Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

Chapter 471: Chapter 242: Scientific Super Electromagnetic Cannon

Raymond dialed Mo Ke’s phone, speaking in a tone of urgency:

”Mr. Mo Ke, the whole city is in chaos now, I can’t track those people’s whereabouts.”

Mo Ke was silent for a moment, as if possessed by some kaka, and said, ”Don’t worry about this matter.”

Raymond asked, ”What are you going to do?”

Mo Ke: ”The rioters are no longer ordinary citizens, we must strike hard!”

At this time, Mo Ke had already solved two Disqualified Monsters with his team. Inside the armed helicopter, five Gold Medal Employees remained, and he immediately instructed:

”Tell the police department and the Hymn patrol, when facing the rioters, don’t hold back. Change flight direction, ignore the last Disqualified Monster for now, and deal with the biggest problem first!”

Shortly after Mo Ke issued the command, the voices of Colton and others echoed in the earpieces of Wu Chang and the team.

”Mo Ke took the bait, moving towards Booker’s side, act according to plan!”

Colton, Veronica, and Wu Chang began converging towards Booker, who pretended not to notice Mo Ke, continuing to circle with the armed helicopter in the sky.

Mo Ke’s Iron Fist was extremely effective, the burning obstacles on the streets began to decrease, replaced by pure metal barricades a meter high.

These barricades were extremely tough, and smashing through them would damage Booker’s motorcycle. After breaking three roadblocks, Booker started to feel sorry for his motorcycle and stopped going head-on.

Thus, with the road being blocked and Booker’s deliberate cooperation, Booker was intercepted a block away from the city hall.

When he stopped, a huge sound of rotor blades came from above, and he looked up to see a helicopter two sizes larger than the usual armed helicopter hovering directly above him.

Mo Ke had arrived.

Inside the helicopter, Mo Ke casually said:

”Try to capture him alive.”

The hatch of the armed helicopter opened, and three Gold Medal Employees equipped with Essence Armor jumped down, forming a triangle around Booker.

Booker sneered, raised the massive front wheel, and pressed towards one of them.

Even the elite combat group members of the Iron Armor Corps couldn’t withstand this move, and the Gold Medal Employees only had physical levels in the teens. Even with Essence Armor, could they take it?

Bam!

The sturdy man holding a heavy cannon was directly knocked flying. The man seemed to have taken a solid hit, but the smile on Booker’s face slightly froze because the hit didn’t land solidly. There seemed to be some power protecting the man, absorbing most of the damage. The sharp-bladed tire didn’t even scratch the man’s chest.

Moreover, as the man flew out, he adjusted his posture in mid-air and fired a shot at him.

Booker’s heart palpitated, feeling that if he got hit by this shot, he might die.

He quickly pressed down the motorcycle, tilting it towards the ground, narrowly dodging the shot.

But if he guarded the front, he couldn’t guard the back.

When the sturdy man fired, the two Gold Medal Employees behind Booker also made their moves.

One held an Energy Bracelet, extracting dangerous flashing filaments from it, lashing towards Booker like a whip, while the other took out a shotgun with a grenade launcher attached beneath, firing grenades at Booker.

Seeing Booker about to take a heavy hit, four Knight Cards descended from the sky, piercing the ground in front of him. The four Knight Cards transformed into four knights holding Tower Shields, clad in Plate Armor, protecting Booker behind them.

The Defense Enhanced Knights were enough to withstand an attack from a normal level 30 Player, yet under the lashing of the energy wires, they were neatly split in half.

On the other side, Veronica appeared in front of Booker at some point. Just like blocking Fei Guang’s attack earlier, she reached out and grabbed the grenade directly.

The grenade exploded into a light ball, but the explosive energy was entirely absorbed by Veronica, who then aimed her other hand at the wire-wielding woman, unleashing a fierce light wave that blasted the woman away.

Veronica’s Reincarnation Skills were Energy Absorption and Release. The essence armor of the wire-wielding woman was tangible, a type she wasn’t adept at handling, thus she needed to be dealt with first.

In a three-on-three, the first round of confrontation, Booker slightly gained the upper hand.

But for everyone involved, unless it was absolute dominance, it was a significant disadvantage.

Booker steadied his motorcycle and reminded:

”Be careful, their attacks are strange, don’t take them head-on.”

Colton shuffled his cards, his face gloomy, and even without Booker’s reminder, he had noticed.

Someone felt it deeper than Colton, Veronica rubbed the back of her hand against her nose, leaving a stain of blood on her white glove.

”You’re too late.”

The energy content of the grenade just now wasn’t much, far from her Energy Absorption limit, but it contained a Special Energy within the explosion that penetrated her ability, causing significant harm.

However, fortunately, that kind of energy was indiscriminate, and the wire-wielding woman she blasted away had already lost consciousness.

Booker also realized this and added, ”They have some kind of Special Protective Energy, but it gets countered by their own attacks.”

Veronica nodded, these Gold Medal Employees were glass cannons, all having high attack but low defense. Once their defenses were pierced, they could be easily dealt with.

The remaining two relied entirely on energy attacks, exchanging injury for injury, which she could manage.

”Leave it to me...”

Before Veronica finished speaking, two more people jumped from the armed helicopter.

Using their momentum from falling and assisted by thrusters on their backs, their speed was incredibly swift. They drew out black Great Swords from behind and slashed at Booker from left and right in a crisscross fashion.
