The Invincible Full-Moon System

Chapter 832: Clash of Backers

A clear disparity can still be seen.

Despite being surprised that the Royal Black Prince was able to harness the Storm Moon energy as per what the Storm Prince said earlier, the other Supernatural Elders still know and believe that the Storm Prince is the strongest right now thanks to the Storm Moon in the sky.

One is able to harness while the other is supported fully, thereʼs a clear distinction.

Just seeing that the Storm Moon favors the Storm Prince heavily and even helps him fight off the suppressing white sphere in the sky made it clear that the Storm Prince has the full support of the Storm Moon.

It was almost as if the Storm Moon itself also wanted to destroy the Royal Black Prince.

Each of them watches as the Storm Princeʼs Moob Ability is exposed in full display, the superstorm that he created, chaotic with the Storm Moon energy inside of it depicts the sight of what it would look like if the sky is falling.

Such a sight is only possible if the suppression of the First Breath was unshackled.

None of the Elders aside from the Storm Prince is capable of fighting back the suppressing white sphere, there would be a need for an external factor similar to the Full Moon to the Werewolves for them to be able to do the same feat.

Without it, the feat would be simply impossible for them.

”The Storm Prince is stretching too far, he will kill the Royal Black Prince at this rate...”

”We could stick with only us, the Royal Black Prince is unnecessary”

”I agree, the Royal Black Prince would only add more anomalies to the plan. Heʼs unstable and unpredictable, we donʼt know if he even wanted to be a part of us or if he wants us to be a part of him”

As the Supernatural Elders discussed with each other, Rancaladra and Enima were silent.

Both of them seemed to be pondering about something inside their heads while watching this fight, itʼs unknown what they were thinking but the two seem to be really paying attention to the scene in front of them.

Especially Enima, her hollowed eyes were glowing with dark energy at this moment.

Out of nowhere, Rancaladra and Enimaʼs eyes sparkled seeing a bluish sphere appearing inside the Royal Black Princeʼs chest, sparking with black lightning violently and increasing the power coming out of him.

It was astonishing, the Royal Black Princeʼs power greatly exceed their expectations.

”Such talent and power, his Awakened power is as strong if not stronger than his Werewolf form... how can such an entity appear in this era” Rancaladra mutters, he fixed his eyes on the Royal Black Prince in interest.

While Enima, on the other hand, frowns and rubbed her chin in thought.

Meanwhile, Rex activated the Symbol of Lightning spell.

Compared to the other spells in his arsenal, this spell that he gained from reaching the ninth-rank realm from the System is easily the strongest spell he has. It doubled his sky-black lightning prowess, presence, as well as his speed.

Sparks of black lightning jutting out of his body destroyed the area around him.

Even the kingly energy that wrapped around his body tightly started to be pushed back, he was able to move his limbs a little as he braced the horrifying moon ability that was directed straight at him.

If not for the suppression, he could use his own moon ability, but he canʼt.

ʼDevo, Amanir, when I signaled, focus everything you have to the tip of my wings! Weʼll sustain this attack no matter what! I canʼt afford to back down now, this is my chance!ʼ Rex screamed inside his head while gritting his teeth strongly.

Any part of his body has already been clenched beyond measure in preparation.

[Iʼll pour everything, the spirit energy will be more than you can handle, Rex. But you wouldnʼt need to control it for too long, just enough until the attack connects], Devo replied, circulating his entire body with everything he has.

Similarly, Amanir also did the same, [Iʼm not strong enough, but I could fortify your wings]

Upon finding that the three of them could finally work together for once, Rex smiled as he puts on a maniacal smile, gazing with bulging eyes at the descension of the moon ability that completely obliterated anything it touches.

Even the air was sucked into it, making Rex pants heavily as he couldnʼt breathe properly.

Just as the tip of the moon ability was about to reach him, about fifty yards away where the Storm Moon energy is already reaching him, Rex quickly closed his wings to his body and connects the tips together.

ʼNow! Do it now!ʼ Rex shouted, signaling to Devo and Amanir.

BLITZ!

SWOOSH!

At the command, a surge of spirit energy erupted from his body. Marbling lunar energy causes his wings to shimmered and glowed, turning them glossy and sturdier than ever with the help of Amanir. Countless tendrils of black lightning can be seen radiating both inside and outside of the wings, following the veins, and heading to the connected tips.

Rex could feel his entire body at the breaking point, he feels like imploding completely.

But he held on and control the enormous amount of spirit energy that gathered at the tips of his wings, yet he didnʼt need to control it long as the drilling moon ability eventually hits the concentrated energy that he gathers.

KABOOM!!

”Kragghk!!” Rexʼs feet got pushed back, his body feels like it was breaking apart.

It didnʼt take long for blood to gush out of his mouth, smearing his gritted sharp fangs, and also drizzling down his mouth disturbingly. Even with everything he has, the moon ability is way stronger than he anticipated.

Holding on for ten seconds alone could already be considered a miracle.

ʼM-More! We need more spirit energy and mana!ʼ

Despite being in two Gladiator Forms, the permanent increase from the Parchment of Night-Perfect Lightning, the Veracious Black Lightning that he absorbed, and also the Symbol of Lightning spell, itʼs still not enough.

Rex could only smile savagely in the extreme moment, trying to hold on desperately.

ʼLunirich Gods! They all wanted to kill me so badly, huh? Maybe the Countessʼ proposal is not bad after all, on the contrary, it has become intriguing right now. If youʼre going to stand in my way then I am going to kill you all!ʼ Rex thought inside his head, filled with murderous intent.

Clearly, the Storm Prince could launch this kind of attack thanks to the Lunirich Gods.

The Lunirich God behind the Storm Moon is the one responsible for fighting off the suppressing white sphere, a Lunirich God that he hasnʼt met or offended tries to kill him, and that alone shows that the Lunirich Gods have to become his target.

If he wants to live and protect those under him, these Lunirich Gods must surrender or die!

Crack!

As the moon ability keeps on pushing forward, Rex started to be pushed back more and more, and he even heard a loud boney sound coming from his wings followed by a cold and sharp pain.

Obviously, the bones in his wings started to crack and break.

Countless notifications from the system appeared as Rex was put in a deadly spot, he was stuck in the center and couldnʼt move anywhere. On top of that, he doesnʼt have anything else, he already used everything that he has right now.

But the First Breath suppression is too strong, he has no backer like the Storm Prince.

Rex coughed more blood as cracks started to appear on the concentrated energy at the tip of his wings, the lunar and the black lightning are starting to be overwhelmed, unable to sustain the Storm Moonʼs force.

ʼI- I think itʼs enough of a display, holding this long should be fineʼ Rex thought.

Although he intends of blocking the entire moon ability to establish his reputation to the Supernatural Elders as well as displaying his dominance, he realized that he couldnʼt, and this is way out of his hands.

Deciding that it was enough, he wanted to use his Pneuma Spell, Ether Blink to escape.

Just as a black lightning strike thunderously descend from the sky aiming at his body, it stopped midway before vanishing completely, blocked by the Storm Moon energy, ”Krggh! What? I canʼt escape!”

”Embrace your fate, youʼre not meant to be in this world...” the Storm Prince declared.

Realizing that he couldnʼt escape, a sense of crisis struck him as the concentration of energy as well as his bones got obliterated and the moon ability passes through and hits him right at the center of his chest.

Boom!

Splash!

”Huaahkkh!!” Rex grunted in pain, his eyes were bulging, and the moon ability is drilling into him.

It was only his own skin and endurance against the moon ability now.

Upon being hit by the moon ability, the Systemʼs notifications that keep on warning him through this ordeal started to turn red, showing the importance of its warning. Rexʼs eyes also started to become hazy.

ʼDamn it! I overstepped! If I donʼt do anything, Iʼm going to die for real!ʼ

As he thought of that, a bluish wall appeared behind him and stopped his body from being pushed back by the moon ability. It was the Storm Princeʼs doing, he wanted Rex to be clamped in between and be pierced to death.

And it worked, more blood gushed out from his chest, and the moon ability is reaching deep.

Just at the peak of the moment, when the moon ability was about to reach his heart and completely kill him, a whisper came into his ears which was akin to the goddess of life, saving him from the icy fingers of death.

ʼDo you need my help, Rex...?ʼ

Listening to the astral voice, Rexʼs eyes jolted awake as he realized who it is.

ʼCountess! Yes! Please! Help me block this, I need your help!ʼ

ʼItʼs the first and last time I help you, Rex. At least until you go to that placeʼ

ʼFine! Fine! Iʼll go to that place after this, but help me right now or else Iʼm going to die!ʼ

Out of nowhere, right at the tip of the drilling moon ability, a sparkle of black energy can be seen that keeps getting stronger by the second. It envelopes the Storm Moon energy before gripping it tightly in place.

In an abrupt manner, the blood that gushed out of his chest stopped.

Not only that, the Storm Prince who was excited that the Royal Black Prince is under his mercy and was pushing the moon ability forward frown when he finds resistance, he couldnʼt push his moon ability anymore.

ʼWhat is this...?ʼ the Storm Prince thought in confusion.

But then a spark of dark energy travels through the moon ability and hits him, it was then his eyes widened as he instantly recognizes the dark energy, ʼWhen Baralt informed me that the Royal Black Prince was in possession of the Dark Moon King Mark, I assumed he meant the actual Dark Moon. But it turns out this abomination had made a pact with the Banished One?!

Gritting his teeth, the Storm Prince knows that this is a bad thing for him.

Knowing that it has already gone this far and he couldnʼt take back his steps, his eyes bulged before he descends down from the sky intending to finish the Royal Black Prince here and now before it was too late.

Kaboom!

Rex feels another force pushing the moon ability, he coughed blood again.

Looking up, he saw the Storm Prince pushing with his own raw power out of desperation.

Even though he got help from the Countess, she only stopped the Storm Moon energy from hurting his inside. At this rate, he wouldʼve been pierced through, and he decided that he couldnʼt risk it.

ʼSystem, Iʼll have to use it. Thereʼs no other way out of this...ʼ

But just as thought of that, two powerful energies hit the moon ability from the side.

Kaboom!

Under the powerful two powerful energies, the moon ability that was already disoriented by the Countess shatters, gushing a forceful wind to the surroundings. Just before Rex could recover, a voice enters his ears.

”Thatʼs enough, we should stop here...”
