Dragon Monarch System

『Ding! The system has detected a special kind of Divine Dragon Slaying Poison.』

『Ding! Within 20 seconds, the poison will spread through the mana network channels that run all over your body.』

『Ding! In 30 seconds, you will lose the ability to manipulate Mana.』

『Ding! In 60 seconds, you will lose the ability to move. You will be paralysed.』

『Ding! In 200 seconds, you will die.』

Aditya took a deep breath to calm himself and focus only on the target before him. Right now, worrying about what will happen next won’t make the situation better.

Aditya looked at the black dragon that had slowed down. He also noticed that slowly its Aura was getting weaker. It felt like watching a candle burn out.

”This is my chance.” he could not really leave the battlefield; the black dragon would destroy the city below and hundreds of thousands of people living within it.

Even less than 10 seconds was more than enough for the black dragon to destroy the entire city, given how powerful it was.

”No time to waste!!!”

Dragon Transformation!!!!!!!

Within a second, Aditya’s entire body began to change in form.

Seeing this, Lilith stopped in track.

The mysterious man stared with wide eyes. He did not dare to blink, fearing that he might miss anything.

ROARRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

After entering his Divine Crimson Dragon form, by instinct, the Dragon Monarch let out a powerful roar that shook the land and sky. The roar was so powerful that it would have killed any First Order cultivator. Fortunately, there weren’t any lower-order cultivators around him.

But his roar was heard by everyone at the Dragon Palace. As a result, while he was transforming, thousands upon thousands of Dragonians and the entire Royal Family, everyone started flying out of the Dragon Palace, or those who could not fly came to the edge of the floating Island to watch what had happened.

Aditya was in his dragon form. This was the first time he had entered his Divine Dragon form after reaching Beginner 5th-order. Lilith, from a far distance, couldn’t help but keep staring at Aditya’s Dragon form. She felt Aditya looked even more handsome in his Dragon form.

Aditya’s Dragon form was over 100 meters (328 feet) in size. He had two large, strong, and beautiful Crimson dragon wings, each stretching nearly 85 meters (279 feet) from base to tip, giving him a total wingspan of around 170 meters (558 feet) when fully spread.

His arms morphed into dragon claws. His claws were white in colour. His entire body was covered in thick Crimson red scales. His eyes were dark, and his pupils were crimson red with vertical slits in them. He had two large straight horns on top of his head.

His teeth were white and extremely large. When he breathed, small wisps of crimson flame formed near his nose. His tongue was crimson red. The ending of his tail was burning in Crimson flame.

”It’s truly an honour to see the Dragon Monarch in his Dragon form.” The Captain watched from the city walls. Not everyone was fortunate enough to see something like this.

But when Aditya did transform, it always left such a deep impression that it would never fade from their memory.

Dragon Monarch’s Domain!

Aditya did not waste a second before activating Dragon Monarch’s Domain.

Suddenly, the sky turned crimson. Within seconds, an area of almost 100 km radius was covered in dark clouds containing crimson lightning bolts.

”What’s happening?” Lilith was confused.

The mysterious member of the organisation was also confused. The only thing he could do now was observe and later add this to his report.

At that same moment, crimson lightning bolts began flickering out of his body. Every second, hundreds of them burst out in different lengths and directions, filling the surroundings with crackling energy. Each bolt carried terrifying power, strong enough to instantly kill a Peak 3rd-order cultivator. Even Beginner 4th-order cultivators would not come out unharmed if struck by one of those lightning bolts.

With a loud roar, Aditya charged at the Black Dragon.

The Black Dragon’s Aura had fallen to Beginner 6th-order, and it was still rapidly descending. At the same time, small cracks that are almost impossible to notice started appearing all over his body.

The black dragon saw a bright flash of light before Aditya disappeared from his view. The next time he saw Aditya, the Monarch’s claw went right through his stomach and came out of the back.

This attack seems to have given some clarity to the Black Dragon. Its black pupils no longer looked or appeared unfocused. It was as if, at the brink of his death, he managed to break free from the mind control of Leo and regain his consciousness.

”Why am I here?” The Black Dragon murmured before his gaze focused on the massive Crimson Dragon of his size.

The next second, he instantly regained the memories of what he did while under the control of the organisation leader.

”Aditya!!!” At this point, the cracks all over his body had grown so much that it was very visible to anyone. Even the soldiers who stood at the city walls could see that the black dragon’s body was slowly breaking apart.

He had at most a few more seconds left before his body broke apart.

”Oh!! You have regained control of your mind.” Then he looked at the wound on his stomach and just sighed.

Sigh...!!!

”But I guess it’s too late for that.”

But the black dragon shook his head. ”Soul Flare is a technique that forces a cultivator to burn their entire cultivation in exchange for forcefully briefly stepping into higher order cultivation. The organisation made me do this so that I can break the restrictions.”

”Interesting!!!” But it was a very cruel method.

”Why did Leo send you here?” Aditya asked. Even he had a few more seconds left before he permanently lost his ability to channel Mana. When that happened, he would be completely useless.

”Leo wanted to test the Istarin Empire’s defence. Anything more than that, even I have no idea.”

”The poison that is in your body was created using a few drops of divine blood that they somehow acquired.” That was the last thing that the black dragon said before his body started crumbling into small, tiny pieces. Those pieces did not even reach the ground before they disintegrated into extremely small micro pieces.

He returned to his human form. Aditya teleported in front of Lilith. Before she could say anything, both of them teleported to the Laboratory.

Before collapsing, Aditya teleported Julia and Riya, who were in the Dragon Palace, to the laboratory.

”Aditya, what happened?” Julia asked with a look of concern. Within a second, she was able to identify that he was affected by some kind of very strong poison. Since she regularly studied his body, she knew that he was immune to all normal kinds of poison. Even if any kind of poison affects him, it will take hours, if not days, to put him to bed.

”The Black Dragon, the poison was made by drops of divine blood. I suspect it was Rin’s divine Blood.” After all, the organisation that held her had contact with The League of Black Tomb. It wouldn’t be surprising for them to get drops of her divine blood.

”Just like the Black Dragon said, after 20 seconds, I can’t channel my Mana through my Mana networks. Trying to channel Mana only gives me immense pain and damages my cultivation.”

”Now, 5 seconds later, I will completely lose the ability to manipulate Mana.”

”35 seconds later, I will lose the ability to move. Meaning I will be paralysed.”

”And 200 seconds later, I will die.”

Just as he finished speaking, his face twisted. He almost let out a roar of pain. He felt his Mana Channels forcefully being blocked. The pain was almost same as feeling his cultivation being destroyed.

Seeing this, Julia, Riya, and Lilith all panicked.

”Aditya.....!!!” Lilith’s eyes turned red.

Riya looked at Julia only to find her hands shaking. Her mind was a mess now. She wasn’t thinking rationally.

”Julia, what are you waiting for? Let’s give him the potion that you made by mixing the Dragon Leaf and Nine-Leaf Spirit Orchid.”

Hearing this, she regained some calmness and quickly got to work. A few seconds later, a beautiful, rainbow colored potion was gently poured into his mouth.

Aditya was still awake but was increasingly finding it difficult to move his limbs.

He somehow raised his neck and drank the potion. He also thought that this potion would heal him, but he had overestimated the effect of the potion.

”Why isn’t it working?” Lilith asked in an annoyed tone. She almost exploded on Julia.

”It will take at least 10 seconds to work.”

But even after 15 seconds of waiting, nothing happened.

Then suddenly, Aditya’s entire body started shaking violently. The girls tried to hold him, but the next second, his head collapsed on the pillow.

Other than his pupils, which had turned purple because of the poison, he could not move anything else.

At the same time, purple colored blood began flowing out of his mouth, nose, and ears.

”Julia, the potion is not working. Do something fast.” Lilith roared at them.

Julia and Riya’s expressions turned deadly pale. Neither girl could understand why this potion had not worked.
