Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 477: Chapter 475: Shaya’s Help

After leaving Isabella’s territory, Gu Xi made up his mind that the next target must be dealt with directly, without giving the other party a chance to speak.

Everyone has their reasons for this and that.

But Gu Xi needs to complete the mission now.

He’s not here to play judge in a competition of misery.

He doesn’t have that much time or misplaced compassion.

After taking this direction, Gu Xi immediately bypassed a mountain and arrived near another hill.

Inside this mountain, there was also a deceased faculty member.

This faculty member was a pet doctor, helping the academy’s students treat their sick pets.

Of course, he couldn’t handle some of the more powerful pets.

What he could do was raise some mice, frogs, and owls, etc.

However, after the upheaval at the Mysterious Academy, this place had turned into a pet graveyard.

When Gu Xi arrived here, what he saw was a ground full of bones.

”The faculty here shouldn’t be much of a problem now, summon them to fight.”

Gu Xi raised the Cold Wind Staff and was about to cast a Soul Summoning Skill onto the ground.

Just then, Gu Xi suddenly heard Shaya’s voice.

”Sir, why are you here?”

Gu Xi glanced at Shaya, ”Are you gathering intelligence here?”

”Yes, Jason here is nice, and the little animals under his command are very capable, they can gather lots of information.

But sir, didn’t you return to Yalidu City?

Why did you come back so soon?”

Gu Xi quickly explained his mission and said, ”I’m selecting a suitable target to attack.”

”Ah, it’s fortunate that you ran into me. If you had taken action against Jason, you might have become enemies with many people afterward.

The little animals Jason raises are the best recreation for many of the faculty members.

Without these little animals, many faculty members would have already lost themselves after becoming undead.”

”Alright, it’s good that you came early, have you found a suitable target for me to attack in your round here?”

When asked by Gu Xi, Shaya thought of a few existences.

”Yes, if you head from here about twenty miles away, there’s a Level 10 Sewn Monster. He was the blacksmith in the academy, but after he died, he’s remained hard to communicate with, attacking anyone who gets close.

”There’s still a blacksmith in the academy?”

Gu Xi was a bit curious, the academy was already quite surprising to him being so large.

He didn’t expect there to even be a dedicated blacksmith in the academy.

”Of course, I’ve heard that in the Crocodile Department back then, anyone who touched the Sword of Leadership, whether they used a sword or not, would go to the blacksmith to forge a longsword of their own, to prove what they had learned.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi thought for a moment, then said, ”That means I should also go to a blacksmith to forge a longsword since I’ve learned the Leadership Skill.”

”But sir, you haven’t encountered the Sword of Leadership.”

”Same thing, I’ll see if he acknowledges that I’ve learned the Leadership Skill.”

Gu Xi waved at Shaya, riding the Evil Coffin towards the location Shaya mentioned.

After bypassing a mountain, moving southwest for about twenty miles, Gu Xi saw the blacksmith turned Sewn Monster.

The Sewn Monster in front of him was not much different from other Sewn Monsters, but on his body, there were clearly two arms specifically meant for blacksmithing.

One of these arms was modified into a pincer, and the other had simply become an iron hammer. Clearly, even as an undead, he hadn’t forgotten his duties.

However, the situation in front of him was quite wrong. His stomach had a considerable crack, through which a mass of limbs could be seen piled inside.

Upon seeing Gu Xi’s arrival, the Sewn Monster let out a loud roar.

”Meat, top quality meat!”

Then he raised his hammer and charged forth.

”Wraith Whiskers!”

Gu Xi immediately restrained this guy.

Gu Xi could tell at a glance that this Sewn Monster belonged to the category of physical attackers.

His defense power might be very high, and his life force very long.

But as long as the opponent couldn’t get close, even with Gu Xi’s current Mana, he could slowly wear out this guy.

”Move around him!”

Gu Xi tapped the Evil Coffin and then started casting spells at the Blacksmith Sewn Monster.

”Magic Divine Arrow!”

”Bone Spike!”

”Bone Storm!”

”Flame Trap!”

Gu Xi cast spell after spell, each one accurately hitting the Blacksmith Sewn Monster.

However, the effect of the spells on the Blacksmith Sewn Monster wasn’t very high.

With the added ice and flame effects of the Magic Divine Arrow, it could only deal 3 to 5 damage points to the Blacksmith Sewn Monster.

Even Gu Xi’s big weapon, Bone Storm, could only leave white marks on the Blacksmith Sewn Monster’s body and couldn’t bring more than 1 point of damage.

Every time the Blacksmith Sewn Monster faced the Bone Storm, he would close his eyes, and charge straight through.

As for the Flame Trap, it was even less of a concern for the Blacksmith Sewn Monster.

He could even step on it to extinguish the flames.

But in Gu Xi’s mind, he wasn’t focused on attacking the enemy right now, he had only one thought.

I’ll use you to practice my spells.

Wait until I deplete my Mana below 100 points.

The Blacksmith Sewn Monster didn’t know Gu Xi’s thoughts.

After being hit several rounds by Gu Xi, he was also getting a bit annoyed.

He then raised his hammer and smashed it heavily onto the ground.

As he did so, the ground shook.

The Evil Coffin’s movement speed slowed down a bit.

Gu Xi also felt as if he was weighed down by a thick layer of iron armor, feeling almost pressed to the ground.

Gu Xi checked his status.

He discovered that he had been unaware of being cast with the Iron Armor Curse.

This was a buff type spell, after being endowed with this spell, Gu Xi could resist most attacks under 20 damage points.

Damage under this level hitting him would only cause at most 1 forced damage, with the rest being blocked.

This situation made Gu Xi realize something was wrong.

Then he noticed that a new spell was about to hit him.

”Jump away!”

Gu Xi shouted immediately.

The Evil Coffin reacted quickly, dodging the spell with a swift flash.

Then Gu Xi looked at the Blacksmith Sewn Monster.

The spell just now was obviously off, and he no longer wished to delay.

He turned his hand over and lifted the Cold Wind Staff as the Blacksmith Sewn Monster was about to start a new spell.

”Death Incarnation!”
