Three Towers Game

”And if you’ve gone to Zone A, and found others were heading there too, how much would you still be able to get?”

”Finally, think about it. If you were Yun Xinghe, would you give away your points? Giving them away means losing the initiative.”

”So even if you went there, you wouldn’t get any points, and you’d make an enemy of Zone C.”

These words successfully deterred everyone who was considering going to Zone A.

Indeed, it was possible more than one person would go, which would dilute the points, and more likely, from Yun Xinghe’s perspective... Yun Xinghe absolutely would not hand over the points.

The only strategy Yun Xinghe has is to use sweet talk to keep people steady.

In the end, no one from Wen Xishu’s team went to Zone A.

However, Wen Xishu still had to solve one problem, which was Zone D.

He crafted a declaration:

”Zone C issues a declaration to Zone D: Zone A is doomed, Zone C is willing to give up Zone A’s assets and not participate in the competition for those assets. Our word is our bond. If Zone D insists on transferring employees to Zone A, Zone C will voluntarily reduce its staff.”

The declaration had no limit on the number of times it could be issued, but there was a limit on the total number of words.

To ensure he had the chance to issue a third declaration, Wen Xishu didn’t provide too much explanation at the end, merely mentioning ”voluntary staff reduction.”

However, those four words, ”voluntary staff reduction,” carried a lot of information.

Currently, Zone C has 92.6 points, and although the points in Zone C are allocated to the employees, Zone D is unaware of this point.

”If Wen Xishu chooses to voluntarily reduce staff, then the points consumed to maintain Wen Xishu’s population would decrease.”

”With Zone C currently at 92.6 points, if it gives up some of its population, Zone C can withstand many days of attacks, and during these days, Zone C’s employees wouldn’t have to work overtime or even work at all...”

”In this way, Zone C’s dr value and hp value would recover.”

”Zone C could then once again score high explosive points.”

”Zone A can strike up to three times, but as long as Zone C willingly reduces staff and abandons the strategy of keeping everyone alive... Zone C would be hard to eliminate forcibly.”

Lorenzo came to the conclusion—

Sending employees to Zone A would likely fail to acquire Yun Xinghe’s points, but it might allow Yun Xinghe to strike Zone C, though the ultimate result would only be Zone C losing staff, while still surviving, with high explosiveness remaining.

So, supporting Zone A to strike Zone C is a failed strategy.

And Yun Xinghe absolutely, absolutely would not truly give points to his employees, because that would mean handing over the initiative.

If you were Yun Xinghe, and you gave away the points, and then your employees jumped ship, wouldn’t you be furious?

Thus, the final outcome is that Zone C wouldn’t die, Zone A wouldn’t die, and I still couldn’t get Yun Xinghe’s points.

Sending people to Zone A is a wrong strategy!

Lorenzo had to admire Wen Xishu.

As long as Wen Xishu doesn’t insist on all employees surviving, Wen Xishu’s base of over 90 points is truly something that can’t be killed.

So my strategy must shift from destroying Wen Xishu to surpassing Wen Xishu.

”Since I can’t kill you, then I’ll focus on the economy; I just need to have a better economy than you.”

Take Zone A’s assets, absorb Zone A’s points, and you can lead Wen Xishu’s team.

”Essentially, Wen Xishu issued this declaration hoping I wouldn’t send people to support Zone A. So, deep down, he still hopes to keep his 72 people alive.”

Voluntary staff reduction is a form of intimidation, but not Wen Xishu’s desired choice.

Now there was one more question.

Can Wen Xishu’s words be trusted?

If I don’t send people, Zone A goes under, and Wen Xishu goes back on his word, wouldn’t I be a fool?

If Zone C gets Zone A’s resources, wouldn’t Zone C win?

Lorenzo immediately edited a declaration.

”Zone D issues a declaration to Zone C: How can I trust you?”

...

...

Zone D’s declaration, Wen Xishu saw it, and so did all Zone C employees.

At this time, Zone C was very, very lively.

Everyone was heatedly discussing it.

”Why should we give Zone A’s assets to Zone D? Boss Wen, if we get Zone A’s assets, population, points, productivity, we’d have a massive lead; we’d win!”

The one speaking was Clark Kent.

Tang Zhe was also curious, would Wen Xishu really hand the assets over to Zone D?

In response, Wen Xishu said:

”One must be honest. If Zone D accepts, I indeed will not participate in competing for the assets.”

Wen Xishu quickly edited a message to Lorenzo.

”Zone C issues a declaration to Zone D: I don’t want to pay the cost of competition, you know my strategy.”

...

Lorenzo understood.

Even though Wen Xishu verbally mentioned ”voluntary staff reduction,” saying he would reduce staff voluntarily was precisely to avoid reducing staff.

This statement immediately made sense to Lorenzo.

Competing for Zone A’s assets requires auction items.

The rules mentioned that teams absorbing assets could choose to bid with points or employees.

Wen Xishu simply didn’t want to pay these costs, so he chose to give up these resources.

...

...

Zone A.

Fifteen minutes were almost up.

At fourteen minutes, Yun Xinghe despaired.

He knew he was defeated.

He didn’t expect that in such a scenario, not a single person could be fooled into coming to him.

Were sixty-something points really so unattractive?

But he soon understood, it wasn’t that the points lacked attraction, but in this game, he had been fully analyzed by others.

His strategic tendencies, his way of doing things, had all been seen through.

Fifteen minutes passed.

”Zone A failed to recruit employees, the Zone A team was disbanded, and Zone A’s boss Yun Xinghe was eliminated.”
