World Evolution: Starting With The Wind Monarch

After leaving the dungeon, Evan and the others used the teleportation formation and returned to the academy’s teleportation room, where portals leading to different dungeons were located.

”Finally, we are back at the academy! Now, I just want to take a long bath and sleep on a comfortable bed,” Liam said as he stretched his body.

Kevin and the others were also tired after spending several days inside the dungeon, and they wanted to rest as well.

”Let’s go back to our rooms and get some rest. We’ll meet at dinner time,” Alice said, and everyone began walking toward the exit of the teleportation room.

When they reached the exit, Evan noticed that the same Rank Four guard he had seen when he first entered the teleportation room was still sitting there, reading the same book.

Seeing the same book in his hands, Evan couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.

’Is this guy a slow reader?’

Shaking his head, he stopped thinking about it and left the academy building.

A few minutes later, Evan returned to his room, while Alice and the others went back to their own rooms.

Immediately after entering his room, the first thing he did was take a long bath, as his body was still covered in the Wyvern’s blood.

Once he had cleaned himself, he left the bathroom, put on some clothes, and jumped onto the soft bed.

”So good...”

He rubbed his face against the soft pillow and sighed contentedly. He felt that he really needed to keep a soft bed inside his Storage Ring so that he could enjoy a comfortable sleep even in the wilderness.

”Now that I have a big Storage Ring, keeping a few spare beds inside shouldn’t be a problem,” Evan muttered before sitting up and taking out the reward he had received earlier.

---) Wyvern Armor (Epic-Grade): An armor made from the scales of a Dark Wyvern. Upon equipping it, the user will receive 30% less physical and magical damage. While wearing this armor, the user’s Health and Stamina increase by 70 points. Once a day, the user can activate the skill ’Wyvern Authority’.

---) Wyvern Authority: Upon activation, the armor negates 80% of the physical damage the user receives for five seconds.

Evan read the details of the Wyvern Armor, and his eyes lit up with joy.

The fact that he could negate 30% of both physical and magical damage was already incredible.

But the armor also increased his Health and Stamina by 70 points and granted him a powerful skill like Wyvern Authority.

’Should I really use it to feed the Wolf Robe?’ Evan hesitated as he looked at the Wyvern Armor.

If he fed this Epic-Grade armor to the Wolf Robe and it didn’t evolve, it would be a huge loss for him.

Even if Wolf Robe didn’t evolve, he knew there would be some changes to the Wolf Robe after it devoured such a powerful piece of armor. However, he wasn’t sure whether those changes would allow his Wolf Robe to reach the same level as the Wyvern Armor.

Evan stared at the armor for a few seconds before taking a deep breath.

”Whatever. It’s not like I won’t get more armor in the future. If it doesn’t evolve after devouring this one, I’ll just feed it a few more...” He said to himself before taking out the Wolf Robe, which he had taken off before his bath.

He placed the Wolf Robe on the bed and then laid the Wyvern Armor on top of it.

The instant the Wyvern Armor touched the Wolf Robe, the eyes of the wolf engraved on the robe began to glow and despite being an Epic-Grade artifact, the Wyvern Armor immediately started melting into a liquid that was devoured by the wolf.

’Please evolve,’ Evan prayed as he watched the Wyvern Armor slowly turn into a purple liquid and get absorbed by the Wolf Robe.

Gradually, the color of the dark-black Wolf Robe began to change, and a faint hint of purple appeared across its surface.

After a minute, the entire Wyvern Armor had disappeared, completely absorbed by the Wolf Robe.

As soon as the armor vanished, Evan’s heart began to beat faster.

’Please evolve...’

He repeated the same words in his mind over and over again as he stared at the robe.

As if the heavens had answered his prayers, the entire Wolf Robe suddenly transformed into a dark-purple liquid, and the surrounding Mana rushed toward it.

”Yes!” Evan couldn’t help but shout when he saw this.

The purplish-black liquid continued absorbing Mana, and this time, the process lasted for ten minutes.

After ten minutes, the liquid stopped absorbing Mana and began solidifying again.

Evan watched the entire process without blinking and after another minute, the liquid finally transformed back into a robe.

When the new Wolf Robe appeared before him, Evan took a deep breath as he examined its completely different appearance.

Previously, the robe had been pitch black with a few golden outlines, and a wolf was engraved on its back.

But after evolving, its color had changed from pitch black to purplish black, and dragon-scale-like patterns had appeared all over its surface, giving it a unique appearance.

The wolf engraved on its back was still there, but it looked far more imposing than before.

Evan picked up the new Wolf Robe with shining eyes and examined its details.

---) World Devourer Wolf Robe: A robe-type armor that negates 40% of both physical and magical damage received. Upon equipping it, the user’s Health and Stamina increase by 100 points each. The armor possesses the abilities of Self-Repair and Shape-Changing. Once a day, the user can activate the skill ’Immortal Body’.

---) Immortal Body: Upon activation, the user becomes immune to all types of attacks, whether physical, magical, or spiritual, for three seconds.

---) Self-Healing: Any damage sustained by the World Devourer Wolf Robe can be repaired by using Mana.

---) Shape Changer: The World Devourer Wolf Robe can change its shape according to the user’s imagination.

[Note: The World Devourer Wolf Robe can evolve by devouring artifacts of the same type. After evolving to Legendary-Grade, there is a chance that it will become ????]

Evan read the details of his newly evolved Wolf Robe, and the first thing he noticed was that its name had changed.

Previously, it had been called the Devourer Wolf Robe. But now, its name had changed to the World Devourer Wolf Robe.

And as he read the details of his evolved armor, his heart couldn’t help but leap with joy.

”Now that I have this armor, I can even consider going head-to-head against a Level 100 Peak Rank Two Evolver...” He muttered with shining eyes, feeling incredibly excited.

”Immortal Body...”

He repeated the name of the skill that excited him the most and grinned from ear to ear.

This skill was truly overpowered. After activating it, he would become immune to every type of damage, and no one would be able to harm him for three seconds.

Not to mention, simply wearing this armor would permanently reduce all physical and magical damage he received by 40%.

Evan took several deep breaths to calm his excitement and held the Wolf Robe tightly in his hands.

”A armor like this... I’m afraid that even ordinary Legendary-Grade armor might not be as good as this one, let alone Epic-Grade ones.”
