Triple X System

Taking a step, Reze disappeared from spot. Simultaneously Kyle raised his arm, crossed in an x in front. Just barely with enough time to dodge the unseen attack befalling him.

’She’s fast.’ Kyle handed it to Reze, staring at both his arms with a deep cut drawing out warm blood.

’That new suit will definitely be more challenging than I had anticipated.’ He slightly frowned with a gall yet intrigued expression.

”If this is all you have to offer as the victor of the legendary-” Her words were cut short with the sudden emergence of Kyle.

Closed the distance between them in a flash, his fist directed to her head.

”Slow.” Reze barely uttered tilting her head to the side a bit. Avoiding Kyle’s incoming fist, moving at a much slower speed processed by the black suit.

Swiftly moving her arms, which were transformed black blades. She slashed at Kyle’s open arm, creating severe damage to his elbow joint. Cutting through his flesh with ease stopping before his bone.

Not stopping, she twisted her body with blinding speed. Delivering a non evasive kick to Kyle’s chest, generating a crack sound from a broken rib. Shooting his body back some distance.

Grunting, Kyle firmly planted his feet to the ground. Digging his lep to the solid floor, to stop his momentum and a certain collision with the crowd behind him.

[I hate to be a party pooper but you’re running low on stamina and getting your butt handed to you by a woman.] Snow specified, adding salt to injury.

”Geez~ Thanks for the insight.” Kyle grumbled, regaining his balance.

He could see Reze standing there, staring in his direction. Which was weird, questioning why she didn’t attack but waited?

”You’ve stopped, good. As I said earlier, I’m disappointed in your performance within these 5 seconds. Not only have you failed to land a hit on me, but also dodged any of my attacks. Why?” She calmly asked, making her way towards Kyle.

”I was just getting warmed up.” A wild grin crept to his curved lips, stained with his own blood.

Walking, he matched with Reze pace. Wiping the blood from his mouth, a cocky grin plastered to his face. ’If she tends to play dirty, I might as well follow her lead.’

Increasing her pace from walking to running, she arched both her blade arms back a bit. Sprinting towards Kyle with killing intent, her feet picking up pace with ease step she made. Making her body go faster, than earlier.

Filling the gap, she slashed her left arm blade in an upward motion. Causing Kyle to twist his body to the side, avoiding the attack. Using her free right hand she plunged it forward to his guts, the sharp tip cut through the air making swooshing sounds. Headed for his guts.

Unfazed Kyle didn’t bother dodging by leaping back or blocking. Instead, doing the most bizarre thing a normal human would never think of.

’Squelch.’

The arm blade tore through his flesh like paper, protruding out the back of his guts. Piercing through his kidney organ and damaging some intestines.

”Phough!” Kyle coughed out a mouthful of blood, gripping the arm blade tightly stuck in his insides.

’He took the attack head on?’ Reze watched with wide eyes beneath the armour helment, not anticipating this move from Kyle.

She could tell he was fast, even catching up with her speed. Which was a great feat on it’s own, but her speed still far surpassed his. And she wasn’t going all out, but testing Kyle’s skills.

”Phough! N-nice suit.” Kyle complimented, flashing a weak smile at Reze.

’D-did he just compliment my suit?’ It wasn’t a hidden fact she’d punctuatured some vital organs, which would’ve been lethal to non ability individuals and common folks.

Instantly meaning death. Which was also the case for ability users, taking into consideration they were humans at the end of the day.

But not only was this young man not dead, but defying all odds by standing on his feet.

’What are you?’ She inwardly questioned with piqued interest observing Kyle.

’At first I could sense his presence was alien, with a more darker shade. But now my theory checks out he is indeed peculiar like the king.’

With a low chuckle, she slightly shook her head. Pulling out the blade from Kyle’s gut, causing him to since in pain. Sharply exhaling some air, pressing his hand to the injured spot in attempt to stop the bleeding.

”S-she got him!” Layla excitedly cheered, watching Reze land a deadly blow to Kyle.

She’d been nervous from the start of the fight, judging Kyle was no ordinary opponent but an unpredictable foe. Making the genius scientist task more daunting. But she never did loose faith in who the victor would be.

”Phew~ She actually managed to beat him.” Xeblo sighed in relief, seeing the storm had passed. His fragile heart couldn’t bear anymore suspense from that wolf in sheep clothing.

”Luckily, it seems there are also monsters defying the laws of physics on our side.” Brazen commented still stunned, unable follow Reze and Kyle’s movements.

”Something’s not right.” Melo interjected, sensing a flaw in Reze victory.

”A-are you seriously saying he’s got some hidden tricks up his sleeve? He literally had miss Reze blade impale his insides seconds ago!” Brazen pointed out, his tone a bit high pitched not believing melo’s incredulous nature.

”Melo’s right.” Fiona butted in. Just like the rest of the crowd, she took had been glued to the fight between Kyle and Reze.

”From the start of the fight it was determined whom the victor was. Until these last events. Though their speed couldn’t be gauged, something within me tells me the outcome of this match isn’t over.” She spoke with confidence, further sending brazen in a state of disbelief.

....

”It’s impressive how you’re still not dead from my attack.” Reze smirked with canning skepticism.

”If my calculations are correct, which they always are. Your kidney and large intestines should be damaged, which translates to death even for stronger foes.” She stated, concluding the end of this brief mashup.

”I wouldn’t be so cocky if I was you.” Kyle replied with gritted teeth, standing upright.

”I-impossible~” Reze stuttered in stupor, noting Kyle’s bleeding had stopped.

His flesh stitching back together like magic, and even his mutilated organs had embarked on a slow healing process.

”You’re healing yourself without any external source. How?” She interrogated dumbfounded.

As a scientist she was well aware of the limitations of a human body. Yes, we possessed self healing, only to minor injuries without proper medical attention. There was no way the human system posed the chances of repairing itself, from a wound with such high fatality rate. Not to talk more of self regeneration of organs.

It just wasn’t in the physiology of humans!

But what Kyle achieved just now, defied not only the laws of nature but science itself.

”I wouldn’t worry about that if I were you.” A light smile formed to Kyle’s face, making Reze raise a brow.

’Beep! Beep! Beep!’

The low blaring of her suit alarm caught her off guard, indicating there was an underlying warning threatening her safety. Pulling up the screen, she quickly located the source of the problem.

”Of course, so that’s where those flames went to.” Lucias clenched his teeth, having a bad feeling about this.

From the moment Kyle succumbed to Reze attack, he was wary. Not so easily someone who squared off with the king, was likely to easily fall within such a short time span.

And with the absence of those strange flames, containing a mix of black and red intense hue. Further added to his obscurity about Kyle.

’This might be really bad for miss reze.’

...

Grunting, Reze staggered some steps back. The little dark flames on her right arm blade has now spread within seconds. Getting larger, reaching her arm length spreading to her entire body.

’Why isn’t it working?’ She frowned, deploying anti flammable solutions installed in the suit. All of which miserable failed in extinguishing Kyle’s dark flames.

”I must admit, you’re quite the captivating young independent woman.” Kyle instigated, approaching Reze in steady steps.

”But in the end you let your pride and overwhelming confidence get to your head. Which cost you.” He relayed in a calm voice, further heightening Reze rage cause he was right.

”Who said I’m out of the fight?” Her tone turned serious, with killing intent.

Sprinting forth, her speed had greatly reduced. Courtesy of the darks flames, eating away at the suit. Forcing her to direct most power, in attempts to curb the situation that failed.

Thus greatly hindering the suits efficiency and speed.

Reaching Kyle she delivered a series of strikes, which he megearly dodged. ”Too slow.”

Clenching his left fist he slammed it to Reze gut, not holding back.

’Bam!’ She was sent skidding back from Kyle’s punch, regaining herself the next moment. Following up with another attack directed to him.
