The Golem Mage

As for the Third Elder, his golem merged with him immediately turning him into a golden battle mage, the Second Elder had two identical Iron Golems standing behind him which both wield rusty swords.

As for the Fifth Elder, he was still seated atop his Tier 7 Tiger Golem, while the Tier 6 golem had a black blob levitating silently behind him, though the golem was only giving a Peak Tier 6 aura , but it still looked dangerous just standing beside its master.

The strange thing was that both the Sixth and Second Elders were giving off Tier 7 auras, yet those auras were unstable, it was only after rising into the skies that the City Lord realized they were not truly Tier 7 mages, but rather mages standing at the very border of entering the High Rank realms.

They were so close. Clearly, if they had possessed the proper resources, they would already have stepped into the High Ranks, looking at the elders before him, he understood that the Gordons Clan could no longer be classified as a Mid-Tier clan.

Their power was already brushing against the threshold of the weaker High-Rank clans, he knew the only thing they were lacking were proper cultivation resources and they might have even surpassed their current progress.

“Attack!” The City Lord commanded angrily, and the fifteen Tier 7 mages surged forward he had under him along with the five that was given to him from the branch clan dashed forward, targeting everyone except the Gordons Clan Patriarch, as his other two golems moved down to help the other Gordons elders.

As this happened, the Fourth Elder casually swung the spear in his left hand sideways, swatting away the mages rushing toward him as if they were nothing more than insects.

With them removed from the fray, he lifted himself higher into the air and came to stand beside the Patriarch, who remained motionless, calmly waiting for the City Lord and the other two Tier 8 mages before him to make their move.

At last, the City Lord made his move.

As Green, glistening scales rapidly spread across his body, forcefully pushing his realm from Mid Tier 8 into the High Tier 8 domain, the moment this happened, the Gordons Patriarch finally acted as well.

“Finally, we get to play,” the two clown-like golems that swirling in the air spoke in unison as they shot toward him.

In the next instant, they appeared to slam directly into his body, as black and white dust erupted outward, swallowing the space where he once stood, before dispersing as quickly as it had formed.

When the dust finally settled and George Gordons came back into view, he looked completely different.

He seemed to have been split into a combination of two colors, the left side of his hair was pitch black, completely mismatched with his age, while the right side of his head was pure white.

Even his robe had changed, following the same pattern, on the black side, faint touches of white were woven into the fabric, while on the white side, thin streaks of black traced the details.

In his right hand was a mask, and the moment the smoke cleared, he raised it and placed it over his face, and it latched on instantly, as though it were not a mask at all but a painted extension of his skin.

It was a white mask carved with black curves around the eyes, mouth, and nose, the nose in particular shaped into an exaggerated, clown-like form.

What made it even more unsettling was its expression, the left side of the mask, matching the black half of his body, was locked in a deep frown, while the right side, aligned with the white, was twisted into a wide, laughing smile.
