Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

Chapter 671: Chapter 308: The Plane on the Verge of Collapse

As long as we take out Peace, the other players will be nothing but weaklings in their eyes.

Especially since he has the Dragon Knight reincarnation, once he uses the Golden Dragon Armor, in the Cursed Dungeon where player damage is reduced by 90%, no other player can break through his defense.

It’s said that in front of a God, no matter how many mortals there are, they are meaningless. Although he hasn’t seen a real God, right now in the Cursed Dungeon, even if a real God came, he could still put up a fight!

Dragon Armor pondered for a moment and said, ”How are we going to deal with Peace?”

Lin Jiang took out a seal engraved with a swastika and placed it beside the lotus, saying:

”This player Peace is quite peculiar. I suspect he has found some loophole in the Abyssal Game, allowing him to receive system privileges that ordinary players, and even higher-ups of the Four Major Organizations, do not have.”

”He’s been able to leave alive from the hands of the Bright Society in other dungeons, and even under the suppression of the Cursed Dungeon’s plane, he’s managed to take down Deep Sea and Murphy one after another. This shows that his system privilege has transcended the dungeon plane’s world rules, so we shouldn’t confront him directly.”

Though Dragon Armor considered himself invincible now, there was a caveat to his invincibility, excluding Peace.

He might be impulsive, but he’s not foolish.

He needed to guard against Peace while also watching out for Lin Jiang.

If Lin Jiang were to instruct him to eliminate Peace, he definitely wouldn’t blunder about like the smart Murphy, relying on stats to confront Peace head-on.

At this point, Lin Jiang deliberately opted out of a frontal confrontation, which in turn reduced Dragon Armor’s wariness against him.

Lin Jiang continued:

”So what we need to do is primarily harass and destroy, and drive the world will to collapse.”

”Harass White Old K’s various strongholds, disperse the players under Peace; target the legislators supporting Peace to sabotage his mayoral election; while Peace is stretched thin, stimulate the world will and accelerate its collapse.”

Saying this, Lin Jiang gestured for Lizi to come closer, then said:

”I know Mr. Dragon Armor is dissatisfied with my judgment and doesn’t fully trust me, so this time, you will choose which task to execute.”

Although Dragon Armor indeed didn’t trust Lin Jiang, Lin Jiang’s frankness left him at a loss for words, forcing him to say:

”Let’s not be strangers. I’ve always been fair and have no personal grudge against you; since it’s all in the open now, let bygones be bygones.”

Lin Jiang raised an eyebrow and asked, ”So does that mean Mr. Dragon Armor is willing to follow my arrangements...?”

Dragon Armor interrupted, ”Can you elaborate on the task to stimulate the world will?”

Neither wanted to speak of pleasantries when it really came to choosing the task. Dragon Armor couldn’t possibly follow Lin Jiang’s orders.

The first two tasks are illegal. At present, they are fugitives; taking action would not only bring the Sigef City SWAT team but also the potential pursuit by Peace.

Lin Jiang and Lizi were in cahoots; if it came to that point, they would surely ”leave him behind.”

Compared to confronting Peace, stimulating the world will that collapses on its own was less dangerous and allowed him to observe Lin Jiang and Lizi’s movements from the sidelines.

”If I find the world will, how should I stimulate it? Destroy it?”

Lin Jiang replied, ”Never attempt to attack it. It exists in the form of an ordinary human, but when attacked or strongly stimulated, it can unleash the power the world will should possess.”

”It is the world’s will and is not influenced by the world rules. Even with our additional attribute liberation, we can’t withstand an attack from the world will.”

”We just need to disrupt its living environment, inconvenience it, and eliminate the people around it to stimulate it and make it start to collapse again.”

Dragon Armor mulled over what Lin Jiang had said; Lin Jiang’s plan not only wasn’t risky but repeatedly stressed to be cautious and avoid taking risks.

Hearing it this way, Lin Jiang seemed to bear no malice, perhaps he was judging Lin Jiang’s intentions beforehand based on prejudice against the members of the Four Major Organizations?

Dragon Armor felt a twinge of guilt and said, ”Then I’ll choose to stimulate the world will.”

”You two are old acquaintances and cooperate well. Even if you encounter Peace and can’t defeat him, you can successfully escape.”

Lizi frowned slightly, as if wanting to say something, but Lin Jiang quickly said:

”We’re a team, and everyone’s task is important; Mr. Dragon Armor’s task is even more crucial than ours. Whether we can successfully complete the Bright Society’s task depends on Mr. Dragon Armor.”

Dragon Armor tightened his face and solemnly said:

”In that case, time waits for no one. I’ll start looking for the world will immediately. You two be careful as well.”

After Dragon Armor left, Lizi was somewhat displeased, saying, ”Why be so courteous to a stray dog?”

Both he and Lin Jiang were members of the Four Major Organizations and never regarded Dragon Armor highly.

When Dragon Armor was being pursued by the White Tower and the Evolution Committee earlier, he still had to swallow his pride and beg them, claiming to have bled and done great deeds for the Bright Society. Only then did they reluctantly shelter him.

If it weren’t for Hou Jingchuan’s sudden attack, Dragon Armor would have to bow his head when he saw them, adding an honorific to every sentence, not daring to act as he does now.

Lin Jiang didn’t mind and softly said:

”Ignore him. Fools are fools because they believe they truly have a choice and their choices are the result of their own thoughts.”

”Ha, all the information he knows was told to him by me, and the choices he made were all within my expectations. His only fault is in his attitude, but why bother getting angry over dead men?”

Lin Jiang was not lying; the method to find the world will and the means to stimulate it were true, and were the most prudent methods.

But the problem is that the world will walking toward collapse indicates it’s awakening, constantly eliminating its existing threats.

Lord Mercury said that the closer the world will is to collapse, the more dangerous it becomes.

Dragon Armor walks right into its arms, hoping to stimulate the world will and then escape? ℯ

Stimulate the world will, eliminate Dragon Armor, and simultaneously release what’s inside Dragon Armor into the dungeon plane.

A three-birds-one-stone scenario.

He just doesn’t believe the world will can withstand collapse this time!
