Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Wen Hua sat there, looking at Qin Shaojin, thinking about the red mark on Nuannuan’s neck, feeling uncomfortable all over, ”What era are we in now? We’ve passed the time of arranged marriages. We should ask Nuannuan’s own opinion.”

Feeling all eyes on her, Wen Nuan sat there, recalling what her father told her last night, suggesting that saying the relationship was still new and it might be too soon for an engagement.

She puffed up her cheeks, speaking confidently, though we’ve supposedly left the era of arranged marriages, hasn’t it still intervened aggressively? Humph, they say it nicely, asking her opinion, but is his opinion really her opinion?

Seeing Head Qin looking towards her, Wen Nuan bit her lip, thinking about how those Zhi Shan’s admirers were so crazy, calling him ”husband” at every turn. If it doesn’t get officially confirmed soon, such an outstanding man being out there will be dangerous!

Risking being strangled by her dad, she sweetly smiled, not daring to look at Wen Hua’s expression, lowered her head, sat there with her feet touching each other nervously, speaking shyly, ”Since my dad and mom respect my opinion, I think it’s fine.”

As soon as she spoke, the entire living room fell silent.

Grandma Qin and Grandpa Qin glanced over and immediately noticed Wen Hua’s notably unpleasant expression.

After a few seconds, Grandma smiled, ”Xiaohua, then let’s settle it for the two kids. As for the engagement day, you and Bi Fu can discuss it, and we’ll make the preparations.”

Wen Hua looked at Grandma, ”I only have this one daughter, Auntie earlier mentioned letting Xiaosan come over, is that true?”

Grandma’s body shook with a quiver, so ruthless!

She smiled, ”Of course it’s true, in the future, if they have children, the first one can take the Wen surname.”

Wen Hua looked at Grandma, ”Thank you, Auntie, for your consent.”

Qin Moting looked over at Grandma.

Grandma trembled three times, looking at Grandpa Qin, ”Old man, what do you say?”

Grandpa Qin sensed Wen Hua’s dissatisfaction with Xiaosan, probably aware of those matters, given that Xiaosan was wrong from the start.

Thinking that nowadays after marriage, the kids usually live separately, whether they take the husband’s surname or not doesn’t make much difference, the surname issue is just a name after all!

Moreover, due to Xiaoru’s parents’ matter earlier, the Qin Family had always felt guilty towards the Wen Family, and with Uncle Xiaosan’s family situation, it’s better to handle it sooner.

He smiled and nodded, ”Hua Zi, neither my wife nor I have any objections. As for Xiaosan’s parents, I will communicate with them. Let’s settle this matter for the kids. My opinion is, they can get engaged sooner, but if they want to date longer before marrying, that’s also fine, we’re at their disposal.”

Wen Hua had nothing more to say.

Bi Fu glanced over, thinking about how the two kids were already together, quickly speaking up, ”Alright then, New Year’s is coming, now the kids all like the dates of January 3rd or January 4th. Either day is fine by me.”

Wen Nuan was ecstatic hearing this, truly loving her mom! Of course, she’s her biological parent!

She was just about to say January 3rd is fine, but remembered she should be reserved today, and swallowed the words back.

Just then Grandma spoke up at the right moment, ”Nuannuan, which day do you like?”

Nuannuan looked at Grandma, ”I think January 3rd is great.”

Grandma clapped, ”Then it’s settled for January 3rd, 2017.”

Wen Hua, ”...”

After a moment of silence, he looked at Bi Fu, ”It’s almost lunchtime.”

Bi Fu felt the chilly ambiance, quickly stood up to prepare.

Grandma sat there, looking at Wen Nuan, almost adoring her, thinking how could there be such a lovely granddaughter-in-law! Surely the Qin Family’s ancestors had accumulated good karma!
