Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

At the same time, audiences all over the world watched this scene through television broadcasts, and they were similarly confused.

What’s happening?

We’re here to watch the parade of the Queen of Visbania, and you’re giving us this movie-like scene—what’s going on?

However, compared to the bewildered global audience, the U.S. Sixth Fleet located offshore was on high alert.

“Damn it, all three squads have lost contact. What trick did those guys use?”

Standing on the aircraft carrier’s bridge, the Commander was also in a grim mood. He originally thought that attacking such a small country would be effortless, especially since the other party hadn’t even deployed anti-aircraft weapons, fighters, or surface forces. But unexpectedly, all twelve aircraft sent out in three successive squads lost communication, even the reconnaissance aircraft didn’t respond.

What exactly happened?

“Sir! Radar reports an unidentified object rapidly approaching us!”

“What? A missile?”

“No, sir, it’s large, very……”

“Boom rumble rumble rumble—————”

However, the sailor’s words were not finished because the Commander had already walked to the porthole, looking into the distant sky. In the azure sky, the originally white clouds gradually turned pitch black, and then an unimaginably massive creature emerged from within. It spread its wings, flames roared over its entire body, charging towards the fleet like a falling sun.

“Attack, attack!! Immediately attack!! Release all carrier-based aircraft!!”

With the Commander’s order, the surrounding Escort Ships immediately turned their guns. Soon, the roar started, countless bullets turned into a storm shooting towards the colossal creature, meanwhile, missiles were rapidly launched, trailing smoke towards the target.

Bullets, capable of piercing steel, hit the body of the Giant Dragon, and missiles that could destroy warships exploded on its pitch-black scales, yet the black Giant Dragon emerging from the gunpowder showed no signs of damage. It spread its wings, sweeping past above the Seventh Fleet, and simultaneously, the sea waves began to roar, as if an invisible giant hand from under the sea suddenly rose, transforming into massive waves and whirlpools, submerging the entire Seventh Fleet.

After several minutes, a plane carrying reporters hurriedly arrived.

“Viewers, please look outside the window, my God, I can’t believe what I see…!”

Looking at the aircraft carrier and warships flipping over like dead fish in the seawater, gradually sinking, the reporter was also dumbfounded.

“That should be America’s Sixth Fleet! Viewers, they have all sunk, all the warships have entirely submerged. My God, I can’t imagine what that Giant Dragon did, but what we can see is that in front of it, even America’s aircraft carrier fleet was so vulnerable……”

Speaking of which, the reporter became more excited, even directly putting his hand against the porthole, but the next moment he cried out, retracting his hand.

“Ah!! Damn it! Viewers, I’ve been burned! Just how hot is it outside? I just touched the glass and felt as if my hand was on a hot iron plate… the air is getting hotter, we must ascend… My God, we are still hundreds of meters away from the sea level and feel such heat; the situation on the sea level can be imagined……”

Speaking of this, the reporter took a cold breath.

“Viewers, I think… the U.S. Sixth Fleet has been completely annihilated, with no survivors.”

Meanwhile, in the Capital of Visbania, reporters who hadn’t had time to track the Giant Dragon swarmed into the Royal Palace, and Queen Mira also timely held a press conference—a part of her plan with Fang Zheng.

“Your Majesty the Queen, please answer my question!”

“Your Majesty the Queen……”

“Please you……”

When Mira entered the hall, the flashlights were dazzling, startling her. However, Mira possessed the Royal Family demeanor, soon calming down. Following Count Geese’s guidance, she walked to the stage. The entire press room was filled with reporters, almost all mainstream television reporters worldwide were present here according to Count Geese’s earlier report.

Mother and Elder Brother surely didn’t expect such a day.

Thinking of this, Mira’s expression dimmed slightly, then she became determined again, looked ahead, and gestured with her hand. Quickly, the previously chaotic press conference room quieted down. Mira stood at the stage, raised three fingers to the reporters below.

“Three questions.”

With Mira’s words, quickly, all the reporters below raised their hands, seeming like a school class where the teacher asks “who knows the answer?”.

“You there.”

Mira glanced at a black-haired, yellow-skinned female reporter not far away and nodded, and she promptly stood up.

“Hello, Your Majesty the Queen, I am a reporter from China Central Television. First, congratulations on inheriting the throne. I would like to ask, what is the origin of that Giant Dragon?”

“It is our Guardian of Visbania.”

Hearing this question, Mira slightly curled her lips and spoke.

“It has always protected this land and our lineage. If our country faces threats, it will appear, eliminating those evil, greedy invaders.”

“Uh……”

Facing Mira’s answer, all the journalists present were stunned, not knowing how to respond. Honestly, Mira’s words seem nonsensical; if in other circumstances, they would surely consider this an excuse to play around. But given the scene they just witnessed — this answer carries undeniable persuasive power!

“The second question.”

Watching the reporter sit down, Mira raised two fingers, and soon, reporters raised their hands again; this time Mira picked a blonde-haired, blue-eyed white male.

“I am a reporter from the Associated Press.”

Compared to earlier, the tone of this reporter was notably less friendly.

“We have just received news that the U.S. Sixth Fleet has been completely annihilated, with no survivors. Your Majesty Mira, what is your opinion on this? Don’t you think that the Giant Dragon is too cruel?”

“Cruel?”

Upon hearing this, Mira immediately furrowed her brow, glaring at him.

“What do you mean by cruel?! When we retaliate against invaders, can that be called cruel? You’re American, so you should know what your fleet came to do! They came to destroy our country, slaughter our people!”

“That’s because your country is associated with terrorists……”

“Rubbish, America does nothing but fabricate lies, what else can you say?”

Mira sneered at the Associated Press reporter’s rebuttal.

“You only targeted our country’s ores, so you sent people to invade our country. Because Mother refused to cooperate, your agents conspired with Duke Gilad, assassinating my Mother and Elder Brother, and tried to kill me. Do you think we would bow down, and surrender to you? Daydream! Our Visbania will never succumb! Guards, expel him, I don’t want to see an American being arrogant in front of me!”

Accompanied by Mira’s command, several soldiers quickly walked over, grabbed the Associated Press reporter like an eagle catching a chick, and dragged him out of the hall.

However, now no one cared about his fate anymore. On the contrary, they were most interested in the explosive news that Queen Mira revealed. So soon, the reporters raised their hands again, and Mira pointed to another African American reporter.

“I am a reporter from Agence France-Presse. I would like to ask Her Majesty the Queen, why exactly does America want to launch an attack on Visbania? You mentioned America doing it for a certain mineral…?”

Indeed, this was the question reporters wanted to know the most. They certainly understood better than anyone that America’s invasion excuses were made up casually. But regarding America’s motivation for invading Visbania, most reporters were genuinely curious. After all, Visbania doesn’t produce oil, and conquering Visbania was of no benefit to America.

Now it seems there are hidden agendas after all!

If the queen didn’t say anything, they would have investigated themselves, but they didn’t expect that Her Majesty the Queen really planned to expose this explosive news, leaving the eager public impatient!

“Right, let’s leave it to the professionals to explain.”

Mira nodded, then gestured, and soon, a Visbanian scientist stepped forward. Although he seemed a bit nervous, he still tried to explain everything using as simple and straightforward language as possible.

And all the journalists were stunned after listening to his explanation.

Although most of the terms spoken by this scholar were beyond the journalists’ comprehension, they understood the event that Visbania discovered a mysterious and powerful mineral. As for how formidable this mineral was, a dedicated expert TV program would be needed to increase ratings. It was certainly worth noting that it attracted the trouble-ridden America to spare time to attack Visbania; this mineral’s allure was undoubtedly substantial!

This was also part of Fang Zheng and Mira’s plan. The news of Visbania Ore couldn’t be kept secret, so it was better to openly share it with various countries. While this mineral was a powerful strategic resource, it was not much use to Visbania; it was very useful for major powers like China, America, Russia, France, and England.

So simply put it on the table, sell it at a clear price.

But don’t sell it to America.

These revelations weren’t enough to answer all the journalists’ questions, but they were sufficient. After finishing speaking, Mira intended to leave. Seeing this, other reporters immediately raised their hands again.

“One last question, Her Majesty the Queen, where did the Giant Dragon go at this moment?”

Upon hearing the question, Mira stopped in her tracks and glanced at the reporter who asked it.

“For this question, you should go ask it yourself.”

Where was the Giant Dragon at this moment?

For the journalists and the public, there might not be an answer to this question. But for the high ranks of various countries, this question wasn’t difficult at all, especially for those nations with the capability to use satellite surveillance. They went as far as risking satellite longevity, forcing orbit changes, to keep track of the Giant Dragon.

Most people originally thought the destruction of the U.S. Sixth Fleet was the end of it, but surprisingly, according to satellite trajectories, the Giant Dragon headed directly for America!

“Are you certain?”

The President sitting in the White House was utterly confused upon hearing the news, while the Minister of Defense looked solemn.

“Confirmed, Mr. President. Our satellites have confirmed it’s advancing towards America!”

“Then why wait, stop it immediately!”

“We have no way; the Sixth Fleet was completely annihilated, not a single survivor. Our fighters and missiles didn’t even inflict the slightest harm on it. If we want to destroy it, we need even more powerful weapons!”

“You mean…?”

Understanding the Minister of Defense’s suggestion, the President fell silent, aware of what “more powerful weapons” implied.

“Mr. President, there’s no time to hesitate; according to the information, this Creature will arrive in America in thirty minutes, and we must intercept it before then!!”

“……….”

The President pondered briefly, then gritted his teeth.

“Alright.”

The pitch-black Fighter Jet soared in the azure sky, advancing silently like an assassin. Then, a seemingly ordinary missile dropped from its abdomen, propelled by fire towards the target ahead.

Facing the missile, the pitch-black Giant Dragon had no intention of evading. It spread its wings and flew straight ahead. Then, a dazzling Radiance akin to the Sun erupted instantly, erupting into a massive mushroom cloud over the sea, enveloped in rolling dust. The enormous dragon, towering enough to block the sun, was covered in dust, and its form vanished.

“Target hit, repeat, target hit!”

“Phew……….”

Hearing the report, everyone at the North American Air Defense Command breathed a sigh of relief, and the Minister of Defense discreetly wiped the sweat off his forehead.

“Hmph, just a Creature in the end, how could it possibly contend with human might?”

However, just as his words fell, the radio crackled again.

“Report, target… target reappeared, it’s unharmed! Oh God, what kind of Creature is this! Stay away, stay aw… assas……..”

The radio’s static engulfed the silent room; everyone stood there motionless. The President sat at his desk, hands tightly clasped, nearing a pale white.

“Maybe we should head to the bunker, Mr. President; it’s somewhat safer.”

“Hmm………..”

The President nodded, preparing to leave, but then the ground began to tremble. Sunlight vanished without a trace, pitch-black Shadows gradually expanded, encompassing the entire White House. Next, a voice echoed.

“Who permits you to invade my land, who authorizes you to destroy my wealth with my subjects?”

This voice was like thunder, resounding across the skies; nearly everyone who heard it felt their heart being hammered heavily, turning pale, and their breathing becoming harder. They forced themselves to look toward the window, only to see outside in the sky, an enormous Black Dragon was spreading its wings. Roaring winds mingled with clouds rotated around it, like an omen of global destruction.

And doomsday was approaching.

“I am the beginning of the apocalypse, the Obscurity of the sun, the knell of ruin!”

The Giant Dragon opened its mouth, its thunderous roar echoing across the heavens.

“The sole purpose of my existence is this moment, witness your death and despair, mortals! The world shall tremble because of me; pathetic Kingdoms shall collapse in my fury, and under my Shadow, all shall turn to Ash!”

Then, the Giant Dragon opened its mouth, inhaling deeply.

Subsequently, blazing fiery columns descended from the sky.
