Three Towers Game

”I know you must have been in the Deceit Tower, taking down a few of my subordinates, making me naturally dislike you.”

”But that’s okay, I can restrain this aversion towards you, as long as you can understand me.”

”In such a world, kindness accomplishes nothing. Only by leading all evil can one achieve goals.”

”Charlie has become kind, but in the apocalypse, something more terrifying would take everything from him again.”

”But if Charlie becomes evil, it’s different, hehe, everyone near the Land of Dust would be killed by him.”

”So, your idea of protecting and saving Charlie is just protecting the kind Charlie, but kindness... isn’t a ticket in the apocalypse.”

”Right, right?”

Wen Xishu was stunned.

”Are you saying... you can’t just make people bad, but also make them good?”

”Good and bad are temporary, now is the chaotic apocalypse, my siblings have dark hearts, my subordinates can’t be a group of good people, only pure evil can defeat them.”

Aquarius smiled:

”Once the apocalypse ends, then I’ll let them become good, wouldn’t everything be perfect?”

Wen Xishu thought for a bit, it really made some sense.

He initially thought Aquarius was the person he couldn’t communicate well with. But Aquarius actually somewhat persuaded him.

The kind Charlie would still have everything taken away.

Perhaps Charlie becoming pure evil... would be the best. As long as he could change back in the end, once the world stabilizes, wouldn’t the result still be good?

So, Aquarius likes evil because she has the ability to transform evil into corresponding level good.

But in the apocalypse, kindness is much weaker than evil.

Along this journey, actually Wen Xishu was also proving it.

Jack, the An Family Brothers, Tang Rui, Little Tong and Little Xing, the three officers... which of them wasn’t oppressed because of their kindness?

Wen Xishu, in his least favorable position with Aquarius, actually started to waver.

But after thinking for a while, he still shook his head and refused.

”Sorry, I can’t refute you at the moment, but I just feel... in that case, all my efforts seem so laughable.”

”Moreover... what I’m doing, I believe to be the most difficult and correct thing, letting good people win.”

Aquarius stomped her foot, anxiously said:

”Whether he’s good or bad, isn’t that for me to decide!”

Wen Xishu shook his head:

”Sorry... whether he’s good or bad, can’t be for you to decide.”

At this moment, it seemed Wen Xishu finally realized where the problem was.

It’s like leading a group of people to burn, kill, and loot in someone else’s territory, committing heinous crimes, then when the war ends, you revise the history books and tell others we are good people, that in our history, we only went through this event without any massacres.

Then you teach your descendants ’benevolence, righteousness, manners, wisdom, faith,’ as if the past atrocities were just a part of implementing ’benevolence, righteousness, manners, wisdom, faith,’ making everything irrelevant because now you are good people.

Can it be irrelevant? Can good and evil be calculated like this? Do the victims not deserve justice?

Aquarius led a group of evil people to do all kinds of evil deeds, so when they become good in the future, could their evil acts just disappear?

Wen Xishu shook his head again:

”Sorry, I don’t like you either.”

Aquarius was puzzled:

”I’ve already explained so clearly.”

Wen Xishu said:

”Even if Charlie hates the world, in his obsession, he still left a solution for others, also expressing that he actually doesn’t hate the world, he just blames himself more, and is scared by the harm of this world.”

”But he’s never been an evil person. If he could, he would never hurt this world. I can make his kindness sharp, but I can’t directly turn him into an evil person.”

”Even if you could twist his mind to commit those evil acts and then turn him back, what is done is done! It will always exist, never disappear.”

”If he truly becomes kind again, those acts, like being unable to embrace Anya, would torment him for a lifetime.”

”Only those beasts would deny past evil deeds, because for them, it’s easy.”

”There are many things in this world that are easy, like letting bad people kill good people, but that’s wrong.”

”And I, don’t like easy and wrong things. For me, there’s always only one option, to do the right thing, even if it’s exceedingly difficult.”

”To make sure good people are no longer pointed at with a gun, that good people survive in the apocalypse. To ensure that good and evil, right and wrong, justice are not overturned.”

Wen Xishu’s words were powerful.

Aquarius suddenly started crying loudly:

”Why are you being so harsh! I hate you! I hate you very, very much!”

The young girl was obviously not crying because of Wen Xishu’s harsh tone.

It’s just that... her long-time self-comfort, the underlying logic, was finally pierced by Wen Xishu.

What is done is done, it will always exist, never disappear.

This sentence broke the layer of peace of mind that Aquarius’s pretense of turning bad provided.

Wen Xishu hadn’t expected himself to be like Lord Guan, overcoming obstacles with conviction. Except he doesn’t cut off heads, but attacks hearts.

Scorpio and Aquarius were both broken by his words.

Wen Xishu said:

”If you internally acknowledge that when the world stabilizes in the future, the apocalypse ends... the world needs kind people.”

”Then stop what you’re doing now, let good people defeat bad people, instead of turning good people into evil ones.”
