The Heart System

Chapter 788: Chapter 788

Leaning against the railing, I looked down toward the parking lot. A familiar black sedan rolled through the entrance. Right on time.

The car came to a smooth stop near the main entrance. The rear passenger door opened first.

Carrie stepped out, dressed as elegantly as ever despite the weather. Her long coat matched the dark umbrella her driver immediately opened above her. He walked around the car, staying half a step behind as they headed toward the building.

She didn’t go unnoticed.

Several employees on neighboring balconies stopped talking altogether.

”Is that... Carrie fucking Beldenwary?”

”What is she doing here?”

”No way.”

”Isn’t she that celebrity?”

”I thought she never visited companies herself.”

”I heard she’s involved in charity work. Maybe it’s about that.”

”No... she’s heading inside.”

People standing near the windows inside the offices also turned to look. Heads followed her as she crossed the parking lot, whispers spreading from one corner of the building to another within seconds.

I quietly watched her while taking another drag from my cigarette.

Well, she came after all.

Now I just hoped she and Nala could put the past behind them. Their first meeting had been a disaster, especially after everything Carrie had done with Kim. Still, the woman I spent yesterday with wasn’t the same person I’d spent months hating. Whether Nala could see that too remained to be seen.

I pulled out my phone and called Nala. The call rang twice before it disconnected.

A second later, a text message arrived and I opened it.

’Still in the meeting. Five more minutes.’

I slipped the phone back into my pocket. Well, until Nala finished, I supposed it was my job to keep Carrie occupied.

I finished my cigarette, crushed it into the ashtray, and took one last sip of coffee before heading back inside. I emptied the remaining coffee into the sink, rinsed the mug, and placed it with the used dishes.

After rolling my shoulders to loosen up, I took a deep breath and left the break room. ”Here goes nothing.”

I walked toward the elevator and crossed my arms. It was still on the ground floor, taking its time coming up. After a few seconds the doors finally opened, and Carrie stepped out with two men flanking her. One was her driver, I recognized him from when he’d gotten out of the car earlier. The other looked like a company employee, probably assigned to guide her to Nala.

”Ms. Beldenwary,” I said with a polite smile. ”An honor seeing you here.”

She smiled back for a brief moment, then cleared her throat and returned to her serious expression. ”And your name?”

”Evan Marlowe.” I took a small step back.

All three of them moved out of the elevator. I stayed close to Carrie for a second. Our eyes met, a quick, private look, then, to avoid anyone suspecting we knew each other, I turned and walked toward my desk near Nala’s office.

”Ms. Nolin will be out shortly from her meeting,” I said. ”To what do we owe the pleasure of this unannounced visit, I wonder?”

”You’ll see,” Carrie replied. ”Is there a place where we can speak in private, Mr. Marlowe? I’d like to learn more about the project from you until Ms. Nolin returns.”

”Of course.” I nodded. ”Follow me.”

Carrie turned to her driver. ”You can stay here.”

”Of course, Ma’am.”

I led her down the short hallway and into Nala’s office. Once we were both inside, I closed the door behind us, then locked it. Without a word I walked over to the control panel near the window and tapped a few buttons. The smart glass frosted over completely, turning opaque so no one in the corridor could see inside.

I turned back to Carrie, grabbed her by the wrist, and pushed her firmly against the wall. Our bodies pressed close. I kissed her hard. She kissed me back immediately. My hands slid down and groped her ass through the fabric of her dress, squeezing the soft, thick flesh.

”Mr. Marlowe, huh?” I murmured against her lips, smiling, then kissed her again.

”Fuck me,” she moaned quietly. ”When will Nala be back?”

”Five minutes,” I replied.

”We have enough time, then.” She reached up and grabbed the thin straps of her dress. ”Quick.”

The dress was a professional black piece, sleeveless, form-fitting, with a modest neckline that still hugged her soft curves perfectly. It looked expensive and appropriate for a business visit, but the way it clung to her body left little to the imagination once you were this close. She slipped the straps off her shoulders and pushed the dress down in one smooth motion. It pooled at her feet, leaving her in just a simple black bra and matching panties. She unhooked the bra quickly, let it fall, then hooked her thumbs into her panties and slid them down her legs.

Completely naked now, she turned around to face the wall, arched her back, and pushed her thick ass out toward me.

I unzipped my pants and pulled my already-hard cock free. I stepped in close, lined myself up against her wet entrance, and pushed inside her in one steady thrust.

”Ooh... fuck,” Carrie moaned, her forehead resting against the wall. ”So good...”

I gripped her soft hips and started fucking her right there against the wall of Nala’s office, the frosted glass hiding us from the rest of the floor.

I kept fucking her against the wall, my hands gripping her soft hips. She was already soaked, her pussy wet and gripping me tightly with every thrust. I gave her thick ass a firm slap, watching it jiggle, then leaned in and licked a slow stripe up the side of her neck before biting lightly near her ear.

”Fuck... you feel so good like this,” I muttered under my breath. ”Bent over in Nala’s office, taking my cock like you can’t get enough. So fucking wet for me already...”

Carrie moaned quietly, pushing her ass back to meet my thrusts. The danger of it, the locked door, the frosted glass, the fact that anyone could knock at any second, only made it hotter. Both of us were feeding off that risk. Every wet sound of my cock sliding in and out of her felt louder than it should have in the quiet office.

”Harder,” she whispered, her voice shaky. ”We don’t have much time...”

I slammed into her deeper, one hand sliding around to squeeze her soft tit while the other stayed locked on her hip. The desk creaked faintly. Her soft body bounced with every thrust, her slightly heavy tits swaying under her as she braced herself against the wall.

Then someone knocked on the door.

”Shit...”
