Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

Chapter 474: Chapter 243: Praise Poem Project

”Just yesterday, a powerful hacker infiltrated the Hymn Building, hacked into the company’s servers, and altered a level nine access. Using that access, he stole a vast amount of secrets. If he strikes again, only my level nine and a half access can suppress him, forcefully imprison him in the laboratory so he can’t escape.”

”Wasn’t that you guys?”

Raymond raised his head, and Wu Chang and the others all shook their heads in unison. Colton said, ”The firewall of Hymn Company uses a special encryption method. I’ve tried many times and couldn’t even find a loophole. It should be those people chasing us who did it.”

Mo Ke understood at this moment; this group with extraordinary power seemed to be two factions.

The ones who kidnapped him and the ones who hacked into Hymn Company weren’t the same group.

Raymond laughed after hearing this, ”Then we really have to thank them. If it weren’t for their actions, it wouldn’t have been easy for us to lure you out.”

Mo Ke sat on the chair, his face gloomy.

He initially thought there was that mysterious hacker among Raymond’s group, who discovered the events in Sid Town through server intrusion, knowing he was the true culprit behind the Sid Town massacre.

So he prepared to enter the game himself, deliberately revealing his position, telling Raymond that he had come out.

Raymond, seeking revenge, would certainly enter the second laboratory again, using the method of entering the nest to force him out.

By that time, he could use the level nine and a half access just below Schultz to trap Raymond in the second laboratory and then eliminate them via the nest.

Including sending Gold Medal Employee and Booker beforehand to get entangled also because they thought Raymond was timid, needing to sufficiently distract the Gold Medal Employee before daring to make a move on the second laboratory.

So Mo Ke went along with the plan, intending to show his cards and let Raymond know that the Gold Medal Employee around him was already entangled, indicating it was time to infiltrate the second laboratory.

Unexpectedly, the Gold Medal Employee equipped with Essence Armor was taken down ”barehanded” by Booker and others without Essence Armor.

When he detected something was wrong and prepared to leave, he ran into Wu Chang, leading to the current scene of being captured.

Raymond didn’t intend to waste time and asked:

”Mr. Mo Ke, what does the Praise Poem project mean?”

Mo Ke sneered, ”Did Farrell tell you?”

Raymond remained silent.

Mo Ke said, ”Do you think I’ll tell you? Your hypnosis doesn’t work on me, don’t waste your efforts. If you want revenge, then go ahead and act.”

Raymond tried using his hypnosis ability, but as Mo Ke’s spiritual control didn’t work on him, his ability likewise couldn’t affect Mo Ke.

As Raymond was at a loss, Wu Chang said, ”Maybe I can give it a try.”

He removed the Electromagnetic Master, activated mind resonance, and sent a spiritual shock towards Mo Ke.

Between spiritual ability users, there’s usually no effect due to insufficient spiritual strength on both sides. However, Wu Chang now easily pierced through Mo Ke’s Will barrier with a spiritual shock driven by 162 points of inspiration. If he wanted, he could even directly destroy Mo Ke’s Will, rendering him an imbecile.

After penetrating the Will barrier, Mo Ke was instantly controlled by Wu Chang, who said, ”From now on, you can’t lie or remain silent. You must answer all our questions formally and completely.”

”I’ll ask again, what is the Praise Poem project?”

Mo Ke displayed a struggle on his face, but before long, he was fully controlled, he said with a somewhat dazed look:

”The Praise Poem project is an ability showcase aimed at demonstrating the power of finished Essence Armor, thereby attracting worldwide investment to rapidly develop the second-generation Essence Armor.”

Wu Chang said, ”More detail.”

Mo Ke seemed to abandon resistance and fully disclosed the Praise Poem project.

The starting point of the Praise Poem project lies with Disqualified Monsters and Essence Armor. As Schultz researched these two technologies, he and the Hymn Company’s executives discovered that Essence Armor paired with Spiritual Ability Activation Surgery could evoke extraordinary power already present within the human body.

This power surpasses the human body, achieving many of the deeds only Gods in myth could accomplish. In other words, wielding this power could allow humans themselves to become Gods.

However, the problem lies in the currently weak special abilities evoked by Essence Armor, which, although strong in single combat, have a lesser impact and destructive power externally compared to Disqualified Monsters.

In some sense, Disqualified Monsters resemble the true form of Gods.

If one could combine Essence Armor’s controllability with Disqualified Monsters’ Disqualified Domain, wouldn’t that create a true God?

But problems followed. Researching Essence Armor and Disqualified Monsters already exhausted Hymn Company’s energy, and further research required expansion and external support.

They needed support from the whole world, or at least the entire Federation.

To gain external support, they had to showcase sufficient potential to show the world that Essence Armor technology is the future of humanity. 𝘧𝓇ℯℴ𝓂

Hence, the Praise Poem project was born.

Praise Poem, originally referring to songs written in praise of God, but in Hymn Company’s context, it is written as humanity’s imminent transformation into Gods.

On the path to success, sacrifice is indispensable.

The Praise Poem project, similar to the promotion of spiritual weapons through the Sid massacre, albeit this time the event’s occurrence is not in a small town, but the Federation’s second-largest city, Virdo City.

Or rather, it is precisely because of the impending destruction of Virdo City that it could gain continuous investment, turning from an unknown small city into the second-largest city.
