Vampire Progenitor System

A Few Weeks Later – The World Moves Again

The skies were normal again.

No more rips. No more red lightning. No more monsters crawling out of fog.

Just clouds. Just sun. Just the kind of quiet that didn’t make your heart race.

But even though the world had calmed, it hadn’t gone back to the way it was.

Not really.

Cities were still full of scaffolding and cranes. Roads were being dug up and relaid. Streets had that strange smell of fresh paint, melted asphalt, and iron from broken pipes. Places that had once been neighborhoods were now rows of tents and temporary homes. The damage from that final clash had left scars across continents, and while the fighting had ended, the healing was only just beginning.

News helicopters buzzed above the reconstruction zones, broadcasting headlines like:

”Humanity Rebuilds: Recovery Efforts in Full Swing.”

”World Leaders Break Silence on Supernatural Revelation.”

”Monsters Are Real—And So Are the Ones Who Fought Them.”

But it wasn’t just news coverage.

It was debates.

It was outrage.

It was fear.

And it was fascination.

All over the world, people were talking. Loud. Messy. Unfiltered.

—

Tokyo, Japan

A man in a business suit stood at a street corner, being interviewed by a reporter.

”I don’t care if they helped save the world. If these people—vampires, demons, whatever—have that kind of power, how do we know they won’t destroy it next time?”

Beside him, a younger girl shook her head. ”That’s not fair. I saw one of them risk his life to protect a school full of kids. They’re not all dangerous.”

—

New York, USA

A viral video showed a teenage girl hugging a wounded werewolf in the middle of a collapsed building. She looked at the camera and said:

”He saved my brother when no one else would. I don’t care what he is. He’s a hero.”

—

Rome, Italy

A priest spoke on live television, voice calm and measured:

”This is not the end times. But it is a test. One of unity... and understanding.”

Social media was a mess.

Conspiracies flew wild. Some said the monsters were part of an ancient prophecy. Others claimed governments had known about them for decades. A few even accused the supernatural clans of staging everything to claim power.

But the loudest, clearest message came from the global governments.

They wanted answers.

Geneva, Switzerland – World Leaders’ Summit Announcement

A massive press conference took place under the open sky. Cameras flashed. Reporters scrambled for front-row seats. Behind the podium stood the newly formed World Crisis Committee, a mix of military leaders, top scientists, and elected officials from every continent.

President Malakov, tall and calm, leaned into the mic.

”We are not at war with the supernatural world. But we will not pretend this world has not changed forever. We invite the leaders of all known supernatural factions—vampires, witches, demons, spirits, and more—to a global meeting. Here. One week from today.”

He looked into the cameras.

”No more shadows. No more secrets. We talk now—or we prepare for worse.”

Elsewhere, broadcasts continued.

In living rooms, coffee shops, and public squares, people watched documentaries about the war.

Clips of battles played on loop. A viral animation on NetSpace showed a stylized version of the final fight, casting the Origin Clan as legends.

Kids bought toys of spirit beasts and vampire warriors. Posters of Temmy’s beast hung in arcades. Ruka’s flame punch became a popular game move.

But not everyone celebrated.

Protests broke out in some cities. Human supremacists formed groups, demanding all non-human beings be identified and registered. Some towns put up ”Human Only” signs at their borders. Fear didn’t fade easy.

Still... there was hope.

You could see it in the way Mob helped rebuild a library with some vampire workers. In the way Angel trained young humans on how to defend themselves—not from supernatural people, but with them. In the way Ken and Francisca handed out supplies.

Even Ella, though still grieving, had joined efforts to track down remaining rogue monsters. Her anger had sharpened into purpose.

The world was different.

Broken, yes.

But not beyond saving.

And now, with the greatest truth laid bare...

The next Chapter of history was ready to be written.

Together—or apart.

That decision would be made... at the summit.

Origin HQ – The Living Room

The rain tapped gently against the high windows.

Soft. Constant. Like the world was trying to say something but didn’t know how.

Lucifer sat on the edge of the couch, arms resting on his knees, fingers loosely locked together. His eyes weren’t focused on anything in particular—just drifting. The TV was on, low volume, showing news coverage about the upcoming summit. He didn’t care. Not tonight.

The room was quiet, save for the occasional creak of the old floorboards and the hum of distant conversation somewhere deeper in the mansion.

Things had shifted.

Since she showed up.

Since Lilith returned.

It was like a piece of the past had come crashing down into the middle of his present, and he hadn’t figured out how to push it out... or if he even could.

Ruka had already backed off. He didn’t say it out loud, but Lucifer knew. That fire Ruka once had—his need to fight, to demand answers from Lilith—it was gone. Not because he forgave her. Just... tired. Some battles weren’t worth the scars anymore. Especially when the person on the other end stood on a whole different plane.

But that wasn’t what haunted Lucifer.

Not really.

It was what happened before they left the white space she led them to. That endless place of calm, light, and truth.

He had waited until the others stepped through the exit. Until it was just him and her.

Then, quietly, like it had been sitting in his throat his whole life, he asked her.

”Is my father the Vampire Progenitor?”

Lilith didn’t blink.

She didn’t flinch.

She just nodded.

Once.

That was all he needed.

That was all he had feared.

That everything he had become—everything he had clawed and bled for—wasn’t an accident.

He wasn’t just some orphan chosen by fate, picked out by the system like a lottery ticket.

No.

It had always been inside him.

The bloodline.

The power.

The weight.

The curse.

The system wasn’t random.

It was his father’s gift.

A final seed planted before vanishing. A silent way of passing on what couldn’t be taught, only awakened. Maybe the system had been waiting for his death all along. Maybe that was the trigger—his rebirth. The moment the chains broke, and the truth poured in.

Now it all made sense.

The hunger.

The rage.

The control.

Why the blood answered to him before he even understood what it was.

Why the night felt like home.

Lucifer leaned back, letting his head fall against the cushion, staring at the ceiling.

He let out a slow breath.

No anger.

No tears.

Just... clarity.

”Of course,” he muttered to himself.

The room answered with silence.

He closed his eyes.

Maybe he wasn’t born to become the Vampire Progenitor.

Maybe he was the Vampire Progenitor, all along.

And the world was finally catching up.
