Key exchangeMusk was truly eager to know the sender of that email.

So he also fueled the topic of ”Finding Musk’s Long-Lost Brother.”

Rarely, this topic made it to the global internet’s hot search.

[Efficiency Minister, King Ma, is looking for his long-lost brother.]

---

After multiple VPN relays, Lin Yuan set up his temporary email server again on an overseas server.

He would never apply for a social platform account to send messages to Musk. Because applying for an account would inevitably require leaving a phone number or contact email, and then receiving a verification code or registration link or something. This would leave too many online traces.

But using his self-built temporary email server would not.

Once used, he would format the entire server, leaving no historical data.

Out of curiosity, Lin Yuan restored the previous email address—the one he used to send the first email to the Mar-a-Lago Old Boy.

Lin Yuan had a hunch that a tech fanatic like Musk, if he truly wanted to find him as he publicly stated, would definitely reply to this email address that he had already canceled.

Because Musk had not publicly disclosed this sender’s email address on social platforms.

This was the only link currently connecting Musk and Lin Yuan.

]

This was the email address Lin Yuan used, which included a very ordinary domain name—domain202401.com.

Such domain names are readily available in the trading market and can be bought with money. Domestic domain name transactions require real-name verification. But internationally...

In short, getting a domain name is easy.

Logically, Lin Yuan should not have used this domain name a second time. Just like he should not have used a certain mobile phone card a second time.

However, he could not suppress his curiosity. And he also needed to contact Musk directly at this moment, otherwise, he could only send emails to that Old Boy’s donation mailbox. Who knew if the other party would help forward it this time. Lin Yuan couldn’t donate ten thousand US dollars in digital currency to the other party every time he sent an email.

Lin Yuan quickly set up the email server and attached the resolution to that domain name.

Two or three minutes later, an email was added to the server’s email database.

Lin Yuan immediately took the server offline.

He opened that email.

As expected, it was a reply from Musk.

[Bro, this is an invitation letter.]

The email subject was empty. Besides this sentence, the content was a very long string of characters and an email address.

Lin Yuan, who works in the IT industry, instantly reacted.

Damn, this string of characters couldn’t be an RSA public key, could it?

RSA.

This is the most widely used asymmetric encryption method in the world today.

Payment platforms, financial institutions, and so on, are almost universally used in any scenario that requires data privacy.

The awesome thing about RSA is its asymmetry—through a pair of keys, public key A and private key B. Zhang San can encrypt with public key A, then send the encrypted result to Li Si, and then Li Si can use private key B to decrypt the encrypted result. He can then get what Zhang San wanted to say.

The encrypted result is public; anyone can see it. Public key A can also be public.

Anyway, simultaneously having the encrypted result and public key A cannot decrypt it; one must have private key B.

And now, Lin Yuan seemed to have received that public key A.

So what did Musk mean by sending this?

He gave public key A to Lin Yuan, so what about private key B? It must be kept by himself.

This, obviously, was to become internet pen pals with Lin Yuan.

Lin Yuan found an RSA signature tool in minutes and also generated a pair of RSA keys, intending to send his public key A over as well. This way, Musk and Lin Yuan could send encrypted data to each other later.

This was a tacit understanding.

Because everything running on the network is public, theoretically it can all be intercepted. Otherwise, the ancient profession of cryptographer would not exist.

Therefore, communication naturally needs to be encrypted.

Lin Yuan quickly sent a reply email.

He sent the subsequent communication method between the two in the form of encrypted data and also sent his public key A.

Then, Lin Yuan immediately blew up this temporary server—completely formatted it.

Lin Yuan did not intend to communicate with Musk via email later; he used an extremely cunning method.

---

Musk intuitively felt that the bro he was looking for would definitely come to him.

So, he kept sending emails to the email source address.

This is like you constantly writing letters to a place called ”Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.” The internet will keep helping you find this place.

And Lin Yuan had just put the domain name of this place online, and with DNS capture, the email was naturally delivered.

Musk was very excited after receiving the email delivery success notification.

Few things could still pique his interest, and launching rockets was a distant and lengthy task. This incredibly mysterious bro in front of him was clearly very interesting.

Soon after, he received a reply.

As expected, the other party understood his meaning.

Musk came from a programming background, and his first startup project was coded by himself.

”Bro, you are indeed my colleague.”

Musk sent a public key A without any additional explanation, and Lin Yuan tacitly returned Lin Yuan’s public key A.

Alright, at this point, the two completed the key exchange.

”Bro, let’s start a pleasant chat.”

Of course, these were all Musk’s soliloquies.

When he wanted to send an email to the other party, he found that the email could no longer be sent.

Old Ma smiled slyly, ”Cunning fellow,” then he famously pursed his lips and said, ”Just like me.”

Musk naturally went to decrypt the other string of characters.

”Bastard! You are truly an extremely cunning fellow.”

Musk would say this because the contact method Lin Yuan proposed between them was truly... outrageous.

The essence of communication is to let the other party see what you send.

For security, Lin Yuan only wanted to send, not receive.

Because sending emails can be done at any time; set up the server, send, and then blow up the server.

But receiving emails is not possible.

Just like before, to receive Musk’s reply, even though the time was very short, it still lasted about three minutes.

And sending only takes less than three seconds. You just need to prepare the server, put it online for three seconds. After sending, one-click destruction.

It’s like you send a text message to someone, and you can pull the card and smash the phone in seconds after sending it.

If you want to receive someone else’s text message, you have to wait.

How many things in this world go wrong because of waiting.

So, Lin Yuan didn’t want to wait.

So, Lin Yuan came up with an outrageous operation—let Musk publicly post the encrypted string on social platforms.

Anyway, it’s useless for the whole world to see it, because only Lin Yuan, who holds private key B, can decrypt it.

At this moment, no amount of worldly money and power could defeat the private key B, representing technology, in Lin Yuan’s hand.

Technology has always been king!

Money and power can only ever grovel at its feet.

This is people’s fear of money and power, forming too many illusions.

[Bro, if you are a physiological female, then I must have a child with you.]

Fortunately, Lin Yuan did not know Musk’s thought.
