Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 228: 4-ton Large Ship Emperor CruisersChapter 228: -ton ship - Four Emperors Cruiser
The design of the Four Emperors Cruiser conceived by Pan Xueming is unique and ingenious.

He cleverly drew on a lot of valuable experience from the previous Aegis missile destroyer project, and innovated and improved it on this basis.

After some in-depth research and thinking, Lin Chenran only found a small part that needed improvement.

People do improve!
Looking back at the original design of the Aegis missile destroyer, although it had many highlights, it is undeniable that there were still some immature aspects.

However, times have changed, and the design of the Four Emperors’ cruisers presented to everyone today has become perfect.

After Pan Xueming introduced this carefully crafted design plan in detail, Lin Chenran, who was sitting next to him, could not help but get excited. He quickly stood up and took the lead in applauding Pan Xueming.

Soon after, other senior executives of the 704 Shipyard present also stood up to respond, and for a moment, thunderous applause rang out in the conference room.

It has to be said that the design of the Four Emperors’ cruisers is indeed almost flawless, and the few remaining minor flaws will not affect its overall outstanding performance at all.

With just a few adjustments and optimizations to these issues, it will become an impeccable and mature cruiser design.

If the Yan Country Navy is not satisfied with the design and development results of the Four Emperors Cruisers, Lin Chenran is confident that he is fully capable of successfully promoting it to other countries.

The majestic sight of a giant cruiser with a displacement of tens of thousands of tons galloping across the ocean is enough to make one’s heart race.

Its powerful deterrent power will undoubtedly make it a hot commodity in the eyes of navies of various countries.

Especially the Saudi Arabia in the Camel region, they have wanted to own large warships for a long time.

However, for their own interests, the Eagle Sauce and the Russian Bear will not sell large warships to Saudi Arabia in the Camel Region.

Other countries?

Then they dare not sing against the Eagle Sauce and the Russian Bear.

Gaul wanted to obtain an order for large warships from the Kingdom of Sand in the Camel region, but its shipyards have shrunk in recent years and are unable to undertake large warships.

Previously, Abdul from Saudi Arabia in the Camel region lamented why Yan’s shipbuilding technology was so backward and unable to accept orders for large warships.

If the Yan Country Navy does not need this Four Emperors cruiser, Lin Chenran will not hesitate to sell it to the ”big dog owner”.

A 10,000-ton ship that can fight and resist, who doesn’t love it!

……

Pan Xueming noticed that Lin Chenran was the first to start clapping, and the corners of his mouth couldn’t help but rise slightly.

Be able to gain Lin Chenran’s recognition.

Pan Xueming’s heart was filled with joy, as if he had eaten honey.

Especially with Lin Chenran’s affirmation, he knew that he had secured his position as the director of the 704 Shipyard.

This feeling of being recognized was like a spring breeze blowing through his heart, filling him with confidence and motivation.

Pan Xueming scratched his head and said modestly: ”Thank you for your support.”

As soon as he finished speaking, warm applause broke out again.

After the applause gradually died down, Pan Xueming sincerely asked Lin Chenran to comment on the Four Emperors Cruiser that was carefully designed and developed by the team he led, and to put forward some valuable suggestions and directions for subsequent improvements.

Lin Chenran said in a calm and gentle tone, ”Boss Pan, the design of the Four Emperors Cruiser you submitted this time is really outstanding.”

The tone changed: ”However, I do have a little suggestion I would like to share with you.”

Hearing this, Pan Xueming’s face immediately revealed a look of anticipation, and he stared at Lin Chenran beside him with his sharp eyes.

Although he had put a lot of effort into the design of this Four Emperors cruiser, as the saying goes, ”Onlookers see more clearly than those involved.”

There may be some subtle details that are not perfect or can be improved, but he himself has never noticed it.

He desperately hoped that Lin Chenran could help him find the hidden problems.

This will make the design of the Four Emperors’ cruisers more perfect.

As Lin Chenran methodically explained the shortcomings of the design of the Four Emperors Cruisers, Pan Xueming and his R&D team members were initially frowning and puzzled, but gradually, expressions of sudden enlightenment appeared on their faces.

”Yes, yes, yes! So that’s how it is!” someone couldn’t help but shout excitedly.

”That’s it! Why didn’t we think of it before?” another member echoed.

”That’s right! This is really a wake-up call!”

Pan Xueming’s voice was trembling with excitement. He quickly picked up a pen and carefully wrote down what Lin Chenran had said about the shortcomings of the Four Emperors Cruiser design.

At the same time, I secretly swore in my heart that I must work late into the night to solve some of these problems.

Under Lin Chenran’s patient guidance.

Pan Xueming felt as if his brain was ignited and began to work rapidly.

Inspiration is like a fountain, constantly emerging from the depths of my mind.

The more he thought about it, the clearer his thoughts became, and the problems that had troubled him for a long time seemed to be solved all at once.

By the time Pan Xueming and other team members had finally finished recording all the shortcomings of the Four Emperors Cruisers mentioned by Lin Chenran, the meeting was nearing its end.

Lin Chenran looked at everyone and nodded with satisfaction. He smiled and said, ”Thank you for your hard work during this period. The current development trend of our 704 Shipyard is beyond my expectation.”

Hearing this, everyone present smiled with pride.

Then, Lin Chenran changed the subject and continued, ”However, we cannot be satisfied with the status quo.”

”As long as everyone works together and continues to work hard based on the current good situation, then by the end of the year, I guarantee that your year-end bonus will be greatly increased again!”

After saying this, he glanced at everyone’s face, and seeing the fighting spirit burning in everyone’s eyes, he felt secretly proud.

As a leader, timely ”painting some big rosy pictures” and ”pumping up the enthusiasm” for subordinates can motivate them to work harder.

When the senior executives of the 704 Shipyard heard that this year’s year-end bonus would be more than last year, their faces instantly flushed and they became extremely excited.

The year-end bonuses issued last year made everyone have a ”fat year” and also dispelled the ”misunderstanding” of the military industry. (It’s better to sell tea eggs than to work in the military industry)

“This is a promise I made!”

Lin Chenran promised with a serious face.

”Thank you Mr. Lin!”

A group of senior executives of the 704 Shipyard cheered and shouted collectively.

……

Three days passed quickly like a flash. Lin Chenran took Pan Xueming, Sun Yong and other design teams to participate in the cruiser and frigate bidding conference of the Yan State Navy.

After arriving at the venue, Lin Chenran and others received a lot of attention.
