Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

Chapter 773: Chapter 342: Hymn of Light (Part 3)

The second question comes from the pit he dug last time.

Before entering the Cursed Dungeon, he assigned a task to the news department, claiming that based on the Praise Poem Plan, Schultz had made another breakthrough and was developing a true human god.

He named the plan Hymn of Light and used Erin’s selfie as the concept image of an artificial deity, handing it over to the news department for external publicity.

It’s not that the news department was idle; rather, they did their job too well.

Those who work in the Hymn Company’s news department are key figures from major media outlets, and they are adept at the three core elements of journalism.

Emphasizing the point, the journalism elements here are not authenticity, timeliness, and reportage.

But rather leading the narrative, stirring emotions, and creating dichotomies.

Under their publicity, the Hymn of Light Project spread worldwide.

Due to Wu Chang’s instructions before leaving, they were to do everything they could to have the Hymn of Light accepted and required the entire company to cooperate with their promotions.

In line with Hymn Company’s excellent operational style, they used Disqualified Monsters and Essence Armor in their dissemination.

The central figure of the Hymn of Light Project, Eternal Pure Light Erin, although she was entering the Hymn Company plane for the first time.

But on various social media platforms within the plane, over a dozen ”miracles” of her exterminating Disqualified Monsters had already circulated.

In Hymn Company’s longstanding propaganda, Disqualified Monsters are creatures brought by humanity’s environmental destruction and warmongering actions.

Disqualified Monsters are emissaries of world destruction, signifying imminent divine punishment on humanity.

In contrast, the emergence of Eternal Pure Light is an act of self-rescue by Hymn Company, serving as humanity’s protector.

Erin’s near-perfect appearance, coupled with the news department’s promotion and the frequent threat of Disqualified Monsters worldwide, quickly established her identity as a guardian deity.

Netizens created a personal website, a cyber chapel for Erin, and even individual support sites and spin-offs became wildly popular.

This allowed Erin, upon entering the Hymn Company plane, to feel the massive influx of faith directed toward her.

With this faith, she successfully planted the seedling of the Tree of Miracles in the garden on the top floor of Hymn Company.

Once the seedling grows, this place can be merged into the Divine Kingdom.

The massive success of the publicity, however, led to a severe problem: the news department became constrained.

Wu Chang’s previous request was to promote, but he did not elaborate on the details of the Hymn of Light Project.

They were extrapolating the Hymn of Light Project based on parts of the Praise Poem Plan that were already declassified.

Now, the excessive deification of Eternal Pure Light includes descriptions that surpass the capabilities outlined in the Praise Poem Plan.

If they continue to exploit the hype, the projections would far exceed the company’s current technology, and they would bear the blame.

If they deny the excessive descriptions, it would clash with current expectations and cause enthusiasm to wane.

Once enthusiasm cools, rational thinking follows, and with it, skepticism, reducing the impact of the news.

Thus, they sought Wu Chang’s instructions on how to proceed next.

Wu Chang was very satisfied with the news department’s work and asked the secretaries to verify each member’s contributions to the event and reward them at the highest level according to company regulations.

As for the subsequent handling, they temporarily did not need to worry.

Because Erin had arrived.

The key to a routine is not whether it’s new, but whether it’s effective.

The next step was to use Hymn Company’s best approach to build a stage suitable for Erin’s debut.

Two hours after Wu Chang and Erin arrived on the plane, Hymn Company issued a message.

According to Federal Time, at eight o’clock tomorrow night, a press conference would be held on time, announcing the phased results of the Hymn of Light Project.

As soon as this message was released, it ignited the world.

Whether it was the artificial god plan or Erin herself, it was an astounding headline.

Not only were renowned news agencies and major media outlets from various countries flocking in, but all sorts of self-media also swarmed in.

This made Wielder City even more bustling than the Essence Armor launch at the end of the Hymn Company dungeon.

Meanwhile, on the discussion website for Hymn of Light, a post was highlighted.

”If Eternal Pure Light is truly the guardian deity of humanity, would the emissary of doomsday really turn a blind eye?”

The post garnered intense discussion, at one point topping the trending list on various social media platforms.

As if Murphy’s Law hit once again, on the day of the conference, in Wielder City, where the weather forecast predicted a clear sunny day, the sky was shrouded in dark clouds all day.

The dark clouds were suffocating, foreshadowing something significant was about to happen.

”Abnormal weather in Wielder City” became the topic of people’s discussions.

Starting at four thirty in the afternoon, a fierce wind began to blow in Wielder City, stirring the clouds and rendering the sky ominous and dangerous.

At exactly five in the afternoon, residents in high-rise buildings could faintly hear the roars and howls of a monster from the sky.

By six o’clock, the roar grew louder, spreading across Wielder City with the wind.

There were massive dark shadows moving within the clouds, appearing and disappearing, each at least a hundred meters long.

The Federal Conquest launched drones to investigate, but all aerial equipment lost contact as soon as they entered the clouds.

At six fifteen, the storm lifted the clouds, revealing a gigantic yellow monster with a menacing face.

It rode the storm, as if about to tear the sky apart.

Numerous cameras captured this scene, live broadcasting the existence of the yellow monster to the world.

Whether at the scene in Wielder City or in front of screens, viewers felt their heads swelling, thinking slowed, and their hearts involuntarily filled with despair the moment they saw the yellow monster.

The same thought sprang up in people’s minds: the end of the world was truly coming.

As despair spread wildly, and those with fragile wills were on the brink of mental collapse, a soft light pierced the sky.

In the next moment, a girl with four wings growing from her back and wielding a giant hammer struck the yellow monster alongside the storm, splitting the yellow monster and the dark clouds to reveal the sunset hidden behind them.

At the moment when the sunset appeared on camera, a massive Power of Faith converged from around the world.

The Tree of Miracles at the top of Hymn Company soared into the sky, transforming into the Pillar of the Divine Kingdom, connecting with a large Divine Kingdom.
