Three Towers Game

Chapter 299: Chapter 116: The Cheating Blind Man and the Serious Gamer Wen Xishu_2

He almost shouted hysterically.

To dare shout at the witch like that, the Blind must be the first. But the witch couldn’t speak, she could only emit a piercing cry.

At this moment, even the crying stopped. It merely observed the person silently, and before long... the witch directly ignored the Blind.

It actually squatted down at its previous position and continued to cry softly.

After an emotional outburst, the Blind suddenly felt somewhat exhausted. He was a war reporter by profession. No special advantages, no extraordinary encounters, and none of Wen Xishu’s slaughter tower-induced maxed-out human abilities...

He quickly became thirsty and hungry.

The sound of a woman crying came to his ears, and finally, he ran out of patience:

”Alright, alright, stop crying! Damn it, just stop crying, tell me what task you have, I’ll do it, I’ll do it, okay?”

No response, only the sound of crying remained.

At this moment, the Blind, who was somewhat sensitive inside, felt discriminated against.

His emotions collapsed again, and he started to wail. The grievances he had endured for many years, every time he cried, the response he received was:

”Isn’t it tiring taking care of you, why are you still not satisfied?”

But why should I be satisfied, why do you think I need your care? At this moment, the Blind only felt that even the game was bullying him.

His cries intertwined with the witch’s cries, male and female cries mixed, surging, and extremely sorrowful. It also raised the horror index of this school by several levels.

After all, a male witch was an existence that no survivor had ever seen.

...

...

If Wen Xishu knew the Blind’s situation, he would probably understand some of the game designer’s thoughts.

But from Wen Xishu’s perspective, he didn’t know what the Blind had triggered. He only thought that the Blind must have done nothing.

”He should have stayed in the initial room the whole time. Otherwise, he would have died as soon as he went out. Although I attracted quite a few zombies away, there were still many left.”

Wen Xishu thought it over and decided that this was the only reason the Blind could have survived.

At this time, Wen Xishu had already followed the Compass guidance to an area.

This place was called Violet Garden. It was a seven-year-old estate, and because it was near the city center, it had many tenants.

The population density was very high here, the community was also large, a design aimed at being quiet in the midst of chaos.

Wen Xishu didn’t have much trouble entering the community.

There was a witch in the corner of the west gate, so for safety’s sake, he went to the east gate.

At the east gate, there were only two zombies dressed in security uniforms. Because they hadn’t eaten meat for too long, the originally fat security guards now had exposed bones.

Wen Xishu easily circumvented them, then throughout his way, he avoided several zombie Shiba Inus, zombie Bichons, and zombie orange cats.

If it weren’t for these former pets missing limbs or being too hungry and thus moving slowly... it would be challenging for Wen Xishu to deal with them.

Violet Garden had a total of thirty-one buildings, illustrating the size of this estate. The community was a three-skull rated level place.

This wasn’t because there were particularly terrifying monsters hidden here, but mainly due to the high number of zombies. The density of zombies in the community was very high.

If there were radar red dots scanning, you would see dense red dots which could overlay to form a surface.

However, these zombies were rarely seen outside. The most malicious part of the entire design of the community was that although there were many zombies, most were hidden inside the residences.

Elevator shafts, residences, corridors... all contained more zombies than players expected.

Conversely, the number of zombies outside the community was not low, but also not overwhelmingly high.

They were usually distributed by area, with about a dozen zombies hidden in each area.

”This community is quiet on the surface, occasionally there are only a few or a dozen zombies shuffling like old grandpas, so slow.”

”It doesn’t seem to match the three-skull rating. But such a setup often means enemies will gather massively in places players might overlook or inevitably pass through.”

Wen Xishu silently noted the zombie distribution and discovered a pavilion. The zombies there were intriguingly positioned, a chess table was in the pavilion.

From a high vantage point, these zombies gave an impression of an ambush from all sides, making one feel attacked from behind and in front.

But the zombies moved so slowly that this positioning seemed meaningless.

Wen Xishu’s focus shifted elsewhere soon, but he didn’t recklessly explore the residences. Not because he sensed the huge number of hidden zombies.

But because he had a Compass.

Although the game restricted his attributes, the abilities of items still helped Wen Xishu cheat in a small range.

Also, there were some stacked villas in the community, in the frontmost row near the riverside. No one bought these, but the Compass finally guided Wen Xishu to one of these villas.

”Moreover, none of the other villas have defensive structures, but this one has a barbed wire fence.”

”Looks like this is the mission area.”

Wen Xishu contemplated how to sneak in, but at that moment, the villa’s door suddenly opened, and a deep male voice came:

”Are you... alive or a zombie?”

”Alive, alive, truly alive.”

Wen Xishu raised his hands to show he had no hostile intentions. At the same time, a prompt appeared in his mind.
