The richest man starts with black technology

Chapter 343
Time passed slowly, and the progress of the joint laboratory was also very fast.

After the adjustment of operation and storage mode, DNA memory has also been developed.

In other words, in theory, memory and hard disk can be integrated through DNA storage technology.

However, because the memory pays attention to the timely exchange of data with the CPU, there is no requirement for long-term storage, and the long-term storage data required by the hard disk is still different in function. In order to make the data in the memory not so lengthy, the laboratory still distinguishes the memory from the hard disk, so as to maximize the performance of the equipment.

At this time, the transmission speed between i7-10700f and DNA memory almost reaches the theoretical maximum speed (i.e. affected by chip operation speed, thread and North Bridge frequency).

Such performance has reached the highest limit required by the joint laboratory.

If it is commercially available in the future, the experiment will control the performance, limit the speed of DNA memory, and make its performance slightly higher than that of traditional memory modules. In the future, slowly squeeze toothpaste according to the performance of CPU.

Since then, the joint laboratory has successfully completed the development of DNA memory and DNA hard disk.

A brand-new computer was placed in front of Zhou Xiao, which was a masterpiece of the United Laboratory.

The volume of the host computer is very small, only half as big as a fist, and Zhou Xiao thinks the volume can be a little smaller.

Mo Li said, ”we use i7-10700 for this host, because it has a nuclear display, which can minimize the volume of the host.”

Mo Li also revealed a helpless expression.

At present, the joint laboratory only completes the research and development of DNA memory and DNA hard disk, and the technologies such as higher-end CPU and graphics card are still not mastered.

Why does the host have the size of half a fist? Because there is no way to reduce the volume of the CPU. If you add a graphics card, the volume will be larger.

”Your DIY skills are good.” Zhou Xiao said, playing with the host in his hand.

Mo Li explained, ”the CPU is i7-10700, and the volume is there. There’s no way. The mini motherboard is designed by the joint laboratory and produced by Xingrui company. In fact, I think it can be optimized. ”

”Our DNA hard disk collection is integrated on the motherboard. The collection here means that it integrates DNA memory and DNA hard disk. The things inside are separated, but we combine them in one box. ”

The development of DNA memory is what Mo Li thinks the joint laboratory is the most gratifying thing, which has broken the technology monopoly of Western semiconductor companies.

Traditional memory modules have sizes of 4G, 8g, 16g and 32g, which means that the memory can temporarily store such large data.

However, DNA memory is not marked with how many g, because the smallest unit is 1PB. How much can be used depends on the performance of CPU and motherboard, but has nothing to do with memory performance.

It’s like you go to the canteen to have a meal, and you can only have a meal once, and you directly bring a huge bucket. At this time, how much you can eat has nothing to do with the container you use, but with your food intake.

Your food intake is the performance of the CPU.

Mo Li said: ”because DNA memory and hard disk require very little energy consumption and heat dissipation is almost ignored, we only equipped a small fan for the CPU.”

”You try?”

Zhou Xiao connected the mini host to the monitor and began the test.

The joint laboratory has partitioned the DNA hard disk, Disk C 1t, and the rest are disk D.

Accustomed to using up to 2T office computers, Zhou Xiao saw that this division can only be described as ”terrible”.

Zhou Xiao tried to open the application. After a few seconds, all the applications entered. This experience is very cool!

Because the i7-10700 has good performance and is relatively strong, the user experience is almost full score.

At the speed of gigabit optical fiber, Zhou Xiao tried to download up to 100 g of files, which is almost wonderful storage.

The user experience is actually enough at this time.

Zhou Xiao viciously asked Xiaoyuan’s voice assistant to download a popular computer scoring software (Master Xin) on the integrated market, and then tested it.

The CPU score is regular and can reach the upstream level of i7-10700.

The graphics card score is average. After all, it is nuclear display.

The next score is quite terrible.

The memory score directly turns the test application into a bug and displays 999999 +.

The hard disk score is the same. It also becomes a bug and displays 999999 +.

Then the big screen shows: Congratulations, the total score of 999999 + exceeds 99.99% of computers in the world.

Then Zhou Xiao saw that his computer, which is called XXX compatible machine, came to the first place in the ranking list and finished second with n points.

Why n points, because Zhou Xiao doesn’t know how many 9’s his computer has. After all, the software has been bugged by the machine.

In the absence of graphics card and CPU, the computer assembled by the joint laboratory ranks first in the world by relying on DNA hard disk and memory.

Although there are bug reasons, this is enough to illustrate the power of DNA memory and hard disk.

The test software is the most downloaded test software in Xia country. It not only has the test function, but also has the function similar to communication and discussion. Users can leave messages at the bottom of each ranking.

For example, in the configuration that ranked first in the past (now ranked second), netizens left a message saying:

”Sleeping trough! Big man! This configuration is server level! Envy! ”

”Boss, this configuration is at least 50000. Go up!”

”Big brother, take my knee. If I had this configuration, I would be happy to play the game.”

But when Zhou Xiao’s xxx compatible machine ranked first on the test list like a dark horse, everyone was not calm and couldn’t believe it!

”Sleeping trough! What fairy configuration is this! I7-10700 has good performance, but it’s still a long way from the server level CPU. How can it get such a high score! ”

”Oh, my God! There is no graphics card in this configuration! How could it be so high. ”

”Pay attention to his memory and hard disk! I can’t recognize the model, but the score is 999999 +. This... This is too exaggerated! ”

”Definitely a bug! It’s definitely a bug. How can you have such a high score of memory and hard disk, and you can’t recognize the model! Bug is definitely a bug. ”

”Complain to the official quickly! There’s a bug! I7-10700 is indeed a high-end PC chip, but it is still a distance from the enterprise level! ”

”Memory and hard disk display are unrecognized! There must be a problem with the test software! ”

Looking at the comments of netizens, Zhou Xiao ”smiled”, casually published a screenshot of the hard disk - 1023tb in the name of the owner himself, and then said: ”I just want to install a B. by the way, I tell you not to take narrow vision and ignorance as the truth you know. Good night, silly children.”
