Chapter 807: Chapter 807

Instead of answering, I leaned down and took one of her toes into my mouth, sucking gently. A small, almost reluctant moan slipped out of her. Another UI window appeared.

I kept gently sucking on her toes while my fingers moved up and began softly playing with her clit.

I kept my focus on her feet. They really were beautiful, soft, smooth, and clearly well taken care of. The soles were a delicate pink, the skin smooth without a single rough patch, and her toes were neat and evenly shaped. I took one of them into my mouth again, sucking gently while my tongue swirled around it.

Emma let out a quiet, almost reluctant groan and leaned further back into the couch. I switched to the other foot, licking slowly across the soft sole before sucking on each toe one by one. Every time I pressed my tongue against the sensitive arch or gently bit the pad of her big toe, her breathing grew a little heavier. Her weak spot really was her feet — I could feel it in the way her body reacted.

I varied the sensations: long, slow licks along the sole, soft suction on her toes, the occasional light scrape of my teeth. At the same time my fingers kept playing with her clit in slow, steady circles. Emma’s half-lidded eyes stayed on me, but her usual deadpan expression was starting to crack around the edges. Soft, breathy sounds escaped her as I sucked harder on her toes and rubbed her clit a little faster.

She was getting close. I could tell by the way her thighs tensed and her breathing turned shallow. I doubled down, sucking firmly on her toes while my tongue worked the sensitive spots on her soles, my fingers still teasing her clit with more pressure.

”E... Eva...”

Emma’s body suddenly tensed. A sharper moan slipped out of her as she came. A small gush of wetness landed on the front of my t-shirt while her legs trembled slightly in my hands. She panted, her short green hair falling over her eyes as she tried to catch her breath, the usual flat expression temporarily replaced by the afterglow of her orgasm.

I smiled and gently lowered her legs back down to the floor. Then I rolled my shoulders, still kneeling between her thighs.

”Thanks for trusting me, I suppose.” I gave her a warm smile. ”Now, I should go. Take care, Emma. Hope your customer likes the video.”

”Huh? Y-yeah...” she panted, still a little dazed. ”I... I hope...”

When I got back home, I found Nala sitting at the dinner table with a laptop in front of her. She was wearing her blue-light glasses, which she claimed helped reduce the strain from staring at a screen for hours. She didn’t even notice me until I walked into the living room.

”Oh,” she said, leaning back slightly. ”Hey, Evan.”

”Hey?” I asked. ”Why are you still up? It’s past midnight.”

”How could I sleep?” She let out a tired breath. ”Damn Anotta. I’m cleaning up her mess. Do you know how many tweets they put out every day? Millions. Millions of tweets joking about my company.”

”How’s Carrie coming along?” I asked. ”I mean, surely her followers can help turn the tide.”

”Yeah...” She nodded. ”She’s a big name. It helps. A lot, actually. I’d even go as far as to say we’re lucky to have her.” Nala turned her attention back to her laptop. ”I couldn’t think of anyone better for this situation. Everyone loves her.”

”And you hate her?”

”I don’t hate her. I just... don’t trust her. Not yet.” Nala sighed. ”Kim’s in the same boat as me. But she’s gritting her teeth because she thinks it’s what’s best for the company.”

”Hmm.” I nodded. ”Well, putting everything else aside, look at it this way: at least there’s a positive to all of this. Carrie’s followers will surely help.”

”Yeah...” She paused. ”I hope so.”

”I’m going to take a shower, then hit the bed.”

”Yeah, I need to sleep too,” she said, closing the laptop. ”God... I’m so tired. And this headache... gah.”

”You’re right. Just get some sleep, Nala.” I walked over to her and kissed the crown of her head. ”You need it.”

Her shoulders slumped, then she met eyes with me. ”I love you.”

I smiled, and kissed her on the forehead. ”I love you, too, Ms. CEO.”

I woke up when the alarm on my phone blared. With a groan, I scooted closer to the nightstand, grabbed the phone, and shut it off. I usually didn’t have trouble waking up for work, but lazing around so much lately had apparently turned me into a bit of a slob.

”Uugh...” Nala groaned from my left. ”God...”

”Hmm...” I mumbled, eyes still closed. ”Can’t wake up?”

”No... I went to bed so late yesterday.” She muttered. ”I just wanna sleep five more minutes... no. Five more hours.”

Jasmine yawned and shifted on the other side of the bed. I heard the sheets rustle, but since my eyes were still shut I couldn’t see what she was doing.

”Work doesn’t wait, Ms. CEO,” she said. ”I’ll help Minne get breakfast ready.”

”Yeah, I’ll...” Nala yawned again. ”I’ll... yeah. Five minutes.”

I took a deep breath, then finally opened my eyes and stared at the familiar ceiling. I stayed like that for a few seconds, lost in thought, until Jasmine got out of bed and came into my field of vision. We both smiled. She leaned down and gave me a soft kiss on the cheek.

”You two slept late?” she asked.

”Yup,” I replied.

”Want me to get you a coffee?” she said as she headed toward the bathroom.

”Yeah, sure.”
