Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 621, You Bloody Monster!

Translator: Silavin

Not only that, Lu Fan could clearly feel that this sword seemed to have no ‘material limitations,’ though strangely, it was now not only heavier but also more resilient.

Originally, the Flaming Meteor Sword’s blade was made of some kind of metal. But now, after transforming into Starfire Stream, it seemed to have no blade apart from the hilt, which meant that when Lu Fan used it, he could completely disregard whether it could withstand his enormous Strength Attribute.

Lu Fan believes that if he swung the sword with full force right now, it would not be damaged in the slightest.

If he were not in the God’s Tomb Secret Realm, Lu Fan really wanted to properly test Starfire Stream and Piercing Dragon Roar right now, to see just how well these two Legendary Grade weapons could cope with him at his peak.

If they were still not tough enough for Lu Fan to use them comfortably, Lu Fan would go to the auction houses for a few more Weapon Level Enhancement Scrolls, and upgrade them all to around Level 120, which should be about right.

Compared to Weapon Grade Enhancement Scrolls, Weapon Level Enhancement Scrolls were easier to find.

After contentedly putting away Starfire Stream, Lu Fan turned his attention to the last Treasure Map Reward, a Skill Book.

Lu Fan had not acquired any new Skills for quite some time, so he was looking forward to this Skill Book.

After reading through the Skill Book’s description, Lu Fan was delighted. This Skill Book was very practical.

Enslavement Contract
Required Profession: Tamer Type

Skill Description: Active Skill. When used on Monsters, enemy Pets or Summons, can control the target. Control duration and intensity are affected by the difference in total Attributes between both parties.

When used on Players, automatically generates a contract, forcibly establishing a Master-Servant relationship. Duration is affected by the difference in total Attributes between both parties. The Master-Servant relationship will not be affected by distance and can be removed by Cleanse Skills. While the Master cannot forcibly control the Servant’s actions, they can enjoy the Experience Points and Item Rewards obtained by the Servant, and can restrict the Servant’s movement or forcibly summon them.

[This Skill is absolutely overpowered! This is akin to that Black Mage’s second Level 100 Divine Skill. With this, I’ll be able to control Monsters.]

With Lu Fan’s Attributes, he could easily make even Level 120 Epic Bosses work for him in future.

This had extremely strong deceptive potential.

If Lu Fan wanted to kill someone in future, he could use Enslavement Contract to make Monsters do the dirty work. This way, he could completely extract himself from the entire incident and would not be suspected.

After all, a Boss was the one that killed them. What does that have to do with him?

This made the Skill extremely practical, but what delighted Lu Fan most was its effect when used on Players.

Directly obtaining the other Party’s Experience Points and Rewards, while also being able to forcibly summon them or restrict their movement. This basically turned Players into his Pets.

Moreover, this Skill was not affected by distance. This gave Lu Fan the impression that he was becoming a budgeted version of an Ancient God.

After all, Ancient Gods could create their own personalised Slaves, and now, he could create ‘Lu Fan Slaves’ too.

The only thing that annoyed Lu Fan was that this Skill Effect could be removed by Cleanse Skills.

Cleanse Skills were basically possessed by all Support Specialised Professions, which greatly limited the use of this Skill.

Regardless, this Skill was what he happened to need.

So, Lu Fan did not stand on ceremony and directly learnt it. Then, he turned around to look at Li Qingfeng and Yuan Jingang.

The latter two noticed Lu Fan’s gaze turning towards them and immediately felt their backs growing cold, sensing that something terrible was about to happen.

Sure enough, Lu Fan soon flew over to the two of them. They dared not look directly at Lu Fan, slightly lowering their heads in complete submission.

Lu Fan crossed his hands behind his back and smacked his lips, saying. “Tell me, do either of you two know any Cleanse Skills? Or do you have any Cleanse Potions on you?”

The two were greatly puzzled, not understanding why Lu Fan was asking this.

However, they did not dare conceal anything and directly told Lu Fan the truth.

Both of them were Combat Specialised Professions and did not have Cleanse Skills. As for Cleanse Potions, naturally they had brought some along for emergencies.

Lu Fan nodded and extended his hand towards them, demanding all the Potions, not allowing them to keep a single bottle.

Yuan Jingang and Li Qingfeng still did not know what Lu Fan intended to do, but obediently complied.

After the two had handed over all their Potions to Lu Fan, Lu Fan, satisfied with their conduct, said. “Next, I’ll give you two a Buff that will make you even more unbeatable in the God’s Tomb Secret Realm!”

Hearing this, Yuan Jingang and Li Qingfeng initially felt some joy, thinking Lu Fan could make their Attributes dramatically surge. Even if not as high as Lu Fan’s, gaining tens of thousands more in Attribute would be good too.

However, Lu Fan pointed with his hand, and two Enslavement Contracts were placed on Yuan Jingang and Li Qingfeng.

The two did not feel themselves becoming any stronger. After carefully checking the Buffs in their Attribute Panel, their faces immediately turned green.

[Lu Fan, you’re a bloody monster! What happened to the promised Buff? This is clearly a Debuff! All our Experience Points and Rewards automatically go to you! Isn’t this forcing us to work for free!?]

Seeing Yuan Jingang and Li Qingfeng looking like they had eaten dead rats, Lu Fan showed no shame on his face whatsoever. Instead, he smiled and said. “Why are you two making those expressions? I’m making you my Slaves so that if you encounter any danger, I can forcibly teleport you to my location. This way, if you can’t win a fight, you can still escape, then I’ll go help you settle the score. Wouldn’t that make the entire God’s Tomb Secret Realm unbeatable for us?”

Li Qingfeng and Yuan Jingang had only one thought. [Yeah right you blood sucker!]

Though they harboured resentment, the two had no way to show it.

After all, Lu Fan had spared their lives. Even if he took all their Experience Points and Rewards, what complaints could they have at this point? They had technically agreed to his terms to survive.

Just being able to stay alive was already a blessing. So, although the two felt uncomfortable, they did not dare say much.

With this Enslavement Contract in place, Lu Fan did not need these two to constantly follow him. Therefore, Lu Fan planned to split up with them next, farming Monsters in the God’s Tomb Secret Realm while searching for key fragments.

This way, their efficiency would be much higher.
