Death… And Me

Chapter 4034: No Reason to Mention It

Around nineteen thousand years had gone by since the twins’ group started to cultivate below that swamp.

By now, the memories related to the twins’ group have pretty much disappeared. The Runia Continent never had a need to call them. The Qufis Alliance only knew about the fake identities, and even though they looked for the twins’ group, they couldn’t find a single clue.

Around two thousand years ago, the Tombassin Sect recruited new members, so the twins’ group also lost that chance. Of course, they didn’t want to join the Tombassin Sect to start with, so it didn’t matter much.

In any case, the world continued to move forward.

Today, Roan opened his eyes, looked at himself, and got up.

Rean, Kentucky, and Celis did the same. Well, Celis was always standing while in his real form.

[Oh!] Sister Orb noticed their movement. [Let me see, let me see... Great! You are finally there. It sure took a while.]

Celis changed back into his humanoid form, sighing in response. ”To think that every single stage would have such a gigantic jump in necessary cultivation energy... After we got the Sky Energy Formation, I thought we would have been done with Divinity Realm Cultivation over six thousand years ago.”

Rean shrugged. ”Why don’t you think like this? All this time is to make up for the time we will save in the Celestial Realm.”

Roan wasn’t as certain, though. ”That will only be the case if Ximao turns out to be right. As far as we know, there might be no such thing as becoming Peak Stage Celestial Realm Experts instantly.”

[Let’s hope that is not the case, shall we? Now then, it is about time you fuse your Celestial Laws with your own Major Laws.]

Indeed. They reached the limit of the Divinity Realm. However, that was only the first prerequisite for the Celestial Realm Breakthrough. The Celestial Laws they had absorbed all those years ago. They had been dormant inside their souls, waiting for the day they would be merged with the Major Laws.

”Ahem...” Celis went to the side, seemingly taking himself away from the group. ”Back in the Lisan Universe, we already knew we needed to merge our absorbed Celestial Laws with our Major Laws. We just didn’t know what we needed to do after that. Well, I spent a very long time alone, so...”

The twins’ group looked at him, surprised. ”Wait, you already got them merged?”

Celis nodded. ”I did. If not because of you, I would already be a Celestial Realm Expert. I even got the core of a Celestial Realm Demon Plant, something Huban and the others worked hard to put their hands on for me... or I was supposed to get it, if you hadn’t pulled me away in the last second. Truly, I was just a few meters away from it. I feel like crying every time I think about it.”

Then, Celis gathered the laws of Absorption and Wood around him. However, the twins and Kentucky could feel they were different. The Celestial Laws in their own souls stirred, feeling those Celestial Laws from the World Swallowing Cedar.

Celis was feeling happy. ”It is so good to be able to bring them out again. It is not a joke when they say you can’t mess with Celestial Laws until you are at least at the limit of the Divinity Realm. I tried to bring them out before in the earlier stages, but it didn’t work at all. Only now, today, right after we reached the limit, was I able to do it once more.”

”The only sad thing is that I can’t comprehend them yet. I got them fused with my Major Laws of Absorption and Wood, but all I can tell is that the Celestial Laws complement my Major Laws. We truly need to have our Celestial Realm Breakthroughs, or we won’t be able to pry into them.”

Suddenly, Roan’s Dark Laws began to change, and Celis could feel the presence of Celestial Laws inside Roan’s Major Laws. Roan controlled them a bit, nodding. ”Celis is right. I can’t ’look’ into the Celestial Laws, even though I know they are there. They aren’t letting me. It is as if there is a veil covering their secrets.”

Celis would be surprised... if he didn’t know who he was dealing with. ”Already got one of them merged? That was pretty fast.”

Rean did the same with his Light Laws. ”It is more about the fact that we are at the utmost end of both spectrums. Just like our breakthroughs, it only feels natural that we can merge our laws with ease.”

Rean looked at Kentucky. ”What about you?”

Kentucky was having a hard time, though. ”Why don’t you try to merge your Dark Laws and see? I doubt you will have the same easy time as you had with your Light Laws, Rean. Roan, the same goes for you with the Light Laws.”

Rean nodded and tried to merge his Dark Laws with the Celestial Laws. Sure enough, it wasn’t anywhere near as straightforward. ”Sigh... it was too good to be true. This will take a while.”

It was the same for Roan when he tried to do it with Light Laws. ”Indeed. We will need a few hours for it.”

Kentucky was happy to hear that. ”See? It is the same for me, okay? I’m right in the middle when it comes to Light and Dark Laws, so it will take a few hours for me to merge them with their Celestial Laws too.”

”Alright, the three of you can stop with it already,” Celis intervened. ”I’m going out to stretch my roots a little. Let me know if you need something from me. Now that we are at the limit of the Divinity Realm, there is no cultivation for me to do anymore.”

Sister Orb saw all of that and found it funny. She obviously checked the network about this step of merging the absorbed Celestial Laws with the Major Laws. In the A1 Universe, this kind of information was accessible. They were going to take a few hours? Ha! Any other expert would take years! [I say, you’d better not mention this to those outside. Not a single soul will believe you. And if they do, they will definitely cry.]

Rean, Roan, and Kentucky nodded. There wasn’t really a reason to mention it to others anyway.
