Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 86: Chapter 37: Red Dragon’s Experiment_3

As a talent holder with an affinity for related elements, a Giant Dragon can control and command these flowing elements through their will and spirit.

When these elements do not resist, these controllers can use them to unleash terrifying and tremendous power in the real world.

Now, Karon, with his talent for controlling flames, earth, and metal, can touch these elements and use them to create boundless force in the real world.

More importantly, this perception of reality is akin to granting Karon the ability to observe the true nature of the world from another perspective, with his perception being more like a kind of true vision.

In this domain of extreme perception and true visual field, he can see through both magic-induced and non-magic-induced darkness, as well as some invisible creatures and objects, and can detect visual illusions through true vision.

If someone uses mid and low-tier skills to achieve invisibility, it would be fully exposed in Karon’s true vision, unless the stealth spell reaches a Master Level or possesses unique talent.

Like the invisibility ability Riven naturally possesses as a Magic Fairy, although Karon cannot directly see through the little elves in their invisible state, he can still find some trace patterns.

If this ability is further enhanced, he might even be able to directly see through the true forms of shape-shifting creatures or those using magic for transformation.

The true forms concealed by transformation skills would also be seen through by Karon, especially those Metal Dragons that particularly love using transformation skills.

And the Silver Dragons, these Giant Dragons without warrior ethics, especially love transforming into elves or human forms to travel the world.

Some Giant Dragons are particularly keen on adventuring with partners from other races, then transforming into a Giant Dragon to save the team amidst danger, showing off heroism in front of others.

And afterward, even if there are no minstrels in the party, these Giant Dragons will actively tell storytellers who like spreading tales, to make their stories of righteous partnership known.

Dragons inherently love vanity and shamelessly disregard their dragon face, and many Metal Dragons’ good names are spread this way.

If not for the Five-Color Dragons being too chaotic and evil, maybe they could also use this method to change their reputation.

However, speaking of which, based on what Karon knows, not many creatures are born with various kinds of special perceptions.

For instance, Blind Vision, Dark Vision, Vibration Perception, etc., these special perceptions should also touch upon the true aspect of the world in certain ways.

”It seems necessary to establish a relatively objective observation model for the real world, to fully understand the world’s knowledge, to better construct one’s unique understanding of the world’s reality.”

Karon lay on the ground, after soaking in the lava for a long time, he now especially enjoys the feeling of the breeze blowing, resting his thorn-covered cheek on his paw.

”Or the understanding of the world isn’t limited to the aspect of physical reality; in terms of thought, or philosophy, it can also help construct a unique understanding of the world.”

”But even if it’s a material worldview, it can be divided into the macroscopic world and the microscopic world, and if you delve deeper, it would take a lifetime to fully grasp this knowledge.”

The Red Dragon’s long tail started to swing in boredom, and under the Red Dragon’s mighty power, even a common tail swing appeared particularly intimidating, smashing the rocks dried and solidified by lava overflow into powder.

”And other ways of viewing the world, such as Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire, void consciousness, the Five Elements, Five Energies, etc., how can these be summarized into one’s understanding then?” The Red Dragon’s paw supporting its chin uncontrollably scratched its head.

Scenes happening multiple times to Blue Dragon Doss are now being recreated in the Red Dragon, and Karon began to feel a kind of remorse akin to a struggling student, a realization of ”if only back then” rising in his mind.
