The Horror of the Internet1No one in the world expected Saint Ma to go into food delivery, especially since Eagle Country was in such disarray internally.

Originally, everyone’s attention was on the verbal sparring between Eagle Country and its neighbor, as the Eagle Country President declared his intention to annex Maple Leaf Country and Greenland. Then Saint Ma also joined the verbal sparring.

This was almost unimaginable in the 21st century—a country’s leader openly claiming to annex another country’s territory. Even more unimaginable was that this came from the mouth of the leader of a country that claimed to be the world’s number one beacon.

It was like Tang Monk suddenly not wanting to retrieve scriptures and instead clamoring to become a demon.

So everyone was very surprised by Saint Ma’s sudden foray into the Dragon Country food delivery industry.

Soon, after gaining enough attention, Saint Ma issued a statement: he would land OpenAI in the Dragon Country food delivery industry to improve the employment environment for Dragon Country delivery riderss.

For a time, Saint Ma’s voice echoed throughout the Dragon Country’s internet.

That man, he truly is a model of human morality.

Other people’s entrepreneurs care about the public, while ours constantly encourage us to 996.

Thank you, Saint Ma. My future goal is to deliver food to save money to buy a Tesla.

Lin Yuan was very curious about how Saint Ma created his persona and how he managed to have so many followers in Dragon Country, despite the cultural differences. Most importantly, these followers didn’t require money to maintain.

Brilliant, truly brilliant.

Lin Yuan, with his system, hadn’t even thought of such a method for building a persona yet.

’What Saint Ma? It should be Lin Yuan, alright. It was my idea.’

However, Saint Ma was still very considerate; he quickly announced the Chief AI Technical Officer of Tesla’s food delivery division—Lin Yuan.

Why did Lin Yuan admire Saint Ma? This was why.

Because he acted decisively.

A person whose biggest hobby was launching rockets didn’t have time to scheme and plot with you all day.

As a result, internet users worldwide were baffled. Who is Lin Yuan?

Lin Yuan appeared on the world media’s hot search for the first time.

Initially, everyone thought Lin Yuan should be an Eagle Country citizen of Dragon Country descent, as Dragon Country people had excellent bloodlines, and not a few did well in Eagle Country’s tech industry.

But after Saint Ma released Lin Yuan’s resume, everyone was stunned.

Damn, he was actually a native-born Dragon Country person, without even any overseas study experience.

This silenced many of the naysayers on the domestic internet who had been touting how great Eagle Country’s AI was, only for the Chief AI Technical Officer responsible for Tesla’s food delivery to be a native-born local.

However, these people quickly found a new narrative—this was Saint Ma’s promotion, Saint Ma’s cultivation of the domestic AI field.

Lin Yuan was completely speechless. ’Damn, I must learn this remote farming technique from Elon.’ This made even a cheater like him shed tears.

With Saint Ma’s push, Lin Yuan instantly became a big shot in the domestic AI field. His mentor, Professor Zhang, had his phone constantly harassed, with a continuous stream of people seeking to meet Lin Yuan.

Professor Zhang had worked for most of his life and was considered successful and worldly, but he was still shocked by this situation.

Those who sought him out included people from the IT circle and the investment circle; everyone wanted to know Tesla’s considerations for investing in food delivery.

To put it bluntly, everyone wanted to know if Tesla had sniffed out the next big trend, because Saint Ma had hit countless trends.

However, Lin Yuan turned them all down. He planned to take a vacation and then fully devote himself to the great cause of rectifying the food delivery industry.

Meanwhile, Good Group and Lanbiao Factory were in a complete panic.

One second, Good Group’s CEO Wang was still thinking about how to control Lin Yuan.

The next second, Lin Yuan became the big boss in front of them.

At Lin Yuan’s suggestion, Saint Ma directly entered the food delivery industry under the Tesla name, calling it: Tesla Food Delivery. Simple and crude, it was meant to leverage Tesla’s popularity in Dragon Country.

After consulting with a large number of consulting firms, Good Group and Lanbiao Factory finally understood Tesla Food Delivery’s business plan.

They reluctantly realized that Tesla Food Delivery was targeting the high-end food delivery sector, with urban petty bourgeoisie as its target customer group.

Both companies knew that this group had the strongest spending power. Although this group didn’t contribute many food delivery orders, they contributed the majority of the profits because their food delivery order amounts were high.

When the amount is high, the room for operation is high. Food delivery platforms can take a larger commission from merchants.

How could food delivery platforms take a cut from those who only ordered a dozen yuan per meal? Taking too much would easily incite hatred.

Therefore, Good Group and Lanbiao Factory were completely panicked.

If Tesla Food Delivery took off, they could completely stop playing.

It was equivalent to Tesla Food Delivery coming to snatch the meat, leaving them with only the soup.

If other capital had entered the food delivery market, then according to general business logic, these two companies would certainly unite to offer subsidies and exhaust the newcomer.

But Tesla was a giant beast. Competing with Tesla? Come on, what a joke.

Tesla’s rough-finished cars, after being sold for so many years, were still ridiculously expensive, and their cost-effectiveness was a complete mess. To the extent that they left domestic New Energy vehicles far behind in terms of single-car profit.

You couldn’t help but be impressed. The profit from one of their cars was equivalent to the profit from dozens of domestic cars.

So, if Tesla replicated this high-class playstyle, how could Good Group possibly exhaust the other party with subsidies?

Whether in brand influence or capital reserves, Good Group and Lanbiao Factory were mere juniors compared to Tesla.

Seeing that they couldn’t compete head-on, they quickly thought of other methods—information security.

Soon, rumors spread on the domestic internet that Tesla’s entry into food delivery wasn’t really about doing food delivery, but rather to conduct surveying through large amounts of food delivery data and collect Dragon Country’s national economic data.

This hit Tesla where it hurt, as one of the most criticized points about Tesla earlier was its data upload issue.

However, Lin Yuan had long been prepared for this, having already undergone the full baptism of Good Group and Lanbiao Factory.

Since Saint Ma publicly announced Lin Yuan’s appointment, Lin Yuan had also completed the application for verified accounts on major domestic social platforms. His certification was: Chief AI Technical Officer of Tesla Food Delivery.

Lin Yuan quickly released news—all of Tesla Food Delivery’s servers would be deployed domestically and would strictly comply with all national regulations concerning data security.

This way, from a technical perspective, there would be no data security issues. Because all data would be stored on servers, and the servers were all located domestically, then what data security issue could there possibly be?

In fact, Apple played it this way.

But Lin Yuan underestimated the power of the internet trolls.

For a time, the domestic internet was abuzz—Tesla’s food delivery had a big conspiracy, and Lin Yuan, at such a young age, had become a traitor.

This was the first time Lin Yuan experienced the horror of internet violence. His personal image was even made into various memes, and he almost became synonymous with the new era’s traitor.

On the other hand, those who supported Tesla hailed Lin Yuan as the hope for Dragon Country’s future, and Lin Yuan also gained the title of ”Dragon Country’s Little Saint Ma.”

On one side was endless slander, on the other was endless praise.

Lin Yuan was instantly bewildered. This was the internet. The battle of stances was truly terrifying.

However, the domestic tech community still recognized Lin Yuan. Tech professionals generally believed that Lin Yuan’s emergence was a positive sign, indicating that Dragon Country was beginning to have a voice in the international tech community.

Dragon Country must have its own Saint Ma, and Lin Yuan was placed with high hopes by many.
