athena and Rin exchanged glances. Both of them felt Laura was too daring. Even though they had not called Elena mother yet.

”So you are Laura!”

”Come here.” Elena pulled Laura into a hug.

Elena made her sit down next to her while wrapping her arms around her waist.

”It seems my son is really popular.” From their brief version of the story, she knew there were 6 others.

Her mind could not help but wander.

Just imagining all eight of her daughters-in-law giving birth one day made her heart race. In her thoughts, she could already see a huge group of little children running around her, calling her ”Grandmother” again and again. Some were pulling on her sleeves, some were clinging to her legs, and a few were even fighting with each other just to sit on her lap.

She imagined herself and her husband sitting together, completely surrounded by their grandchildren, barely able to move because of how many of them were climbing all over them.

The scene was so overwhelming, so full of joy and chaos at the same time, that she almost felt dizzy from excitement.

”So, did you girls plan the wedding date?” Elena asked with a hint of excitement. She was glad that her son had not held the marriage ceremony yet. This meant they would get to be part of it and enjoy every moment of his grand wedding.

All three girls looked at each other before answering, ”After the fall of the Organisation, Aditya plans to hold the wedding.”

Hearing this, Elena nodded, but in her mind, she had already gone far ahead.

She began imagining the most lavish and grand wedding ever recorded in history. In her thoughts, the entire capital was decorated from end to end, with golden lights, flowers, and banners everywhere. She even started thinking about inviting not just nobles, but rulers from different empires, just to show them what a true royal wedding looked like.

At one point, she even imagined having multiple ceremonies just so the celebrations could last for weeks.

The more she thought about it, the more her ideas kept getting bigger and more outrageous, to the point where even she almost felt like she was planning a festival instead of a wedding.

”Tell me, is there anyone else who could potentially become my daughter-in-law down the line?” Hearing this, the trio became nervous. There were already 6 women before them. They really hoped no other girls would join.

The girls had enough sisters already.

’Till now every Goddess have fallen for him. If this trend continues, I don’t see why the Goddess of War wouldn’t fall for him.’ Athena could not help but think of this possibility.

’Damn you, Aditya! Is he really the ultimate weakness of Goddesses?’

Really, thank you very much to all those who sent support with valuable golden tickets and gifts. I hope we can keep it up!!!
