The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 222: More surprises

’Hey, wait, I’ll stop here, but you know I’ll need your help at any time, right? So I expect your cooperation...’

[[...]]

’I’ll take that as a yes’

I wanted to keep asking about what’s up with the skills I get through the spear, but well, I can’t do anything if she don’t want to keep talking.

I’m already satisfied with what I learned and filled in the things my alternate self didn’t know, as for what he meant about being careful with girls, I knew what he meant and he just said it to screw with me.

Since now that I know that legacy abilities can become synchronized, that means Corruption (F) is among them, which would turn into some sort of venereal disease that I have to avoid spreading to my harem.

And if I kept doing it, as usual, there was a chance that one of the Girl would obtain it and end up going crazy

That would mean my girls couldn’t get stronger through this method, unless they accepted the possibility of that happening.

’Yeah, that would suck, how lucky that we have the ability to permanently rip out an ability, isn’t it Quetesh?’

[[...tsk]]

I think I understand the reason Quetesh has always been so reluctant with me. This legacy, technically, is not entirely beneficial to the users. It carried a price, and that price was falling into corruption.

Whoever created the legacies had many reasons for this, but the fact that I am only taking advantage must be a monstrosity to Quetesh. I can easily imagine why his duty is to teach how to use this legacy correctly.

The more the user uses the abilities, the more the level of corruption increases, and she’s basically the voice of the demon urging you to fall into corruption faster, urging you to use it.

But I, being unaffected, must have broken all her protocols, hence her reluctance and lack of cooperation.

As for the subject of the girls she only said it to screw me. Although I didn’t know all of the legacies at least I knew I could forcibly wrench abilities, such as my affinity to light (ex). although I would need the cooperation of Quetesh and the girls so they wouldn’t get hurt.

About Quetesh I have noticed that, although she doesn’t seem to want it she seems to be semi-obligated to cooperate with me when I make requests, apparently even if she doesn’t like it she has to do her duty as a guardian of the legacy of lust.

..

”Well, now, the important thing is the issue with Akihara, do I risk promotion or not? But it’s not like it matters, one more rank... humm....”

I don’t know if I should promote, I need peace of mind and focus, and I don’t know what will happen in my current situation, so I decided to postpone it for now and see what will happen.

..

.

Knock, knock.

half an hour later, the door rang, which raised my tension to the maximum not knowing what would happen I decided to activate my purity aura from the beginning, whatever happens it would be more difficult to deal with someone of pure intentions like me.

”...Excuse me, by my mistress orders I have brought you breakfast, may I come in?”

”.... Come in.”

Leaving aside that I recognized the voice of the person who knocked on the door, the fact that he spoke to me with utmost respect and said he was a service sent by Akihara, means I’m not screwed.

’Yes! I told you bastards, from the beginning it was all part of the plan.’

’Who are you kidding? They were just squeezing their asses when the door rang. me and number one, something almost popped out, because of your tension.’

’Hey, since when did you become the intrusive and annoying thought?’

’Since I can remember everything that happened, and now I’m in an unsatisfied body.’

’tsk you should have thrown it to the back of your mind, that’s what you get for snooping, stop being annoying just go around and release it.’

’Like I have time, you’re the only one free.’

’Hey, let’s stop fighting, besides let’s not sing victory yet, you don’t know what happened exactly. But if it’s the same maid as yesterday, we can get information out of her.’

’You forget that she knocked us out without me even realizing it.’

’Well, I wasn’t prepared, and my guard was down.’

’Hey, let’s stop making excuses for each other, we’re starting to develop a bad habit of talking to myself.’

’It’s just, without the girls, I don’t have anyone to share my joy with, I miss them.’

’Me too.’

’So do I.’

Well, leaving aside that lately I treat my parallel thoughts like other people, which I think is inevitable, as we each think on our own during the time we don’t pay attention to the other, creating a little divergence of thought.

Sure, until we line up, we’ll be the same again. But, I guess that’s an excuse , since I have no one to talk to and I miss the girls.

’At what point did I go from being a hardcore loner to a bunny? Haa...’

Well, to the point. I began to eat the food that was displayed before me as I got lost in my thoughts, of wanting to see the girls.

At least my connection with Eira and Selene somehow relieved me.

..

.

”Huff, that was delicious.”

”I’m glad the food was to your liking. If you want more, you can order it without any reservations.”

”Oh, no need.”

I mean, for starters, what he brought was a full table, for a feast. People with more metamorphosis may get to eat more, but, still, I got full, and that was because I was really hungry since I hadn’t eaten for almost a day.

Well, now that I was done, I needed to make sure, starting with the maid in front of me, who was emitting intentions of interest and a bit of nervousness, as well as an intention that I definitely appreciated towards me.

’ Yeah, that’s definitely lust, Well, let’s go check on her condition.’

------------------------------------

’Fuck me!!, is everyone here in soul conversion? Fuck, I knew she was strong when she knocked me out, even with my ’art’ buffs, but this is too much...’

While not as strong as Akihara, she is strong, very strong, and again I’m surprised at everything I did yesterday.

”....”

Well, that amount of skill plus the fact that they all complement each other, doesn’t seem coincidental.

I am surprised that she also has the Doppelgänger skill, that even my alternate self, who knew a lot of people, didn’t know anyone but antony with this skill.

Also from the name of his blessing, I can deduce that it is between the God of the night or the moon. Even the God of darkness, and I think the God of shadow could also be candidates.

That made me remember the rare case to Akihara, being a demon of pure blood race very powerful, not only in this kingdom but in many other places, did not have a blessing.

There was an important fact about this race among my memories and it is said that they are the descendants of a powerful ancestral race, and it is the same that the legacy of anger allows you to transform, as mine is Liliith.

In them flowed the blood of many blessed beings from the eras of the gods past, for they were a talented race, even if they could never surpass their ancestor

Besides, those who are as powerful, like Akihara, could earn one if they wanted to, with this level of power she had already more than proved herself worthy of it. except for the very picky gods, for the rest it wouldn’t be a waste to invest in her.

Even if she is not of the younger generation, where the gods have more interest, now that we are at the beginning of the age of the gods, Akihara was still a good initial resource rare to waste or at least secure with a blessing.

Another strange thing is that neither of the two were known to my alternate self. While we are far apart, they are strong enough to be on the main stage and to have met my alternate self at some point.

This expedition in search of my little platinum ticket brought me more surprises than I thought, but the important thing right now is that what I felt before wasn’t bad.

And it seems that this woman has an active interest in me, which I won’t waste. But, first of all, just to be sure.

..

When she seemed about to leave, because she hadn’t said anything all this time, I called her.

”hey... humm, what’s your name?”

Obviously it would be suspicious if I knew her name from the beginning, but it was also to test how honest she is and her attitude towards me.

”Huh!... my name?... My name is Veyrith.”
