”So, what should we do with it…? Just kill it before it ends up infecting someone else?” Curiously looking at the small Qi Sapping Worm he was currently holding firmly in his hand, Xuan Hao asked Elder Song.

Killing it was what he had first wanted to do, but from how Elder Song had behaved earlier, Xuan Hao had a feeling that the old man might have some other plans for the worm…

”NO! Don’t kill it! We can use it to trade with the Sky Empire and get ourselves an even better position in the Sect Alliance that they are currently in the process of building up!” Almost screaming out loud upon hearing the mention of killing the worm, Elder Song reached his hands forward in a protective manner towards the small worm. Looking like he wanted to rip it out of Xuan Hao’s hands at any moment.

”… Here, you can just take care of it… I still have a confused disciple to get back to…”

Not wanting to have Fang Yu wait back at the training ground for too long as he talked with Elder Song, Xuan Hao decided to just throw the sealed Qi Sapping Worm over to Elder Song before taking his leave from the small private room they talked in.

Ignoring the curious stare, he got from the Alchemy Hall Elder just outside waiting for Elder Song to continue go through the remaining spiritual herbs that had just arrived.

Whoosh~

Stepping out of the administrative building, Xuan Hao flew into the sky and headed back towards his mountain. Hoping that the Qi Sapping Worm was the only reason why Fang Yu had been struggling with the fire burning formation…

…

Back inside of the training ground just after Xuan Hao had left to look for Elder Song to figure out what the Qi Sapping worm, he had found inside of Fang Yu’s dantian was, Fang Yu herself recovered the few small injuries Xuan Hao had unintentionally caused her during the process of extracting the Qi Sapping Worm.

”What was that thing Elder Xuan pulled out from my dantian…”

Feeling that her dantian had already recovered after only a few minutes in the current in environment filled with a dense amount of water qi, that increased the efficiency of both her recovery rate and cultivation speed, Fang Yu could not help but think of the weird worm like creature Elder Xuan had just pulled out from her dantian a few minutes ago…

The entire ordeal was simply not something Fang Yu had ever imagined she would experience after stepping onto the path of cultivation… Knowing that she might die in a fight with another cultivator in the future, was one thing. Having a worm like creature living inside your dantian, doing who knows what, was another thing entirely…

If Elder Xuan had not discovered that worm… What would have happened in the future…?

Thinking about all sorts of horrifying possibilities, Fang Yu could not help but feel thankful towards Xuan Hao.

Calming down upon thinking about the fact that Xuan Hao had already removed the worm from her dantian, Fang Yu began cultivating inside of the training ground. Feeling the enormous amount of water qi eagerly rushing towards her as she felt her cultivation speed increase!

Fang Yu felt like something fundamental had changed inside of her, as her cultivation speed began to increase faster and faster until she managed to directly breakthrough her current realm at the Third Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm. Reaching the Fourth Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm!

Officially going from someone at the early stages of the Foundation Establishment Realm to someone at the middle stages of the Foundation Establishment Realm!

Not stopping to celebrate her breakthrough, Fang Yu continued to quietly cultivate inside of the training ground as she knew an opportunity to cultivate in such a blessed environment filled with pure and dense water qi suitable for her cultivation mantra, was hard to come by in the future.

At least she wanted to take advantage of the small opportunity she had gotten to increase her cultivation realm!

Whoosh~

A short distance from the training ground Fang Yu was waiting inside of, Xuan Hao quietly appeared just in time to witness Fang Yu breaking through to the Fourth Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm.

”Guess I will wait until the cloud passes through…”

Watching how greedily Fang Yu was absorbing the surrounding water qi, Xuan Hao decided to give her a little more time to cultivate. After all, the current environment inside the training ground with the cloud passing through was simply a blessing for someone like Fang Yu.

Other than that, the cloud currently making the training ground all fogey would not stay around for much longer, as it was already about to be gone.

Giving Fang Yu a few more minutes to cultivate as the cloud passed through would not hurt anyone… Other than the cloud whose water qi was currently in the process of being absorbed…

Clouds could truly be considered a blessing for cultivators who were practicing water-based cultivation mantras.

…

”You should have recovered by now, are you ready to continue from where we left off earlier?”

Waiting around for a few minutes outside of the training ground until the cloud had passed by and drifted off the mountain. Continuing onwards towards some unknowing location. Xuan Hao entered the training ground and walked over.

”Elder Xuan!? I-I already recovered… Do you know what that worm from earlier was? And will I be… f-fine…?” Seeing Xuan Hao suddenly appear, Fang Yu quickly stopped cultivating. Asking the two questions, that had not left her mind ever since she had seen the worm Xuan Hao had pulled out from her dantian.

”No need to worry about it, you will be fine. The worm has already been dealt with by me and there is nothing for you to worry about.”

Seeing the worried expression on Fang Yu’s face, Xuan Hao quickly began reassuring her without mentioning what kind of worm the Qi Sapping Worm was.

Something that the Sky Empire wanted; he did not want news about something like that appearing inside of the Flying Sword Sect spreading outside... That would just end up attracting unwanted trouble…

”What I’m more interested in, is if the worm might have had something to do with the fact that you failed with the fire burning formation for the past two years!”

Not letting Fang Yu discover the fact that he avoided he question, Xuan Hao instead redirected her attention towards the fact that she might be able to set up the formation she had been struggling with for two years.

”Really!?”

Fang Yu did not notice how Xuan Hao had avoided answering what kind of worm had been inside of her dantian just a moment ago. Instead focusing her full attention towards the fact that she might finally be able to complete the fire burning formation. Officially being capable of entering the Formation Hall!

This was understandable.. After all, she had been trying hard to enter the Formation Hall for two years straight and now she finally saw a chance for her dream to come true. The identity of the worm did not matter compared to the news that she might finally be able to set up a complete fire burning formation without it exploding after a few seconds…
