Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 1055: Chapter 494: The Master Leads the Way, Cultivation Depends on the Individual

From beginning to end, little by little, not missing any detail.

He thought while speaking, ”I said, when I wrote this program that day, Nora... Lawrence Winters was also present, she watched me write it herself.”

Abigail Henderson listened curiously and asked with a smile, ”Why was Heavenly Master Winters there when CEO Kenneth was writing a program? Was she also there to perform some rituals or feng shui?”

Kenneth Osborne stopped walking and said with a wry smile, ”...She is my ex-wife.”

Abigail Henderson: ”...”

She truly didn’t know that!

She quickly apologized, ”I’m sorry, CEO Kenneth, I thought... you were still pursuing her...”

Unexpectedly, they were already married and then divorced.

Kenneth Osborne waved his hand, saying gloomily, ”Forget it, let’s not talk about her, I’ll continue talking about that day’s events.”

He repeated the events of writing the program that day, even mentioning what Lawrence Winters did.

”...It was after Heavenly Master Winters performed the human-computer interaction special effects on that five-minute segment that I was inspired to write this core program.”

Abigail Henderson blinked, starting to admire Kenneth Osborne, ”So that’s how it was! CEO Kenneth, your software is incredible! It can adjust special effects through human-computer interaction! That’s so convenient!”

Kenneth Osborne seemed indifferent, looking at the sunlight starting to set outside the window, and said softly, ”Actually, as long as the core program of the artificial intelligence is set properly, it can adjust itself.”

It’s like teaching a child knowledge, you must have a systematic teaching method to impart knowledge.

But the extent of the child’s knowledge acquired is not controlled by the teaching method, it depends on the child’s own understanding.

Artificial intelligence is the same, the core program is the teaching method, the entire software framework is the child.

How well the entire software runs depends on how well the child learns.

That’s why some artificial intelligence software is extraordinarily powerful, and some do not meet expectations.

Just like in the same class, there are both highly successful students and less successful ones.

Masters lead the way, practice depends on oneself.

Abigail Henderson listened attentively to Kenneth Osborne’s metaphors, thinking while confusedly asking, ”...Then this human-computer interaction feature, can it convert human language into machine language?”

Kenneth Osborne instinctively nodded, ”Yes, otherwise how can you make the computer follow your commands?”

After saying this, Kenneth Osborne paused, feeling a flicker of realization, suddenly seeming enlightened.

He walked to the window, gazing at the bright sunshine and blue skyline outside, his thoughts returning to one person—Lawrence Winters.

That day, it was Lawrence Winters’ human-computer interaction that made the special effects exhibit immense powerful functionality.

He later enabled the computer to replicate the effects produced by Lawrence Winters by writing the machine language generated from Lawrence Winters’ ”human-computer interaction” into the code.

The only person who interacted with his computer and his software was Lawrence Winters.

But he was sure that Lawrence Winters did not understand computer programs and could not write code.

What she used was merely the human-computer interaction feature in the artificial intelligence.

So the true origin of his core code was the machine language generated by Lawrence Winters’ human-computer interaction!

But why is the machine language converted from Lawrence Winters’ ”human-computer interaction” almost identical to the core program of the plaintiff’s company?

Could it be that during ”human-computer interaction,” Lawrence Winters also slipped the key from the same code signature into his program?

And when he copied it, he also copied that key?

But the problem is, Lawrence Winters only conducted human-computer interaction, in other words, that code was actually the machine language converted by his artificial intelligence program!

Lawrence Winters certainly wouldn’t steal someone else’s code because she simply couldn’t understand or even know there was such code in the world.

But the process of her ”human-computer interaction,” after being converted into machine language, was identical to the plaintiff’s core code, what does this signify?

Kenneth Osborne thought of a possibility, and his heart suddenly skipped a beat.

He raised his hand to rub his brow, internally deciding he must not involve Lawrence Winters again.

He had a feeling that if Lawrence Winters were really exposed, the consequences would be beyond his control.

But if he did not bring Lawrence Winters into this, he would have to find other directions to prove the signature had nothing to do with her.

In almost an instant, Kenneth Osborne made a decision.

He said to Abigail Henderson, ”Attorney Abigail, I think I should investigate our company’s network log again. Although I believe no one hacked my computer, there is always a chance... what if it happened?”

Abigail Henderson was somewhat surprised by his change, but she said nothing, just nodding, ”It’s good to investigate, like you said, what if it happened?”

The two discussed specific countermeasures until their stomachs started rumbling, ending the conversation.

Kenneth Osborne glanced at his watch, ”It’s past seven o’clock, let’s go have dinner together, it’s on me, Attorney Abigail.”

Abigail Henderson nodded, ”I’ll humbly accept, next time it’s on me, CEO Kenneth.”

The two of them left the hotel room, heading out together to find a restaurant for dinner.

...

Meanwhile, at Quentin Parker’s mansion, the chef brought by Mrs. Parker had prepared a full seafood feast.

Lawrence Winters, after discussing with Mrs. Parker, invited Mr. Burke, Daoist Wang, and Daoist Quan from the other house, as well as the host and the guide.

”It is fate that everyone can compete together. Come, try the skills of Mrs. Parker’s chef, she’s treating everyone to this meal. Remember to perform a ritual for Mrs. Parker later and give her a Talisman or something, good deeds deserve good returns, hahaha...” Lawrence Winters joyfully raised her glass, very sociably.
