The Sinful Young Master

Chapter 90 Voidwrathʼs dominance

Daurgien stormed toward him with unrelenting fury, his crimson eyes blazing and his steps shaking the ground. Jolthar knew he had only a few moves left before his body gave out, but retreat wasnʼt an option. He gritted his teeth, gripping Knashii tightly, and prepared for the inevitable clash.

Meanwhile, chaos reigned across the canyon. The ethereal dragon, still battling the robed Nynthralls, noticed the relentless wave of creatures heading toward Belan, Lysandra.

Even as she defended against the Nynthrallsʼ dark magic, the dragonʼs shimmering eyes narrowed. She paused for a fleeting moment, opening her maw wide and unleashing a bone-chilling breath.

The icy gale swept across the battlefield, freezing nearly every creature in its path. The ground was covered in crystalline frost, the creatures encased in shimmering ice. Despite the devastation, the dragonʼs precision was impeccable—her frost did not so much as graze Belan, Lysandra.

The frozen creatures, however, were not defeated. Cracks began to spiderweb across their icy prisons, their twisted forms straining to break free.

Lysandra and Eran, realising the reprieve was only temporary, pooled their aura and strength to push the creatures back, but it was clear their efforts wouldnʼt hold for long.

High above, Raayani and Yilar faced each other in the sky, their auras clashing like violent storms. The sky was now covered with thick dark clouds as Raayaniʼs power was starting to affect the weather itself, causing lightning to crackle and thunder to rumble ominously.

Raayaniʼs voice carried over the battlefield, cold and sharp. ”What is this sudden interest in humans, savage?” It was the only thing weighing on her mind. They had been a discreet race until now, gone for a long time. She couldnʼt even remember the last time she saw Nynthrall in their region too.

Yilarʼs lips curved into a faint smile, but he said nothing.

Raayani scoffed, clicking her tongue in irritation. With a wave of her hand, a blade materialised, shimmering into existence as though forged from pure frost. The blade was a meter long, its edges razor-sharp, with a faint glow of icy blue running along its surface.

Yilarʼs smile faded instantly, his eyes narrowing. He could feel the overwhelming power radiating from the weapon, and he knew Raayani wasnʼt holding back anymore.

Raayani noticed his glance drifting toward the ground, where his men were still locked in combat with her dragon. She smirked. ”Donʼt waste your time worrying about them,” she said, her voice mocking. ”You should focus on staying alive. Not that it will help.”

With a flick of her wrist, she swung the blade in a deceptively simple motion. The air around them seemed to shift. A chilling atmosphere spread rapidly, and within moments, the temperature plummeted to freezing. Clouds turned dark and ominous, obscuring the sun. The battlefield was cast into an eerie twilight as frost formed on every surface.

Then, with a flash of icy brilliance, Raayani unleashed her strike. A blinding light filled the sky as the chilling energy surged outward, exploding with a deafening roar. The shockwave rippled through the canyon, drawing every eye upward.

For a moment, it was as though the heavens themselves were frozen in time, the battlefield silenced by the sheer power of the attack.

Everyone stopped their actions and stood still for a moment. Even Daurgien and the creatures too have stopped moving.

As the light dimmed and the freezing energy dispersed, Yilar was revealed, barely alive. His body was a mess—one arm had been blown away entirely, and the left side of his torso was shredded. Blood poured from his wounds, and it wasnʼt red, yet his eyes remained sharp, filled with a mixture of pain and grim determination.

Realising he couldnʼt continue the fight, Yilar retreated, his form flickering as he teleported onto the ship hovering nearby. The vessel, which had been stationed at the edge of the canyon, began to move away rapidly, its engines roaring to life.

Raayani watched, her icy eyes narrowing as she spotted Yilar through the shipʼs viewport. He was leaning heavily against the wall, clutching his remaining arm as blood seeped from his ruined body. Despite his condition, he smirked faintly, defiance still etched on his face.

She let out a quiet sigh, lowering her sword. Though she could have pursued the ship, she chose not to. For now, the threat had been driven away.

But Raayaniʼs expression darkened. She knew this was only the beginning, and Yilarʼs escape meant trouble still lingered on the horizon.

-

The result of her attack formed clouds, and it started snowing. The desert climate suddenly turned cold.

As Raayaniʼs ethereal blade dissolved into nothingness, her icy aura lingered in the air, its chill suffusing the battlefield. She gazed downward, her sharp eyes sweeping over the remnants of the chaos.

She saw the Nynthralls left behind by Yilar—robed and still embroiled in a fierce battle with Yoana. From the looks of it, Yoana was handling them with precision and ferocity, and Raayani could tell she was close to finishing them off. Robed Nynthralls were no match for Yoana, she was killing them effortlessly as her attention was now focused solely on them.

Her attention shifted to the creatures, the relentless horrors swarming toward Belan and the others. With no hesitation, Raayani descended from the sky in a graceful yet commanding movement, landing between the creatures and their intended targets.

The moment her feet touched the ground, the very air trembled. Like a chilling storm just touched the canyon.

She unleashed a sweeping wave of frost with a single, fluid motion of her hand.

A brilliant blue line surged across the horizon, its radiant glow cutting through the ranks of the creatures like a blade through paper. The entire horde was cleaved in half, their bodies crumbling to the ground with a chilling finality.

Not stopping there, Raayani raised her foot and drove it forcefully into the ground.

The ground beneath her shuddered violently, a powerful shockwave rippling outward. The quakes turned the already snow-dusted desert into a frosty wasteland, encasing every remaining creature in jagged, glistening ice.
