The Martial Unity

Chapter 4110: Extraction Operation

The world shook as Rui closed his eyes, multitasking between keeping a wormhole open and keeping a planet’s astronomical gravitational attack in check.

Now, he focused on his third task.

He connected with the Antithesis Hive in the depths of the Panama Continent, the network of antithesis cells that were tasked with ensuring that the alien virus never returned. They had replaced the alien virus, gaining control of the bedrock of the continent and its crust and mantle.

And also, its exotic matter.

Gaia also began mobilizing her power, leveraging the negatron core at the very epicenter of her being.

She began to create a wormhole with guidance from Rui.

Rui, on the other hand, focused on controlling the bedrock in the Great Nam Ocean.

Specifically, the land underneath a certain organism.

A certain serpent.

A certain world serpent.

”Get ready, Jormungandr,” Rui spoke to the serpent with a serious tone. ”It’s now or never, buddy.”

In the depths of the Great Nam Ocean, the titanic world serpent grew excited at the prospects of what was to come.

It had waited a long, long time.

It even dreamed of such a moment every time it slumbered.

And now, the moment had finally arrived.

It was here.

Gaia deployed the power of the negatron matter to slowly tear a hole. A hole that wasn’t circular, like most wormholes were.

No, it was the shaping up to take the shape of a ring.

A ring that was hundreds of thousands of kilometers in diameter.

It was the only solution that existed in order to achieve what they were trying to achieve.

The serpent’s body was in a ring around the Panama Continent.

It couldn’t move; it would bring about mass destruction across the entire world. Thus, the entrance and exit needed to match the shape of its body.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook as a hole in reality, the shape of Jormungandr’s body from a top-down view was created. It opened into outer space, while its entrance formed precisely over the top of the creature’s body.

However, the creature couldn’t move.

Neither could the wormhole; Gaia’s proficiency with space manipulation had gotten better after she regained control over herself with the destruction of the alien virus, but she couldn’t move the wormhole yet.

Something needed to push the serpent through the wormhole.

Not just that. Something needed to replace the serpent’s volume seamlessly as well, otherwise ocean levels would plummet to a catastrophic extent in a manner that would be disastrous for all life.

That was where Rui came in.

Using the Anthithesis Hive burrowed deep into the crust and the mantle of the planet, he could manipulate land, just as the alien virus had done so against him.

He could manipulate the land underneath Jormungandr.

He could manipulate it to push upwards by rising slowly.

And that was exactly what he did.

RUMBLE!!!

The bedrock of the ocean floor began quaking violently as Rui manipulated the Antithesis Network to push precisely the exact specific area of rock that he needed it to. His body was busy suppressing the gravitational well that Garg was trying to create.

And his other hand was busy keeping the wormhole open to help the Unified Gaian Space Forces survive the onslaught of suicidal golems that possessed esoteric matter and the effects that they created.

That was why he focused on using the Antithesis Cells to precisely push in exactly the right matter to try to get the stationary serpent through the wormhole in a manner that would allow them to safely eject it.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The bedrock began cracking, fissuring across the ocean floor, as the creature began pushing through the wormhole. In outer space, the top of the body of the Jormungandr began poking through into outer space, its body no longer able to fit through the limits of the wormhole.

SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH!

A lot of water from the Great Nam Ocean emerged from the depths of the ocean, coursing through the wormhole through the edges, even as the serpent’s gargantuan body pushed against the edges, blocking it off.

”You need to expand the wormhole as the serpent’s body pushes through, Gaia,” Rui calmly informed his home world. ”Otherwise, the Great Nam Ocean will leak into space due to the pressure differential, and all the aquatic life in that water will die quickly in outer space.”

Of course, he could also return the water to the Great Nam Ocean after everything was settled. He applied his Martialverse to generate H20 along with all the salt and other minerals that were standard for ocean water to replace the lost volume of the serpent as Gaia began altering the shape of the ring-sized wormhole to wrap around the serpent’s body as it pushed through.

And pushed through it did, Jormungandr began emerging from the depths of the Great Nam Ocean, pushing through into outer space bit by bit.

Both Rui and Gaia were extremely careful about the process, ensuring that they didn’t do anything rash.

One mistake and they could destroy half of all life on the home world in the blink of an eye. That was why, even as the aroused gargantian rushed towards Gaia in a frenzy to reproduce, Rui and Gaia focused on only the job, diverting as much attention as they could towards ensuring that there were no consequences.

The consequences, of course, were felt across the entire world.

RUMBLE

”Gah, I thought we were past this stuff! Why is the world shaking so violently again?!”

”Mommy, I’m scared!”

”Stay close, dear!”

While the civilian population of Gaia was panicking and terrified, the amateur astronomy community of Gaian Civilization had already noticed the astronomical anomalies in the solar system.

[We have a new intruder! This time it looks like a fire world bubbling with lava, hurtling towards us at Mach 10,000! Terrifying.]

The images attached to the message in an online forum were hazy and blurry, but they showed a world that looked like the embodiment of hell rushing towards Gaia.
