Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Huo Jinnan took off his suit and hung it on the solid wood coat rack, ”Don’t call me that affectionately, it wouldn’t be good if dad and mom heard.”

Qin Huan, ”Believe it or not, I’ll bite you.”

Huo Jinnan didn’t make a sound, just stood there taking off his tie.

Qin Huan pounced forward, about to bite his arm.

Huo Jinnan lowered his head, his hand landed on her waist, firmly trapping her in his embrace, ”Had enough biting?”

Qin Huan glared at him.

Huo Jinnan stood up, unbuttoned his shirt, took it off, and hung it aside.

Qin Huan then remembered she hadn’t brought pajamas, ”You... you sleep like this?”

”Is there a problem sleeping like this?”

Huo Jinnan glanced at Qin Huan and asked.

Qin Huan didn’t respond, quietly turned to her side, and covered herself with the blanket, suddenly feeling the room was a bit warm, despite it clearly being September weather and supposed to cool off at night!

A week later, the little guy got home from school, threw his backpack on the sofa, and didn’t see Huo Jinnan and Qin Huan, looked at Zhong Qin, ”Grandma, haven’t they come back yet?”

Zhong Qin nodded, ”Your grandma isn’t feeling well, they are taking care of her for a few days.”

...

The little guy pursed his lips and remained silent.

Humph, clearly wanting to have a world of their own!

A couple of days would’ve been enough, but they still don’t plan to come back!

How to get them to come back by themselves?

The little guy sat there, looking around, his gaze fell on Zhong Qin, and suddenly he got an idea.

Afraid that speaking would give him away, he picked up the phone and texted Huo Jinnan, ”Dad, grandma seems a bit uncomfortable, I wanted to call you but she wouldn’t let me, I’m a bit worried.”

An hour later, hearing the doorbell, the little guy opened the door, seeing Huo Jinnan and Qin Huan, ”You guys are back?”

Huo Jinnan followed Qin Huan inside, they stood at the entrance changing shoes, his gaze fell on Zhong Qin, his voice was deep, ”Mom, you don’t look so well.”

Zhong Qin looked towards the door, ”Really?”

Huo Jinnan didn’t say anything more, mom wasn’t saying, simply because she didn’t want them to worry.

Zhong Qin looked at Qin Huan, ”Huanhuan, how is your mom’s leg doing?”

Qin Huan looked up and smiled at Zhong Qin, ”Mom, my mom is much better, the day before yesterday, Jinnan, my dad, and I all accompanied her to the hospital for an x-ray. Shen Mubai sent it to Dr. Smith, Dr. Smith reviewed it and said there are no issues, and she can remove the cast and start rehabilitation in a few months.”

Zhong Qin breathed a sigh of relief, ”That’s good, she’s finally getting better.”

Qin Huan changed into slippers, walked over, and sat next to Zhong Qin, thinking about how mom recently keeps thinking about big brother, afraid it wasn’t good for her health, especially since she just had a heart transplant a few months ago.

”Mom, I am going for a check-up at the hospital tomorrow, let’s go together.”

Zhong Qin understood she wanted to take her, appreciating the children’s filial piety, she didn’t refuse, ”Sure, what time shall we go tomorrow?”

Huo Jinnan came over, ”Let’s go early.”

The little guy stood at the door, glanced toward the sofa, sighed softly, looks like he won’t be found out!

He walked over and sat next to Qin Huan, ”Huanhuan.”

Qin Huan turned her eyes towards the little guy, ”Missing mom?”

The little guy nodded vigorously, don’t Huanhuan and Huo Jinnan miss him too? If it weren’t for his text, how long were they planning to stay at grandpa’s house?

So heartless!

”Huanhuan, teach me to draw.”

Qin Huan responded, ”Okay.”

The little guy happily took out his notebook, placed it on the coffee table.

Qin Huan taught him to draw a bird.
