Three Towers Game

Chapter 377: Chapter 128: The True Essence of Rokkasho Games_6

”Could it be that the monsters can even fake bullet comments? Am I seeing an illusion right now?”

Wen Xishu did not rule out the possibility that his ability had also been figured out by the island’s monsters.

Since the other party could invade the mind to create false prompts, making him see fake bullet comments might also be possible.

He had zero Anti-Magic Value, essentially making him an easy target for these monsters to invade at will.

But Wen Xishu found it strange—

”But if it’s an illusion... why would they deliberately create an illusion to ’drive me away’?”

”Logically, shouldn’t it be ’don’t drive me away, let me in’?”

Wen Xishu felt something was odd.

Could they be playing some sort of reverse psychology with me? Saying ’drive me away’ on purpose, then betting that I’m a contrarian who will do the opposite?

Predicting my prediction?

”It’s very dangerous outside, come in. I’ll open the door for you,” Wen Xishu decided to give it a try.

Sure enough, that statement scared the man outside:

”Don’t open it! Please, don’t! I know you have others... inside, right?” the short-haired man outside pleaded.

”Yes, I do. So what? Could it be, you’re not human?” Wen Xishu wondered.

Wen Xishu suddenly realized, could it be that his prayer had succeeded? But if it had, why was the other person’s reaction like this?

Wen Xishu had a vague feeling that perhaps this person could unravel the ultimate mystery. The two began to converse.

”Yes, I’m not human, let me go!”

”If you want to leave, am I supposed to force you to stay?”

”Then let me go quickly! Or just don’t open the door... just don’t open it.”

”Why, is it so dangerous outside?”

”Don’t worry about it! Please, just don’t open the door! I don’t want to come in!”

[There are only perverts inside! There are only perverts inside! All the house owners have already been assimilated by ’them’! I’m doomed, they will definitely open the door, right?]

[Damn it! Damn it! Why did I end up here? Someone help me, how can I go back!]

[That damn mage! It must be that damn mage!]

[According to the rules, once you encounter this house... you’ll encounter another house, right?]

The content of the bullet comments was too strange.

It was strange enough to overturn Wen Xishu’s understanding.

Every monster wanted to come inside because there were living humans inside. They craved to devour the desires of living humans to gain evolutionary power.

But this guy outside didn’t want to come in?

He even mentioned the mage...

Wen Xishu was confused. Why didn’t he want to come in? Inside, there were only perverts, and all the house owners had already been assimilated by ’them’.

What was that supposed to mean?

Wen Xishu felt that what this man said seemed to overturn something. But this overturning... just happened to make Wen Xishu feel like he was about to grasp a key point.

”This is a human. This is a real human... my prayer worked.”

”Unlike monsters, monsters can walk away directly. Once a monster asks if you live alone and gets a negative answer and confirms it’s true... then the monster can leave.”

”But humans are different. Humans need to be refused to be able to leave!”

”In other words, if I don’t refuse the other person, the other person cannot leave. This is what I can infer from this person’s words.”

”And if I open the door, he will be forcibly invited in. From his current fearful attitude, it can be deduced that he doesn’t want me to open the door, which means if I do... he becomes a resident of this house.”

”And he wasn’t wrong; ’they’ are indeed inside the house. But the issue is, if I invite him in and then kill ’them’, won’t we be safe?”

”Why is he so scared?”

Wen Xishu really wanted to ask this question directly.

But the other person was already so scared that he had wet his pants, yes, Wen Xishu saw through the peephole that the man’s pants were already wet at the thighs.

[Don’t invite me in! I don’t want to be tortured! I don’t want to be tortured! I don’t want to meet any misfortune!]

So abnormal!

Humans don’t want to come in... humans don’t want to come in...

Wen Xishu kept repeating this point in his mind. If he just opened the door now, he would be safe. In fact, if it were someone else who couldn’t see these bullet comments, they would probably open the door right away.

Wen Xishu also considered this point.

”If there were no bullet comments, I might have already opened the door... One, I’d have a human teammate and be truly safe...”

”Two, I really want to understand what’s going on. I’d feel like if I just explained clearly, everything would be fine...”

Yes, these thoughts appeared in Wen Xishu’s mind, making him feel that opening the door was the right choice.

But the more it seemed that way, the stranger he felt. So, Wen Xishu started recalling all the clues from today.

Even including his dream.

”Let me sort through all the information now...”

”First, humans don’t want to come in.”

”In my dream, I saw the sculpture, and there were seven voices inside the sculpture...”

”The outline of that sculpture... was a person. The policeman next to me said that to restore order in Rokkasho... they were just one door away.”

”Additionally, when I mentioned ’you can leave,’ Sanjin and Takahashi Fumihiko’s strange expressions...”

”Obviously, I couldn’t drive them away, I didn’t have that ability, but their attitudes changed immediately.”

When all the information connected, it was like a flash of light in the dark.

Wen Xishu’s eyes brightened in an instant.

”I see! I get it! I finally understand the essence of this game!”

Wen Xishu suddenly saw the light.

This game was more complicated than he had anticipated because, at this moment, he finally realized that the true objective of the game was not to keep people inside.

”So... you can go now, I allow you to leave, you’re free to go.”

Perhaps doubting his own ears, the short-haired man outside looked at the peephole in confusion:

”You’re really letting me leave? Really? You’re not inviting me in!?”

Wen Xishu said:

”Yes, I’m not inviting you in, you can leave, but you have to do something for me. If you happen to encounter another house, I hope you convey a message to the owner of that house for me.”

”Convey a message? What... what message? To invite him inside? Isn’t that the same thing?” The man was still very afraid of entering the house.

Wen Xishu said:

”I understand you, I cooperate with you. Just tell him that the owner of another house wants to say to you— I understand you, I cooperate with you.”

These words were so bizarre.

But the man still said:

”I... I will do it.”

Wen Xishu sneered:

”You better do it, or I can make you reappear here. If you don’t do it, you won’t be so lucky next time. It’s not just me in this house. If I can make you appear once, I can make you appear again.”

The man didn’t understand, what kind of situation was this?

One pervert, saying to another pervert, ”I understand you”? But considering... he suddenly appeared here, he dared not defy the wishes of the pervert in this house.

Wen Xishu just hoped that these bullet comments truly existed, especially the one that said, ”According to the rules, once you encounter this house, you will also encounter another house.”

That way, he could ensure that the ”human” in front of him could relay the message he wanted to get across.

Not choosing to drag the person inside but making this move, was Wen Xishu’s guess and gamble on the entire ”mutation” of Rokkasho.

And next, when the short-haired man encountered the next house, Wen Xishu would know the result of this gamble.

At the same time, the TV lit up.

The TV broadcasted a rule that Wen Xishu had just realized. This was also what made Wen Xishu understand the essence of the game...

An essential rule.

The screen on the TV displayed a Talisman. At the sight of the TV screen, everyone in the room, including Mariko, had a peculiar expression.

And the new rule was as follows—

[Rule Supplement 1: The TV rule supplements are always delayed. Once you realize a rule, it is no longer a secret. But if you fail to realize it, the TV will never provide a supplement.]

[Rule Supplement 2: They cannot resist entering the house. Their fate is to constantly knock on the door, tricking homeowners into opening it. But only after entering do they realize that the conditions for leaving are so special that... they may never be able to leave.]
