Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 213 Situ HuaChapter 213 Situ Hua

”The Navy needs a third-generation carrier-based aircraft for subsequent aircraft carriers, and they gave the task to our 077 Mechanical Arsenal.” Lin Chenran said with a smile.

”Really?” Song Xiyun asked excitedly, ”The Yan Navy’s aircraft carrier-based aircraft will be designed and developed by our 077 Mechanical Arsenal?” His face was filled with excitement that was difficult to conceal.

This is undoubtedly a supreme honor!

Normally, this type of carrier-based aircraft is often designed and developed by established military industrial enterprises such as Chengfei or Shenyang Aircraft Corporation.

They have a long-term cooperative relationship with the Yan State military and are well aware of the military’s needs.

However, now, the Yan State Navy has entrusted such an important task to the 077 Mechanical Arsenal, which fully demonstrates that in the eyes of the top naval leaders, the status of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal has surpassed Shenfei and Chengfei.

”Mr. Song, you can discuss with Mr. Meng at that time to see whether to upgrade the Dragon Shadow fighter or develop a brand new third-generation fighter.”

Lin Chenran delegated the decision-making power to his own fighter design and development team without hesitation.

”No problem. We will discuss this with Lao Meng and will definitely give the Yan Kingdom Navy a satisfactory plan.”

Song Xiyun said this very confidently.

Designing the first carrier-based aircraft will be recorded as a milestone in the Yan State Navy.

This can’t be taken lightly!
……

After Lin Chenran arranged everything, he led several people from the 077 Mechanical Arsenal north to the imperial capital to prepare to meet with the negotiation team.

When they just stepped out of the Imperial Capital Airport, they unexpectedly found someone there to pick them up.

Not long after, a car slowly drove over, picked up Lin Chenran and others, and took them to a yard.

This yard is the temporary residence of the temporary negotiation team.

After entering the yard, Lin Chenran finally met the deputy head of the temporary negotiation team, Situ Hua.

”Mr. Hua, it’s really unexpected that you are leading the team in person!” Lin Chenran felt surprised and honored, and hurriedly went up to greet him.

”Haha, Lin boy, we haven’t seen each other for a long time!” Situ Hua also responded enthusiastically.

As the second-generation diplomat of Yan State, Situ Hua once had a brilliant experience on the international stage.

As he grew older, he was transferred back to China to take up an important position.

My superiors had never told me who the deputy head of the temporary negotiation team would be.

So Lin Chenran didn’t know that it was Situ Hua who was leading the group.

Prior to this, Lin Chenran made a trivial suggestion to the top leaders of Yan State.

The suggestion is to find a group of negotiators who are good at drinking and have a high alcohol tolerance. It would be best to find those who can drink a thousand cups without getting drunk and drink white wine as if it were boiled water, and have them join the negotiation team.

If you go to negotiate with the Russian bear without enough alcohol tolerance, the consequences will be disastrous.

In the culture of the Russian bear, only by defeating your opponent at the drinking table can you take the initiative.

Otherwise, you can only wait for the other party to take control of the situation.

Lin Chenran specially reminded the top leaders of Yan State to select those staff members who can drink, and drink very well, to join the negotiation team.

Although Lin Chenran himself is a person who can drink a thousand cups without getting drunk, he also needs to pay attention to health preservation.

”Lin, we have prepared everything exactly as you requested. These are the elites among the elites. We have already eliminated those who are not as good at drinking.”

Situ Hua said to Lin Chenran jokingly.

When going to negotiate with the Russians, you must bring a group of negotiators who can drink.

Otherwise, they are likely to fall into a passive position and be led by the nose by the Russian bear. You know, the White Elephant Country suffered a loss at the wine table before, which caused the price of the weapons and equipment they purchased to double!
”Mr. Hua, the Maoxiong people are famous for their ability to drink. For them, a bottle of vodka may just be used to rinse their mouths.”

”We must be fully prepared in advance. Otherwise, if we are fooled by the other party and sign the contract without knowing what’s going on, we will be in big trouble! By then, we will become sinners of our motherland!”

The Arctic route is related to the future development of the country and is no trivial matter.

If we can gain more benefits from it, it will be very beneficial to the entire country.

Just like the Suez Canal, its owner country is making money by lying there.

It will directly make others envious and jealous!

”Lin, don’t worry. I have already made arrangements. I have specially found a wine god who can drink a thousand cups without getting drunk. This guy drinks white wine just like drinking boiled water. There will be no problem!”

Situ Hua assured Lin Chenran confidently.

Because he was very clear about the importance and seriousness of this matter.

”Please everyone, I have applied to my superiors for a generous bonus. As long as you return victoriously from the Russian bear, you can receive this bonus.” Lin Chenran said to everyone with a smile.

Then he loudly announced: ”So, everyone please go all out to win glory for our country!”

Upon hearing the news, cheers and applause broke out in the conference room.

”Thank you, Mr. Lin!” someone shouted excitedly.

”Long live!” others shouted excitedly.

No one expected that this overseas mission would not only make contributions to the country, but also provide extra bonuses, which made everyone extremely excited and looking forward to it.

Lin Chenran smiled and waved his hand, signaling everyone to be quiet, and then continued: ”Of course, this mission is not easy.”

”The motherland needs everyone’s stomach. When we go to the Russian bear country, everyone should use their alcohol tolerance to the fullest at the banquet and try to get the other person drunk.”

“Remember, the more you drink, the more advantageous it will be for our subsequent negotiations, so please, everyone!”

He once again emphasized the importance of this mission and encouraged everyone to move forward bravely and not be afraid of difficulties.

”Yes! Mr. Lin, don’t worry!” Everyone answered in unison.

This is a rare opportunity to go abroad, and the mission does not seem difficult, so they will naturally do their best to ensure that the mission is successfully completed.

After completing the task, you will also receive a generous bonus.

A good thing that kills two birds with one stone.

Finally, Lin Chenran asked Situ Hua to dismiss everyone first, so that everyone could go back to have a good rest, recharge their batteries, and be fully prepared for the upcoming mission.

Immediately afterwards, Lin Chenran invited Situ Hua to the conference room.

”Lin, you will be in charge of the negotiations on the Arctic route. I will only be watching from behind and providing you with advice.”

Situ Hua said slowly.

In fact, when he first heard the decision of his superiors, he was also very surprised.

Generally speaking, such negotiations should be conducted by them.

As far as he knew, Lin Chenran had never experienced such a large-scale negotiation.

Can it work?

However, the superiors unanimously decided to let Lin Chenran serve as the head of the negotiation team and preside over the entire ”Arctic Route” negotiations.
