Warhammer Divine Throne

PS: I’ve considered and decided that Master Ma’s name should be slightly distinguished from that of a certain car brand, so from now on Master Ma’s name will be unified as Mazda Moody.

In the tropical rainforest, the dreadful duel continues. Despite Fugen’s injuries putting him at a disadvantage under the sneak attack of the Hand of the Gods, Kuga still finds it extremely hard to defeat him.

The duel between the Lords continues, but the war between the Lizardman Legion and the human army has come to a halt.

After a bloody struggle, both sides are extremely fatigued. The human army has been reduced to two thousand five hundred men, barely maintaining order with Fugen’s personal charisma and strong discipline. The losses of the Lizardman Legion also exceed Kuga’s tolerance, with large piles of Lizardman Warrior corpses strewn across the swamps and woods near the ruins.

The remaining Lizardman Warriors are also experiencing thirst, hunger, and fatigue; these servants of the Ancient Saints are indeed not immune to exhaustion and the need for food.

The Spirit Lizard Priest received orders from Lord Mazda Moody, signaling the Lizardman Legion to cease fire and retreat about five hundred meters, encircling the humans.

”Stay vigilant, replenish water and food as soon as possible! You can rest temporarily before the Lizardmen charge again! But don’t remove your armor or put down your weapons!” Deputy Legion Commander Pilazzo loudly commands the soldiers.

The human soldiers exhaled a sigh of relief and took the time to rest.

Many soldiers’ eyes still watched Fugen and Kuga’s duel with concern, as the duel between the Legion Commander and that Lizardman Lord continues. Due to the injuries caused by the Hand of the Gods and caution toward this powerful weapon, Fugen is obviously at a disadvantage. However, there are no signs of defeat from him.

The clash of glory and the Venerable God Spear sparks countless flames, the humans can hardly see the confrontation clearly, only catching glimpses of blurred lights and shadows.

”War Leader, Lord Mazda Moody demands you to cease fire! The human before you is a Son of the Ancient Saint!” the Spirit Lizard Priest shouted at Kuga who was in fierce battle with Fugen.

”No! He must be a Divine Chosen Champion of Slaanesh! Such power couldn’t possibly belong to an ordinary human. He must be a servant of Chaos!” Kuga firmly refused to cease fire, insisting on eliminating this formidable enemy!

He awaits the next charge of the Hand of the Gods.

”He is a normal human, there are no signs of corruption on him!” The Spirit Lizard Priest already sensed that there were no traces of corruption on Fugen.

”That’s just his disguise!” Kuga continuously refused to cease fire.

This War Leader might be the only Lizardman with the authority to refuse the Spirit Lizard Priest’s demand because he is a member of the Holy Council, otherwise, all Lizardman Warriors would unconditionally obey the Spirit Lizard Priest’s commands.

Fugen did not understand the Lizardman language; he just continued battling Kuga, their fight was fierce and relentless.

At this time, the sun began to set.

The Spirit Lizard Priest couldn’t persuade Kuga to change his mind, so he had to begin casting spells to report to Lord Mazda Moody.

In Sun City, thousands of Temple Guards had already assembled, along with the Armored Dragon Legion equipped with Sun Engines and resurrection crystals, and the Divine-Blessed Tyrannosaur Legion gathered on the enormous plaza before the Temple Pyramid.

The awakened Shilan Demon Toad Great Lord Mazda Moody sat upon the Golden Throne.

”Master Mazda Moody, War Leader Kuga has refused the order to cease fire,” Maintainer Isis whispered to Mazda Moody, ”He persists in believing the opponent is a Divine Chosen Champion of Slaanesh, obstructing the Great Plan.”

”...” Lord Mazda Moody shook his head and signaled to the Temple Guards to bring his mount—an Ancient Triceratops Zelarach.

Mazda Moody is the most powerful Demon Toad Lord among the living Shilan, more esteemed than any other. In the inception of creation, Mazda Moody was a student of the first generation’s most formidable Demon Toad, Master Crok, receiving direct mentorship and being appointed as the successor.

After Master Crok perished in battle, the Holy Council decided to appoint Master Mazda Moody as the Great Lord Shilan.

Rarely does anything require the activation of Mazda Moody, as it often only needs to wave an arm or utter a spell to annihilate an entire army—two hundred years ago, a human explorer named Cortes founded a colony in Lustria, leading a massive colonial army to excavate Ancient Saint relics, and this mighty Demon Toad resolved the issue with just a wave of the hand.

An earthquake erased the entire colony and all its residents from history.

”The Son of the Ancient Saint is part of the Great Plan... Star signs show there are four Sons of the Ancient Saint active in the world,” Master Mazda Moody murmured, ”The world is undergoing change, the Son of the Ancient Saint is closely connected with our survival.”

”Within three lunar cycles, a Son of the Ancient Saint will arrive at our city; his arrival is an omen, we need to alter, redefine the Great Plan!” The Demon Toad sat atop the Golden Throne, lowered its head in contemplation of countless matters.

The forces of stars and origins swirled around Mazda Moody, whose projection in Subspace resembles a dazzling morning star, its powerful soul’s every move is a wave of energy tides, the black cobra scepter held in its hand, Master Mazda Moody fell into deep thought.

The arrival of the Son of the Ancient Saint signifies that the Great Plan must change; the formidable combat prowess exhibited by the Son of the Ancient Saint brings satisfaction to Mazda Moody. Only a strength comparable to Kuga is qualified to be part of the Great Plan.
