Dragon Monarch System

?”Felix, I have to say that I am really impressed by the different types of weapons that you have shown me on that abandoned island. In my opinion, this meeting was totally worth it.” Aditya said with a small smile on his face.

When he was told about meeting Felix, Aditya thought that Felix was another greedy merchant who wanted to sell weapons to the Istarin Empire and earn a lot of money. After all, given the huge wealth that the Empire had, it’s not surprising that merchants like Felix would want to sell their weapons to the Empire. In their eyes, the Empire was like a golden goose that could lay golden eggs.

He expected the qualities of his weapons to be very poor and not up to the standard. But it turned out Aditya was completely mistaken about Felix.

Aditya was feeling glad that he didn’t reject Felix’s request for a meeting. If he had done that, then he wouldn’t have been able to see and buy such good qualities magic cannons.

One might ask, the Istarin Empire was already a superpower without these weapons. The Empire was powerful enough to defeat any Empire on the six Continents and even had the power to defend itself against any kind of invasion or attack from any factions or sects or Empires from the Main Continent.

Yet, why the Istarin Empire was looking to strengthen itself by buying weapons?

The answer to that question was really simple. It was because the Emperor of the Istarin Empire was preparing for the future. Aditya hadn’t forgotten the warnings that were given to him by the Origin Dragon.

Aditya hadn’t forgotten about the prophecy that he learned when he visited the Majin Village back when the Istarin Empire was still fighting the Zulux Dynasty.

Aditya still hadn’t forgotten about one of the most dangerous enemies of the Istarin Empire who were the The League of the Black Tomb. Till now, Aditya knew next to nothing about this mysterious organization. But one thing he was sure of, this organization was super dangerous. Whenever members of this organization members, chaos follows them.

Because of all of these reasons, Aditya has been silently trying to strengthen the military of the Istarin Empire as much as possible. So that when his enemies attack his Empire in his absence, his Empire has the power to defend itself.

“I am deeply honored to see this from the Dragon Monarch himself.” Felix politely said while slightly bowing his head.

So far Aditya has observed a few things about Felix.

First of all, Felix is definitely super Smart. He understands geopolitics very well. He shows his smartness in his speaking and his movements. He is not overly humble or isn’t trying to please Aditya all of the time as he knows that the Emperor is always used to flattery.

Second, He has a very strong and widespread connection that he uses to gather valuable information that even the Istarin Empire is incapable of gathering.

Third, Aditya has never seen anyone who is as good as Felix at selling. He knows what he is selling.

If he is asked about certain controversial topics, rather than simply avoiding the topic, he is clever enough to speak about the topic while not giving a straight answer. This makes it extremely difficult even for Aditya to understand what kind of man Felix really is. This comes under the fourth option which is Felix is trying to be a merchant and nothing else.

He knows his boundaries very well. He knows where he should stop and where he should continue on certain topics.

Aditya observed Felix’s reaction for a few seconds before he couldn’t help but ask a question that had been on his mind for a while now.

“Felix, I have a personal question if you don’t mind me asking,” Aditya asked.

“Sure, I will try my very best to answer Your Majesty’s question,” Felix said with a smile.

“Which Empires are your clients?” Aditya knew that this was definitely a very private question. Felix might not be willing to answer this question since he is the type of merchant who doesn’t like to tangle himself with my political affairs or give him opinions on matters that could get him entangled.

“I have a lot of clients in and out of the Dying Isle Continent.” He did not specifically mention how many clients he had.

Before Aditya could ask him anything else. “I hope that Your Majesty will respect my privacy and won’t ask me about my clients. It’s a little bit uncomfortable to talk about such matters. Especially to the Emperor of the Istarin Empire.”

Aditya understood what Felix was hinting at.

“Alright.”

Even though Felix has chosen to remain quiet, Aditya already has a list of which Empires or Kingdoms were his clients. In the last 3 months, Felix has been to the Beast Continent, the Westnia, The Dying Isle Continent, and lastly The Celestial Terrain Continents. It wasn’t so hard for Aditya to guess who were his clients in those Continents.

“Moving on. I want 100 of the Arrowstorm Harbingers. I want the ones that has the capacity to shoot 200 arrows at the same time.” For now, Aditya was going to order 100 of these. He believed with these 100 Arrowstorm Harbingers, his men would be able to understand how to make these Harbingers.

Aditya was 100% certain that Percy would be able to comprehend how Arrowstorm Harbingers are made.

In the end, the Istarin Empire would have Arrowstorm Harbingers that are capable of firing 1000 arrows at the same time. This was Aditya’s goal.

“Understood.” Felix took out a paper and began writing.

“I also want 1000 of the Etherwind Slingers.” Aditya felt that the Etherwind Slingers could really come in handy so he was ordering 1000 of these. If he needed more then he was going to order more in the future. And it would be even better if the Empire understood how these Etherwind Slingers were made. So that the Empire could produce its own Etherwind Slingers.

“Understood…..!!”

“I want 100 Terraquake Blasters.” Each Terraquake Blaster had the ability to cause seismic shocks that could destabilize huge structures and enemies alike.

“I also want 100 Flameheart Artillery.” Each Flameheart Artillery had the ability to launch fireballs that exploded on impact and ignited a wide area.

“Understood, Your Majesty.” Felix finished writing before he looked at Aditya and asked. .𝒎.

“Would you like anything special? Something like a dessert?” Felix asked with a wink. He knew Aditya would understand what he meant.

“Well, I would like a few desserts.” Aditya thought why not? Since those things could be useful during certain times.

“Give me 10 of the Necrotic Orb Launchers and 10 of the Blood Pact Daggers.”

Each Necrotic Orb Launcher had the ability to launch orbs that explode into necrotic energy which causes decay and weakens enemy combat effectiveness over time by up to 20%. This curse could only be broken or lifted by a 5th Necromancer.

The Necrotic Orb Launcher needed to be fired with great care. Since misfires could be catastrophic. It could lead to potentially harming the user or allies.

Each Blood Pact Dagger had the ability to drain the enemy’s vitality and transfer a small portion of the enemy’s strength to the wielder. The main reason Aditya was buying these daggers was so that he could research these daggers and replicate this feature of these daggers.

“That would all.” Aditya was spending millions of royal gold coins each second. But he didn’t care. He could earn this amount back within a few days. Also, money wasn’t a problem for him. These things could massively help the Istarin Empire during the time of war.

“Alright.”

“Together all that would be 1.9 billion Royal gold coins.” 1.9 Billion Royal gold coins was 190 billion gold coins. Even for someone like Felix, this was a huge amount. Even Felix was secretly very excited.

“Alright.” Aditya just nodded his head without changing his expression. He wasn’t surprised that the final amount was this big.

This was the first time in his job that he saw so much money from one sale. This was the highest amount he had ever reached. Before this, the most he had ever gotten was about 1 billion royal gold coins.

But he understood that since this was a huge amount of money, without delivering all the weapons to the Istarin Empire first, he won’t be getting the money.

“Your Majesty, I hope you can understand that it is going to take a while for my company to prepare all of these weapons.”

“I understand. For now, give me whatever you have.” Aditya said.

“Alright.” Felix nodded his head.

“But one thing that I would like to make clear is that, after you have sold your weapons to the Istarin Empire, you have no right those over Weapons. The Empire gets to do whatever it wants with those weapons.” If Felix didn’t agree, then this deal was off.

“Of course. My company does not have any kind of claim on the weapons that we have sold. What those weapons are used for isn’t our concern.” Felix did not care if those weapons were used to kill innocent people. He did not care if millions died because of his weapons. What mattered to him was his profits.

And Aditya understood this part. It wasn’t just Felix, every merchant like Felix was the same.

“It was nice doing business with you, Your Majesty.” Aditya just nodded his head.

But while all of this was happening, something strange was happening in the prison of the Istarin Empire.
