The Heart System

Chapter 838: Chapter 838

Minne disappeared for a second and came back with a soft throw blanket. She gently draped it over Esme’s lap with a shy little smile, clearly trying to help her feel less exposed. Esme gave her a small, grateful nod.

Eleanor leaned back and exhaled. ”God, today was exhausting. The new karaoke section at the club finally opened, and it was nonstop from the afternoon all the way through the evening. My feet are killing me.”

”That busy already?” Jasmine asked.

”Busier than we expected,” Eleanor replied. ”But the tips were good, so I can’t complain too much.”

A comfortable quiet settled over the room for a moment, the kind that only happens when everyone is relaxed and glad to be together. The soft sound of the shower running could still be heard from down the hall.

Eleanor tilted her head slightly. ”Who’s in the shower?”

”Kayla,” I answered. ”She’s staying with us for the next couple of days. Her car broke down and she has time off.”

”Oh, sweet.” Eleanor smiled. ”She was the girl with the big butt, right?”

Tessa walked in from the kitchen and sat down at the dining table with a grin.

”Yeah. Everyone knows her as the big-butt girl.”

A few soft chuckles went around the room. Esme’s face got even redder, though she was starting to smile a little despite her shyness. Eleanor just looked amused, completely comfortable in her tight little uniform while the rest of us settled into the easy, familiar atmosphere of the penthouse.

”The snow is crazy out there,” Eleanor said, settling more comfortably on the couch. ”I don’t even know how we made it home.”

”Oh, wine, Eleanor?” Jasmine asked, already starting to stand.

”Sure.”

”I’ll get it,” Minne said quickly, already heading toward the kitchen before Jasmine could fully rise.

”Thank you.” Eleanor smiled after her. ”God, she really is a cutie, huh?”

I let out a quiet sigh. ”She is. She really is.”

A short while later Minne returned with a glass of red wine and carefully handed it to Eleanor.

”Thank you, sweetie.”

”Of course.”

Eleanor took a slow sip and closed her eyes for a moment. ”It’s good. Just the thing I wanted after a long day of work.”

From down the hallway the shower finally cut off.

”Hey!” Kayla’s voice called out from the bathroom. ”Which towel should I use?”

”The gray one!” Minne called back. ”Um, the one on the right!”

”Thank you!”

”I’ll get your clothes, Ms. Kayla!”

”Thank you double!”

Minne turned toward Nala, who was still focused on the laptop open on the dining table. ”I’ll grab some of your clothes for her, Ms. Nolin. Is that okay?”

Nala gave a small nod without looking up. ”Yep. Go ahead.”

Minne disappeared into the master bedroom, came back out with a small stack of clean clothes, and slipped into the bathroom to hand them over. A moment later she rejoined everyone in the living room.

Not long after, the bathroom door opened and Kayla stepped out. Her hair was still a little damp and slightly messy. She was wearing one of Nala’s oversized t-shirts and a pair of tight black yoga pants that clung to every curve. That ass looked unreal in them: full, thick, and perfectly outlined. It was also very obvious she wasn’t wearing any panties; the soft cameltoe was clearly visible through the thin fabric.

My cock twitched hard at the sight.

”Oh, hey,” Kayla said casually, then noticed the two newcomers. She gave Eleanor and Esme a friendly little wave. ”What’s up girls?”

Tessa laughed from the dining table. ”Alright, we should get ready before this horny monkey’s dick explodes. Go wait for us on the balcony, Evan. We’ll let you know once we’re ready.”

”Ohhh, yeah. Sure.”

I stood up, gave the room one last glance, and walked out onto the balcony, sliding the glass door shut behind me. The heated flooring and outdoor heaters kept the space surprisingly comfortable despite the snow. I exhaled, sat down on one of the sunbeds, then stretched out fully and looked out over the city. Snow covered the streets below. Neon lights from the surrounding buildings glowed softly through the falling flakes.

”Damn,” I muttered to myself. ”Wish I didn’t finish my last cigarettes.”

A minute later the balcony door slid open again. Kayla stepped out, testing the air with one hand before fully committing.

”Oh. It’s actually warm out here. I thought I’d freeze.”

”You’re cool... or, well, the opposite,” I chuckled.

Kayla walked over to the sunbed across from mine and lay down, stretching her legs out. The t-shirt and yoga pants left very little to the imagination. That massive ass was on full display even while she was lying on her side.

”Wow,” she said, looking out at the snowy skyline. ”Love the view from up here.”

”Yep.” I arched an eyebrow at her. ”You’re not going to get ready with the others?”

”Nope.” She shrugged. ”I didn’t bring anything. Just me and these tight yoga pants.”

”More than enough,” I said with a small chuckle.

Kayla turned her head toward me, a little smirk playing on her lips. ”I still can’t believe we fucked in the car earlier. You think they cleaned it thoroughly? Nala seemed pretty serious about making us lick the seats clean if she found any stains.”

”They do a good job,” I said. ”Trust me.”

”Fingers crossed.”

”Yep.”

We both fell quiet for a moment, just lying there on the heated sunbeds, watching the snow drift past the neon lights of the city while the rest of the girls got ready inside.

”Psst, a little spoiler.” Kayla whispered, still lying on her side facing me. ”Jasmine and Tessa are wearing...”

”No! No spoilers.” I chuckled. ”You’ll ruin the fun.”

”Eh, you’re right.” She laughed softly. ”How come we always wear different stuff and you just... get naked and be ready? Where’s the effort here?”

”What, you want me to wear a fireman costume and pole dance for you girls?” I shrugged with a smile. ”You wouldn’t want that. I can guarantee it.”
