The Versatile Master Artist

Yakai Gangchang also likes to buy trendy brands or sneakers like Yeezys and Air Jordans.

But Shengzi has always shown little interest.

”Hmm...”

This time, the girl didn’t immediately refuse.

She put down her brush, turned her head to glance at the dress image in her mother’s hand, and saw the fashion model on the screen accentuating her curves in the dress, hesitating for a moment.

”Are you interested?”

Mrs. Sakai raised an eyebrow.

”Mom, do you think I’d look good in this dress?”

Yakai Shengzi seemed really intrigued, as she held out her arms and twisted her waist in front of her mother, fully revealing her beautiful curves.

”Compared to girls my age, do I usually dress a bit outdated?” she asked softly.

”No way, our Shengzi is the cutest,”

Mrs. Sakai replied without hesitation.

Only, her tone was somewhat playful.

Mrs. Sakai had been around; she knew her darling daughter had a little romantic interest.

In front of a boy she likes, even a girl not fond of dressing up would want her crush to admire her more.

But,

who could it be?

”Koshiba Tarou got box tickets for the Tokyo Dome and wants to invite you to G-Dragon’s concert this weekend. You’ve been a bit tired lately; would you like to relax a bit? Myanmar doesn’t have a Prada store, so it’s perfect to try on the new dress back in Japan and let Koshiba appreciate it. He’s young and has a decent understanding of fashion brands,”

Mrs. Sakai attempted to ask.

”I still want to modify my thesis this weekend, just send my size to the store and have it delivered,” Yakai Shengzi replied indifferently.

Mrs. Sakai felt helpless inside; she didn’t have much hope to begin with. It seemed her daughter really wasn’t interested in Koshiba.

Mr. Xiaomao, you really aren’t very determined.

Mrs. Sakai shook her head, her gaze landing on the sketch frame on the side table.

It was a simple sketch. After Yakai Shengzi returned to the long-term rental at the Aman Hotel, she asked the hotel butler for a photo frame.

Like a treasure, her daughter carefully placed the sketch into the frame.

”Was this drawn by that guy? Is that how he half-heartedly wins over girls?”

Mrs. Sakai noticed the irregularly torn edges of the sketch paper and let out a sarcastic laugh.

Damn,

Do you know what it means that the precious daughter I raised likes you?

Compared to her brother, there’s a good chance that Yakai Shengzi is the one more likely to succeed Uncle Sakai.

In terms of both artistic and material wealth, her ”dowry” would amount to a sum ordinary people couldn’t achieve in ten lifetimes.

Koshiba Tarou is driven nuts, constantly thinking about ways to please Shengzi.

Yet,

you aren’t even willing to use better-quality paper?

Mrs. Sakai was particularly displeased.

”Mr. Gu wanted to draw a new one, but I refused. This drawing is very good, isn’t it, Mom?”

Yakai Shengzi carefully observed her mother’s expression.

Mrs. Sakai huffed.

Even she had to admit that the linear depiction was quite stunning for a student.

An artist ultimately uses their work to communicate.

With more interaction with Gu Weijing, Mrs. Sakai began to understand why her husband held Gu Weijing in high regard.

With such talent and progress.

Calling him a young genius is not an exaggeration at all.

”By the way, Mom, can you add one more person to your advanced class?”

Seeing her mother’s expression slightly soften, Yakai Shengzi finally inquired softly.
