The Golem Mage

Titan’s summoned ice golems, all launched a coordinated attack on the Chimera, attempting to smash their maces and clubs onto its body.

However, the Chimera swiftly defended itself by covering its body with one of its huge wings, causing the golems’ attacks to rebound them back.

Titan who had patiently waited for an opportune moment, quickly crafted a long ice spear, and with precise aim, he sent the spear hurtling towards the Chimera’s exposed wings, impaling it and exacerbating its earlier injury from Alec’s piercing attack.

Titan’s determination to exploit this weakness was unwavering, after he had learnt that its wings could be injured after being pierced.

As the battle progressed, the Chimera grew increasingly aware of Titan’s strategy of avoiding direct confrontation and relying on his minions to provoke it, while he prepared to strike his wings with an ice spear.

Frustrated by Titan’s evasive tactics, the Chimera decided to change its approach and moved toward Titan instead.

However, when it attempted to flap its wings, it was surprised to find that they were now burdened by the accumulated ice, weighing it down, and stopping him from using a it’s dashing wing move.

But even as the Chimera locked eyes with Titan, the latter maintained his cold, calculated expression.

In a display of defiance, the Chimera roared vigorously, directing a powerful sound wave towards its left wings.

The forceful attack shattered the immense accumulated ice, alleviating some of the added weight.

Had it not been for this momentary movement, the Chimera might never have realized that Titan had been manipulating its disdain for him to gain an advantage.

Titan had cunningly orchestrated the battle against the Chimera.

And due to this revelation, all of Titan’s calculated tactics was in vain as the Chimera no longer stood lazily and suddenly dashed towards Alec, who hovered in mid-air.

Recognizing the futility of continuing to engage with Titan, the Chimera concluded that defeating him would be an elusive goal.

In the eyes of the Chimera, Titan was akin to an cockroach who just won’t die, Seeing the Chimera’s diversion towards Alec, the Ice golems that have been summoned by Titan, attempted to impede its path.

However, their efforts were swiftly thwarted as the Chimera skilfully utilized its snake tail as a whip, effortlessly swatting them aside.

The interference of the golems, though unsuccessful in obstructing the Chimera’s movement, but it unintentionally provided an opening for Titan to maneuver closer to Alec.

Seizing the split-second opportunity, Butcher, appearing slyly from behind the Chimera, swung his axe with the intention of severing its neck.

But just as if the Chimera possessed eyes behind its neck, it instinctively directed its snake tail towards Butcher, countering his attack in mid air.

Butcher simply smiled as the snake overpowered his strike and pierced through his elemental body.

He raised his lightning axe and brought it down on the snake’s body, which had been restricted by the force of the lightning emanating from within his own body.

As the axe slammed into the snake’s skin, all the stored lightning energy within Butcher was discharged into its body.

The Chimera cried out in pain, clearly affected by the injury to its tail, In fact, the entire body of the snake was charred black and its eyes closed, signifying its death, the whole of the chimera’s tail went limp and was no longer moving.

However, the cost of landing such a lethal strike was too great for Butcher to bear.

He slumped to the ground, devoid of energy, The dark clouds and lightning that surrounded his rocky body dissipated, leaving only a faint trace of electricity that kept him alive as he lay there.

By using this attack, Butcher had to draw out the lightning that sustained his own life, leaving him vulnerable.

In an enraged state, the Chimera ploughed through the ice golems summons that were trying to surround him and made its way to Alec.

With a swipe of its claw, a large phantom wolf claw image appeared around its outstretched claws, as it aimed to strike both Titan and Alec simultaneously.

In response, Titan created a massive ice shield, Although it was heavy, but Sword Saint stepped in to lend his support, and together they managed to lift it.

As they moved the shield to meet the Chimera’s attack, but even they could feel it crack under the force of the attack.

”Just the two of you can’t stop me,” the Chimera shouted in anger, confident in its power.

”I will devour your master right in front of you and watch as you lose your magic, returning to mere particles of elements.” The Chimera said as it exerted even more force, causing Titan and Sword Saint to buckle under the pressure.

Suddenly, their attention was diverted by the arrival of a new golem, its voice echoing through the chaos.

”Who is this arrogant idiot who dares to dream of touching our master?” Oni emerged from one side, his five summoned Shinigami oni following closely behind him.

The aura they exuded was shocking, as even the spider babies on the trees look at the Chimera hungrily.

”Titan, you have failed our master, Is this how you protect him?” Legion said taunting Titan as both him and Magnito descended from another direction, with Magnito summoning his Quicksilver guardians instantly, The three steel humanoid summons stood behind them too.

The Chimera took a step back, eyeing the golems that surrounded him.

If he felt a slight pressure before when facing Alec and Titan, it was nothing compared to the deathly feeling that engulfed him now as he was surrounded by Alec’s golem army .

”How?, How is he able to command such unique creatures?, No, he must possess many secrets. I must devour him and assimilate his powers to become the perfect creature,”

The Tier 4 Chimera thought, its desire to consume Alec and evolve consuming its senses, It momentarily forgot the fear of death it had just experienced.

Once again, it lunged forward in an attempt to attack, but this time, it wasn’t just Titan who fought back, as Every golem there moved to kill it.

Twenty-nine powerful golems, consisting of Alec’s main golems and there own summons, engaged the Chimera.

It took less than five minutes of relentless assault and hacking before the Chimera finally met its demise.

As soon as the creature died, Alec’s breakthrough was completed, as he slowly opened his eyes to the gory sight of the Chimera’s hacked body.
