Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1892: Demon Extermination Sword Upgrade I

”Where are you going?”

Zhang Fei [5] looked at Gongsun Zhilan. ”It has been exactly two months since my swordsmith friends upgraded my sword, so I’m going there to pick it up. Besides, I recall that Mo Shentian has several sets of demon materials for upgrading to the demon rank, so I’ll head to his domain to get them.”

”If that’s the case, I’ll come with you.”

”Me too.” Hua Qianmei herself was bored of hunting mindless demons in the Myriad Abyss Dungeon.

Zhang Fei [5] nodded and opened the gate leading to the Celestial Demon Domain. ”Let’s go there.”

Once they arrived at the domain, Zhang Fei [5] brought the two women to the Celestial Demon Palace to meet Mo Shentian.

Zhang Fei [5] saw Mo Tianshen and Morgana in the throne room, but they were sitting on the right side, and Mo Zixiao was sitting on the throne. Meanwhile, Mo Zhejun and Mo Shentian sat on the left side, along with the Celestial Demon Guardians.

Mo Zhejun and Mo Shentian looked at Hua Qianmei and Gongsun Zhilan; both men knew the two women were far stronger than them, even though their demon ranks were at the same level.

”Why are you here, Zhang Fei?” Mo Tianshen asked.

”Him.” Zhang Fei [5] walked to the front of Mo Shentian and asked. ”Do you still have the demon material set for upgrading demon rank?”

Mo Shentian’s lips twitched, but he couldn’t refute Zhang Fei [5], and he immediately took out two sets of demon items. ”I used to have three sets, but I already gave one set to Wu Mian.”

Zhang Fei [5] naturally remembered it because Wu Mian handed the demon item set to him when he first took Qi Qingxiu as his wife, and he used those materials to upgrade Zhang Lin’s demon rank.

Without further ado, Zhang Fei [5] took and stored Mo Shentian’s demon items into the system inventory, so his real body could use them to upgrade Jannette and Lillea’s demon ranks. After all, the two dryads were two of his first few wives, so he chose to upgrade their demon ranks before his other wives.

Zhang Fei [5] looked at Mo Tianshen and Morgana. ”Do you two want to return to the Myriad Abyss Domain now?”

”Yes.” Mo Tianshen and Morgana nodded at him. ”We’ve both spent over two weeks in this domain, so we’ll return there to continue our cultivation.”

”That’s good.” Zhang Fei [5] opened the gate, sent them to the Myriad Abyss Domain, and brought Gongsun Zhilan and Hua Qianmei to the Twin Flames Domain.

After they left, Mo Shentian put on a vicious look and gritted his teeth. He had been thinking of ways to free himself from Zhang Fei [5]’s control, but all his efforts were in vain as he had already cloned his soul. He wanted to ask Mo Zhejun for help with that, but his master was too loyal to his enemy.

Since everything was over, Mo Shentian decided to return to his private chambers and summon several female demons, whom he would use to practice the Yin Sacrifice Art. Although he was already under Zhang Fei [5]’s control, and he had lost much of his demon power after passing it on to Mo Tianshen, he refused to give up and worked hard to rebuild his strength.

”What is that floating island?”

Zhang Fei [5] looked at the floating island. ”My sect is on that floating island, but I will move them to the Yin-Yang Immortal Valley once the construction there is finished.”

”Zhang Fei, you should go get your sword, and I will wait for you in your sect with Gongsun Zhilan.”

”Alright.” After lifting the flying restrictions in the domain, Zhang Fei [5] went to the You Clan, and the two female demon gods went straight to the Moonlit Passion Temple.

Since Zhang Fei [5] had already informed Serpentera and Tian Kui about the two female demon gods, Hua Qianmei and Gongsun Zhilan were able to enter the sect easily.

Hua Qianmei and Gongsun Zhilan were truly shocked to see people of all races living in the sect. They could see that most of the sect members were human, but they were quite impressed by the harmony of all the races living there, something they had never seen before.

Hua Qianmei and Gongsun Zhilan also went to the Celestial Yin Lake. They soaked there to try the lake’s benefits, which was quite surprising to them. Even though the Moonlit Passion Temple was located in the Paradise Realm, the Yin Qi within the lake was quite strong even for demon gods like them.

Meanwhile, Zhang Fei [5] had arrived at the You Clan, and he immediately went to meet You Feng and You Jian to retrieve the Demon Extermination Sword.

You Jian handed the sword to him. ”As we promised, your sword is complete, and we successfully upgraded it to the Immortal Grade.”

”Apart from your sword body, the two sword spirits also underwent significant changes,” You Feng said.

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei [5] accepted the sword and rubbed the blade. ”Jian Hei’an and Jian Guang’an.”

Swoosh... Swoosh...

Jian Hei’an and Jian Guang’an immediately came out of the sword. ”Master, we missed you.”

”Hahaha,” Zhang Fei [5] laughed. ”I missed the two of you too! Once we get back, I’m going to dual-soul cultivate with both of you! How do you two feel after the Demon Extermination Sword was upgraded?”

Jian Hei’an stretched out her slender arm. ”As the sword’s power increases, my strength also increases, Master.”

”Master, I have let you down,” Jian Guang’an said dejectedly. ”My strength has indeed increased, but my improvement is not as great as my sister’s.”

Zhang Fei [5] pulled them into his arms and kissed them. ”Guang’an, I understand your desire to help me, but you don’t need to feel disappointed, okay? In my eyes, you two are the same, and I don’t care who is stronger between you guys. If Hei’an is stronger than you now, I will help you catch up with him, so you don’t need to be disappointed.”

”Mhmm.” Jian Guang’an nodded and hugged him. ”I’m glad to have you, Master.”

”I should be the one glad to have you both.” Zhang Fei [5] hugged them. ”You two and the sword have accompanied me since I was very weak, and I can become who I am now thanks to your help, so I will always treasure you.”

”Hehe.” Jian Hei’an and Jiang Guang’an giggle. ”Master, let’s go back to the dungeon, and you can test the new power of the Demon Extermination Sword.”

”Alright.” Zhang Fei [5] looked at You Jian and You Feng. ”Thank you for your help, Seniors.”

”No need.” You Feng waved his hands. ”You’ve helped us a great deal since we moved to this domain, and you’ll be taking us to the Ancient Realm in the future, so we’re happy to help you upgrade your sword.”

You Jian spoke. ”Unfortunately, this is the last bit of help we can offer for your sword, Zhang Fei. We don’t have any information on the materials for crafting supreme-grade artifacts, nor do we have the method, so we won’t be able to help you upgrade your sword to the final rank.”

”No problem.” Zhang Fei [5] looked at his sword. ”The Ancient Realm is vast; I’m sure there is a blacksmith who has the ability to upgrade my sword in one of the domains there. However, I won’t look for that person now, and I will focus on my cultivation for the next ten years.”

”So, when are you going to move us to the Yin-Yang Immortal Valley?”

”All construction of the domain will be completed in about a year, and I’ll take everyone there when everything is done.” Jian Guang’an and Jian Hei’an entered the sword before Zhang Fei [5] stored it in his body. ”Even though there’s still a long time, you guys should start preparing now, and we’ll move to the domain once everything is finished. However, I won’t stay there, and I will live in another domain.”

”Are you going to stay in the Myriad Abyss Domain forever?”

Zhang Fei [5] shook his head. ”After Jiu Jushen and the others are done with all the construction in the Yin-Yang Immortal Valley, they will start rebuilding the Sky Dragon Island, and I will bring all my family and all my wives’ families to live there.”

”I see.” You Feng nodded in understanding. ”In that case, I’ll have everyone prepare now, so we’ll be ready once construction on the domain is complete.”

Zhang Fei [5] nodded at them. ”I’ll return to my sect to pick up some people there.”

After Zhang Fei [5] left, You Feng turned to his brother. ”Meeting that kid is the greatest luck in our lives, Brother.”

”Yes.” You Jian nodded in agreement. ”If it weren’t for him, we would never have known about the Ancient Realm, let alone moved to one of the domains there. By the way, it’s time for you to meet your son, Brother.”

You Feng sighed, remembering that his son was still not willing to return to their clan. ”I will try talking to my son again, and I will ask him to bring Fei Yinglin here.”

”Speaking of the Fei Clan, the situation in their clan seems to have gotten worse after Zhang Fei injured Fei Juechen six and a half years ago. ” You Feng didn’t want to comment on that clan. ”The Zhi Clan also seems to regret not being able to establish good relations with him.”

You Feng couldn’t help but shake his head. ”Zhi Shengyan is stupid, but Lan Yuerong is even more stupid, and the Zhi Clan suffered losses because of them.”

”Let’s not talk about them and go see our parents and grandfather.”

”Let’s go.”
