The Martial Unity

CRACK CRACK CRACK!!!

The bones in his forearms snapped again under the sheer weight of the Devil’s tremendous blow. It was as though simply contact with Damian could cause his destruction to infect his opponent’s body.

And yet, Rui’s healed as fast as they broke.

CRACK CRACK CRACK

Almost as if time was rewinding, the shattered bones returned to place, restored in the blink of an eye, while his ruptured blood vessels stitched themselves back together. His sheared skin and flesh, bruised with an ugly purple, returned to their pristine condition in the briefest of moments.

A wave of shock spread through the gathered Martial Sages as they marveled at just how immense his regeneration and healing speed were.

“Did he… consume a healing fruit?” Kane sputtered with a shocked expression. “Since when was Weaving Blood this fast?”

Having observed Rui’s Martial Art for many, many years, he had come to recognize all of Rui’s techniques with a single glance. This was why he instantly recognized that Rui’s Weaving Blood had suddenly spiked in power, allowing him to heal the wounds that the Devil had inflicted upon him. The Devil’s fearsome gaze fixed itself on Rui. “We’re just getting started.”

His fists blurred.

They blurred with blinding speed as the Devil unleashed an unfathomable flood of destructive power upon his opponent, blasting him with attack after attack that ravaged Rui’s guard with great destructive power.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

CRACK CRACK CRACK!!!

Rui’s bones shattered to gravel as the extraordinary destruction contained in each fist ravaged his powerful defenses like they were paper. These same powerful techniques that had allowed Rui to defend against some of the most powerful opponents he had ever faced in his entire life were now useless before the destructive might of the Devil.

Each blow ravaged his guard.

Each blow shattered his bones.

Each blow inflicted considerable damage.

And yet—

WHOOSH!

Everything was undone in the blink of an eye.

Rui summoned loads of pluripotent exotic matter from the depths of his Primordial Core, converting it into all the organic matter molecules and substances needed to give birth to new cells, before using his Martial Soul to have his cells absorb these new compounds in the blink of an eye.

Armed with all the ammunition needed to divide and create a new cell, Weaving Blood ensured that the cells were created as fast as possible, ensuring that even as the Devil’s destructive attacks blasted Rui’s guard, he could heal attacks about as fast as they came.

And they came hard, fast, and innumerable.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

It took every ounce of attention for Rui to leverage the Primordial Core to fix all the damage that Damian was capable of inflicting on him with each passing second. Damian’s eyes flared with power as he wound his fist back a tremendous degree before swinging it as hard as he possibly could with great momentum and power at Rui.

And yet, it was well within Rui’s prophecy of the future.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

Even before the truly terrifying attack crashed into Rui’s body like a meteorite impact, he had already prepared for the devastating power with the help of the Prophecy of the Void. An enormous amount of foresight delivered itself in his vision as he could see the exact trajectory of his opponent’s immense destructive power.

All the pluripotent exotic matter was in place before the attack even struck.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

CRACK CRACK CRACK!!!

His bones almost exploded under the sheer destructive power of the Devil.

And yet, the very next moment, they snapped back in place as a flood of pluripotent matter came to the rescue. The Devil followed through, blasting his arm with a powerful side kick that flew forth with all the torque that Damian was able to generate.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

In the blink of an eye, his leg dented his arm, cracking his bones effortlessly as the sheer impact launched Rui flying across the battlefield even as he focused on using pluripotent matter to fix his wounds as fast as possible.

“I don’t know what this magic is…”

Chills crawled across Rui’s skin as he heard the Devil’s perilous voice emerge from behind him.

“But let’s see how long it lasts against my destruction.” BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

Rui gritted his teeth as the force, speed, and frequency of the Devil’s simple but extraordinarily destructive attacks increased one after another. Each blow was shockingly destructive for the amount of power that the Devil put in them.

CRACK CRACK CRACK CRACK CRACK!!!

His bones exploded as though the very concept of Destruction had been imbued in them. It was almost as though Damian was simply able to make destruction occur. Rui used almost all his conventional techniques to halt the man’s attacks, relying on the principles of collision mechanics to make the impact more gentle.

And yet, Damian had mastered the opposite.

He had mastered the art of making each attack as destructive as was physically possible under the laws of motion. He concentrated all of his power and moment over an extraordinarily tiny part of his fist when it made contact. The area through which he concentrated all his power was a hyper-conditioned area of his fist through which he could focus all his power, just a few cells.

A few molecules.

Because the area of the impact was so low, it created astronomically high pressures, making it impossible to disperse the impact of the attack.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

CRACK CRACK CRACK!!!

The sheer pressure from the force concentration was so unfathomably high that even Rui’s power defenses and body just exploded like a popped balloon. If not for the Primordial Core sustaining almost magical levels of regeneration and healing, Rui would not have been able to survive even ten such devastatingly destructive blows of the Devil.

And yet, the fact of the matter was that Rui was able to sustain the battle with the sheer power of his regeneration alone.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

Simple straight punches with great power spread destruction across his entire body as the Primordial Core’s supreme enhancement to Weaving Blood negated all the damage that Rui suffered.
